Antique Lamp Supply has an impressive inventory of many hard-to-find parts, available from the comfort of your own home. You may have to dig a little to find something, but it's far better than trying to source parts locally. Parts are reasonably priced, and any shipping expense is more than ample compensation for the time you'd spend driving or calling around.
I'll be going to them for my lamp part needs in the future.
