What an amazing week! A dream for any songwriter. The group of individuals that Stolpe's team selects are all talented and kind. So, so glad I signed up for this retreat. The food was good to boot!

Andrea’s retreat was so worth it! I learned so much and made wonderful friends. I enjoyed it so much even despite not feeling my best the last day. We had amazing workshops and had different collaborations to work with for three nights. Amazing artists attended from all over the world, Gordon Kennedy was a guest speaker sharing his music and uplifting thoughts, yoga, and great food! So glad I attended! Thank you

Inspiring, exciting, educational, intense -- with lots of fun and laughs! I plunged into songwriting in 2020 and have taken many classes (Old Town School of Folk Music, Vanderbilt, Steve Seskin). All were excellent (especially Steve's), but Andrea's workshop was the most intense songwriting experience I've had: helpful, entertaining lectures; energized and somewhat frantic co-writing sessions; plenty of time for private guidance from Andrea. Importantly, everyone in the four-day workshop -- regardless of age or songwriting stage -- was clearly committed to improving his or her craft and helping others improve theirs. I'll be back!

Andrea provides excellent instruction and follows it up with daily co-writing challenges to practice what we learn. The attendees were talented, personable, and encouraging.

Andrea helped me break what had been a few months of writer’s block. It freed me up in all writing idioms, and now I’m finishing my children’s book and the songs are just a flowing again!

Andrea's sessions were great, full of very useful and actionable suggestions to help keep in the songwriting flow. We also had a great group of songwriters at our retreat so I really enjoyed both the co-writing sessions and the playback of everyone's songs.

I could not have asked for a better experience. The retreat struck just the right balance between practical discussions around the mechanics of songwriting/lyric writing, and offering the opportunity to put those ideas into practice in the afternoon co-writings sessions. I also loved the fact that there was ample opportunity to pick up instruments and play, and share both songs and the joy of playing music, with other musicians. Andrea herself was present and engaged and encouraging and Madison’s assistance was invaluable throughout the entire week. Lastly, meeting the beautiful, supportive people in my group was the icing on the cake. Feel so lucky to have had this experience.

This is a life-changing workshop, filled with great hands-on pragmatic songwriting tools to get the creative juices flowing. Andrea offers concrete examples of tools and tips from established songwriters. You will find collaborators and a community of friends here, all passionate about songwriting. I am already thinking about the next retreat!

Andrea was totally professional. She perceptively matched participants in songwriting groups, as to their strengths (and I think, even their personalities). Her one to one workshop sessions and her group workshop session using the song of one of the participants, were particularly effective.

First of all, it was so nice to meet Andrea and Madison in person. Warm and welcoming, it was exciting to meet the other songwriters, dive in and stay engaged in bonding, learning and creating throughout our time together. I will definitely consider returning again…and again. Andrea provided some to-the-point helpful individual guidance as well as support for the co-writing teams. An amazing experience and probably some new friends for life! Full Moon Resort is wonderful.

Andrea Stople Songwriting retreat was so great! To be able to have an uninterrupted week of learning songwriting skills, hanging out with a great group of like minded creative people in a beautiful setting was more than I could have asked for. The cowriting sessions were something new for me, and I was amazed at how good of a song could be created in about 3 hours with someone you just met.
I highly recommend treating yourself to one of these retreats.

As the title suggests, this week with Andrea exceeded any expectations I had. I just arrived home yesterday so I wanted to write this while the magic was still present. I went in to the week having spent most of my musical career as a solo artist - writing, practicing and performing alone. I wasn't sure how I would adapt being in a group setting, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it all went. Andrea and Madison hosted a week of not only learning the tools at my disposal in my songwriters toolbox, but taught me how to apply them to new songs and how to use them to sharpen my older songs that maybe feel incomplete. The environment they created also facilitated so much learning from my peers through introspective discussions and group writing. To say that we caught a piece of uncatchable magic would be an understatement. If you're a songwriter in any capacity and want to continuously be developing your craft, I highly suggest taking part in one of Andrea's retreats. Maybe I'll see you there, because I'm definitely going to be returning to one in the future. Thank you Andrea for reigniting my passion for this art with new fuel to keep it going.

Andrea will help take your songwriting from the ordinary to a place much closer to the place where full time professional artists reside. You will learn to write faster, better, and as a part of a team with others. Think Project Runway Songwriting, without the attrition component. Best of all, you will get a chance to join a community of songwriters and friends, with members quite literally all over the world.

Amazing. I learned so much and came away with specific tools to aid my songwriting. I hope to attend again!

This retreat was just what I needed and I would recommend this to anyone who l9ves songrwriting.

Andrea created a safe and unique space for us to learn and create together. It was as healing as it was educational. Co-writing felt natural, fun, and deeply expansive.

A week well spent learning from Andrea and working with other participants writing and performing songs on a daily basis. I can't say enough good things about this retreat. Very well worth it. If you are thinking about going to one of her retreats, I highly recommend that you do so.
