By now, the entire world knows Andrea Stolpe is one of the most respected songwriting instructors in the entire music industry. Just watch a few of her free YouTube videos to get a tiny flavor of her expertise. Not to mention more in-depth online and face to face classroom instruction. So I say nothing new here. Just grateful I’ve learned so much from her professional experience.

Connection - connection- connection. Andrea and her team are great at connecting songwriters from around the globe. Pulling together wonderful creators and matching them up for unique and exciting co-writes. I attended the UK retreat at Eaton Manor, and it was an incredible facility with beautiful grounds and lovely hosts. I felt very inspired by the setting and the journey to make it all happen.

Andrea, somehow, found a way to not step on another songwriters creative spirit- we are a rare bunch of characters. The tools we learned are a tremendous asset to help get unstuck.

I could also tell, that the team had spent a lot of time and effort with the accommodations and matching roommates up and I am 50+ years young, and I had the most perfect roommate for me. Thank you to Madison for being so welcoming and inclusive I also loved Lumia’s harmony exercises. That’s a keeper for me!

I left with 20 new friends and some great new collaborators, and the 3 new songs, that didn’t exist when I got there. Times that by 20 people - 60 new songs were born in one week. Pretty amazing.

Andrea Stolpe's website and resources are a game changer for any songwriter

I've just completed the 30 Day Songwriter course. I found it very useful, with manageable daily exercises to help embed the knowledge covered in each video. It was great to be able to post your work with others in the community and both give and receive feedback. If you struggle getting to grips with the many different aspects involved in writing a well rounded song, this course will definitely get you on the right track :)

30-Day Songwriter: Nov. 2025 Class

If you have a box full of old, unfinished songs or beginning to write new ones, eventually inspiration will run out. TIME to LEVEL up and learn the craft of songwriting by one of the top songwriters in the business, Andrea Stolpe. No such thing as "not ready yet" or "not the right time". The right time is now. She's got a bag full of songwriting tools and doesn't hesitate to simply share them; no long-winded lectures, no "shrouded" in secret language. The lecture videos/audios are all 1080p with closed caption and "search video" and every lecture has a PDF. The CC with "search video" option is how I was able to go to class during work by turning down the volume and typing out every word from the "search video" option and I would read my notes throughout the day.

For me, one of the biggest reasons why this course is very effective has to do with the posting of daily assignments along with the other classmates posting theirs, and so it gave one a chance to read, listen and sometimes interact with each other. The best part was one felt safe because it was, at best, very encouraging, especially if a classmate(s), who have amazing skills, left an encouraging comment on one's post. At worst, there was no comment left and after awhile, having no comments, it started to feel "non-judgmental" and safe to post one's assignment. I'm a novice lyricist and "off key" singer and I felt no judging and safe when I posted my lyrics and links to the current song I was working on.

If I could change one thing on my part, is that I would've liked to have done at least 3 months of Descriptive/Destination/Objective/Sensory writing before diving in the 30-Day Songwriter. But back in early November 2025, the time was "NOW" and I just went for it, and I am very happy that I did.

My biggest takeaway, was Andrea giving you these songwriting tools/muscles and emphasizing to turn off your inner critic (the one that wants you to fail/quit) and trust your intuition/instincts. Your instincts are the "directions" and the tools are the "boat" to get you to the finish line.

My experience with andreastolpe.com was excellent. The artwork is unique, high-quality, and delivered on time. It's a reliable source for anyone looking for original and inspiring pieces.

Andrea's work—and her team—are incredibly relevant to a songwriter's journey! It's the tailor-made learning process I didn’t even know I was waiting for.

I’m an independent artist. Before I joined the EMC, I was struggling to pinpoint the problem areas with my songs, and I felt isolated without a local music community.

Since joining the EMC in late July, I’ve had several breakthroughs on songs for my upcoming EP, gained a clearer understanding of my strengths and learned how to address my biggest areas of improvment.

The regular cadence of live classes with Andrea and other industry experts, along with the weekly check-ins led by Chad Shank have been both a great source of learning and a balm for isolation.

Andrea’s classes gave me easy-to-use tools for writing more emotionally resonant melodies and lyrics, while Chad’s sessions sparked interesting and insightful peer feedback that helped me improve my creative process.

Overall I think the EMC offers amazing value for independent artists looking for a supportive community, insightful feedback and a structured way to keep learning and growing. Highly recommended!

This program has been mostly positive. I realize that they are still new and figuring things so I’m keeping that in mind. I would love to have more opportunities to work with Andrea and other high tier song writers. Also would love to have more guest speakers that are leaders in the industry like Benjamin Groff.

I can’t say enough about Andrea’s programs. She’s such a fabulous and gifted teacher! Her content is stellar, and a great value. I’ve learned so much in the last few months and see great results applying her tools. If songwriting is an interest, you will be thrilled to have Andrea in your life.

It’s good instruction and tips, and Andrea is clearly a professional in this area. Also, I have been learning a lot by listening to the feedback provided to other participants and from some of the songs posted.

Andrea Stolpe and her team at the EMC are very special to me and have been since April 2022 when I started. The value of the material presented, the quality of the people presenting the information and collaborating experiences in the group have helped me achieve the progress I have made on my goals. The EMC experience keeps my interest and provides constant motivation towards creating my best songs and my best collaborations.

Andrea is an incredible teacher who gives a very personal touch to how she runs these retreats. I felt motivated, inspired, and had a new found confidence in my writing after spending a week with her and about 20 other attendees. I definitely recommend doing this retreat!

Andrea is a deep well of songwriting craft knowledge with an even deeper, multifaceted heart. She understands songwriting, and songwriters and she knows how to meet any songwriter where they're at and take them higher.

Collaborating in trios to speedwrite and then perform songs was exhilerating. A striking team spirit developed among the songwriters. Andrea has enormous empathy and patience. In her individual coaching she listens carefully to each participant and imparts a valuable, well distilled nugget. Madison worked diligently with the resort staff to maximize our comfort and well being.

I attended with low expectations and was blown away by the retreat. Words can't describe how good the retreat was - it was transformational! You barely get a chance to connect on such a deep level with other like-minded people. Andrea and her team made this a once in a lifetime experience! I'll be back :)

This retreat was an incredible and life-changing experience. I found my way here sort of by happenstance, and the could not have found the whole week more moving. From the workshops, to the small group sessions, co-writes, and everything in between, the retreat helped me on my journey--in ways both expected and unexpected. It was a vulnerable, safe, moving, and constructive week! Much growth happened, and I look forward to possible doing this again someday!

Had a great week amazing people and very relaxing creating a good space for creativity. My only thing is that I had wished there would’ve been more time for songwriting but I know sometimes that’s out of anyone’s control.

Andrea is a great teacher. She taught me things that only people with lots of experience can teach, saving me time and effort. The whole operation is top notch. The songwriting retreat ran like a well oiled machine. Being around so many talented singers, musicians and songwriters was very inspiring. Thank you Andrea and Maddie for an awesome experience.
