I cannot give high enough stars for this songwriting course from Andrea. It has transformed my songwriting night and day, and renewed my excitement for songwriting. Not only do I now have a huge abundance of practical tools for writing when stuck, uninspired or struggling to finish songs and/or find creativity, but it also gave me a ton of eye opening moments for improving the quality of songs I’m writing! Truly invaluable!!! Joy is back in my writing process now, whereas it had started to become a chore. Signing up for this was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself and my songwriting will forever be changed.

Amazing courses and community.

I took the 30 minute songwriter course, and i can't think of a single better investment I've ever made in myself and my writing/composing. Throughout this course I have written more material than the 4 years prior combined. Andrea is an amazing teacher, the team behind her is very professional, and the students it attracts are all wonderful people. My warmest recommendations.

This retreat was exactly what I needed at this stage of my songwriting journey. Andrea is terrific, and the workshops and collaborations were beneficial to everyone in the group. I have more tools now for song ideas and for finishing songs. Thanks!

Definitely one of the best experiences I've had. Andrea is extremely knowledgably, kind and made me feel comfortable being vulnerable. So many like minded talented people I was amazed every night we had a presentation.

My experience on this retreat was a definite 5/5. I made connections and lifelong friends that I think I will look back and see as a pivotal moment in my musical journey. I learned a ton from Andrea and appreciated how hands on she was.
I think if there's anything I could have requested a little more of would have been to have more space allotted in the retreat for us working on our own personal half/partially written songs (in groups), rather than starting from scratch on every write. Even without as much time allotted to that, it was still a 5/5 experience that I hope to repeat. Life changing, for sure!

I highly recommend this retreat and experience for anyone wanting to inform and inspire their songwriting skills. I had the most amazing, engaging, and connective time and walked away having learned new access points into my creative process, while gaining a community of songwriting friends/collaborators. Andrea is generous with her knowledge and time and creates a warm, inviting space where everyone feels welcome to share, learn, and grow. There was a wide range of ages, skills, and goals amongst our group so if you are chosen to attend, do it! You will belong and learn so much!

Everything was well organized and Andrea, Madison and Myles were a pleasure to work with, at every level! I loved the week, and it made me think about songwriting in a new way and with new angles. Most of all, the community that’s created in 4 and a half days is incredible. Definitely recommend!

Andrea is an incredibly thoughtful and wonderful human being. She has a remarkable ability to express the human condition through song and help others do the same. I would highly recommend her mentorship program for any serious songwriters.

This was an incredible experience! All the people involved were incredibly friendly, the food and location was awesome, and most importantly I felt like songwriting was conceptualized for me in a way that made sense. I'm a singer-songwriter, and I did the online retreat, then 1-1 mentorship with Andrea, and it was really great. I'd recommend it to any songwriter; all levels, too. IMO, she's the best in the world. She's a true songwriter; not just a teacher. And I could tell she genuinely cares when she gives advice. I remember seeing some other comments from people saying they feel she's stretched thin, and maybe not 'hanging around' much, but I suspect that's just her being concise. Because she's always to-the-point. Whenever I thought her response to me was short, I kept going back to it, and noticing it said everything it had to say.

This retreat was one of the most rewarding experiences. Go to this retreat!! Andrea's teaching is so clear and easy to understand, with actual helpful concrete skills to improve songwriting - if you've seen any of her content, you already know this. But this retreat takes it to the next level with opportunity for co-writing and constructive feedback in a safe and comfortable space. Whatever your strengths/weaknesses are in songwriting, there is a good balance to help you flourish in your strengths and challenge you to grow.

Best songwriting retreat I have ever been too! Andrea is a force for inclusion and growth. The location was incredible!

I went into this retreat with the mindset that it would improve my songwriting capabilities and help me get over some writers block. But I came out with more than I could have ever imagined. As a collective, the other artists and I bonded through our passions for songwriting and music. But what amazed me most was how creating in that environment affected me. Through song, we were able to communicate and express vulnerability, allowing us to connect on such deep levels. This brought me confidence and encouraged me to share more and more of my music. I was originally worried about taking the 5 days off to travel to Nashville, but now I know the skills and connections that I gained during that week will last me forever. As someone who has done lots of songwriting camps and classes, I can say with absolute certainty that this is so so so worth it.

Well-designed and executed week-long retreat on the craft of songwriting by one of the music industry's accomplished songwriters and educators. Hands on, fully immersed experience brought my skills to levels I never dreamed possible. The most effective musical learning experience I have ever participated in and Andrea Stolpe's nurturing communication style made it all the more enjoyable. She is a gem, chock full of knowledge and highly skilled at transferring it all to her students.

My experience at the retreat dramatically exceeded expectations. Andrea guided us in a comforting, clear and pragmatic way. She engaged us, directed us and showed us the infinite possibilities we can encounter along this path. Everything I’d hoped for, plus … the other songwriters she invited created an almost immediate creative and personal bond.
