Aqua Shield Heating & Cooling Reviews 

I had a problem with my heating, Aquashield assessed the problem and came round. Today, I had to great young men turn up, Chris and Tom and even though the job proven trickier than was expected they stuck to it. Just wanted to extend my thanks to them both, great attitude and politeness, a real credit to the company but most of all to themselves….dimly, thank you.

Just wanted to give a massive thanks to Dave Shaw and Tom. Did a brilliant job on fitting our new boiler. They removed the old boiler from the kitchen and fitted the new one upstairs, left the house as tidy as it was before they started. Really nice guys and couldn’t recommend them enough. Thanks for doing a brilliant job.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I cannot rave enough about my recent experience (4th - 5th October 2021) of having a new boiler installed and moved into a different location in the house. I am going to sing the praises of Dave Shaw, Tom Glover and Ian Phillips who came to our house and completed a brilliant job, absolutely fantastic.
But there is more: to find experience, knowledge, craftsmanship, genuine warmth from all three of these installers blew my wife and I away. They were a pleasure to allow into our house and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
This is a genuine review and I am going to recommend Aqua Shield to anyone who makes an enquiry about a boiler. In fact I am going to contact the MD of Aqua Shield and personally inform them of the fantastic job they performed over these two days.

Fixing a new shower
We are both pensioners, and our old shower "gave up". We needed a new shower and Jo moved heaven & earth to get it quickly - Chris fitted it the first working day after Jo got it. We were only 3 working days without a shower. We cannot commend too highly the service, attention, competence and courtesy of Aquashield, and their representatives Jo & Chris.

I have been using Aqua Shield for my Boiler service for a number of years. So when I needed a new radiator and the wall chasing for the new pipe work. They were my first choice. Work was done brilliantly came with dust sheets covered everything up and cleaned up afterwards. Great Service

After my energy supplier had installed new smart meters the engineer found a gas leak on my system. I called Aquashield for their appraisal and recommendations and I subsequently commissioned them to lay in new pipework for my gas supply. The two men who carried out the work were highly professional and took an obvious pride in their work and left my property clean and tidy. I had a new boiler installed a few years ago by Aquashield which I subsequently have serviced by them. On each occasion I have received the same high level of service including my initial contact with the reception staff who have always been friendly, efficient and helpful.

Just had a new central heating boiler fitted by Aquashield and couldn’t be happier. From the office staff who sorted out quotes and finances efficiently to Ian and Harry, the team that did the work and worked tirelessly throughout the day. They were very friendly and professional, explained everything they were doing and completed the work to an extremely high standard, they are a credit to Aquashield.
I can completely recommend Aquashield as a company and especially Ian and Harry.

I had a new boiler fitted by Tom and Dave who were professional, covered all my carpets explained everything they were doing,very pleasant and took all th mess away with them.and couldn’t thank me enough for making them cup of tea , would recommend this company to anyone

we had our old vented system removed and a new combi boiler fitted. Thanks to Alex, Ian, Chris Dan and Jason for the work, Andy for his quote, survey and organising to Lisa for setting everything up .

Had a new combi boiler installed. 2 fiiters attended, both very friendly and helpful. Boiler fitted efficiently and quickly. They took the time to fully explain how to use the boiler, settings etc. I have received a good service from both the company and staff.

Aquashield have been servicing our boiler and coming out when we have had issues with it for a number of years. They are always so polite and helpful and come when they say they are going to. When our boiler finally gave up, they came out really quickly and quoted for new one. They didn't put us under any pressure to go ahead and we did look for quotes elsewhere (money is tight!) but ended up back with Aquashield. As usual they kept to deadlines and completed the work to a high standard. Really recommend them. They also do our landlord gas safety certificates!

Having recently been left in a position where I have a boiler that suddenly stopped working, I called this company to fix my boiler on which must have been the coldest day of the year so far. I called out of normal hours and my call was taken quickly by a very polite lady who was sympathetic with my situation, I'm so sorry that I can't remember your name and she arranged for an Engineer to call the same evening due to my circumstances, I have to say I was blown away by her help. A plumber arrived within 2 hours who was wearing protective masks and gloves which made me feel safe. The man who came had my boiler repaired and working within 45 minutes. I paid £89 which I felt was very fair considering it was in the evening and on a Saturday. I had called some other companies who couldn't arrive until Monday, My Niece advised me to call Aqua Shield and I'm happy I did. The company called me the next day to check I and my boiler was ok and I am very pleased in all. Thank you again to everyone involved.

Can't praise Aqua Shield enough. Our boiler broke. It was the weekend. The response was immediate. By Monday we had a new boiler. Amazing service and highly competent engineer.

I would not recommend this company too expensive and not professional I am surprised by the reviews I actually want to 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 laugh.... the company didn't do a proper survey and had not checked my gas central heating... I first used aqua Shield in 2018 because the pilot light went off. I was charged £89 for someone to come and put the pilot light on. In 2020 I paid £89 again to have the pilot light put on after windy weather I was told that the boiler should be replaced as it was getting old. Any plumber in Hull charges £45 to put the pilot light on not nearly £90. About 9 months later someone with lack of experience to do a survey was sent.... I decided to get a new boiler in December 2020, and at the time all radiators and pump were heating except one radiator which the bleed valve didn't open. After the boiler was fitted the radiators were not heating properly and the guy quin was pressing me to pay and he was clueless as to the problem... I told him I was not paying till he sent the senior. Next day Andy arrived and said my pump which had been working was now faulty... I am sure this had been broken by quin. Andy somehow hit the pump tinkered with the system and there was some warmth in the radiators... The issue wasn't resolved but he was after payment... The aqua Shield team were pressing for payment .... although the radiators weren't heating well as well as the hot water I decided to pay these non professionally, because I am a single woman alone. the next day the radiators were cold and my 2 years old pump broken... aqua Shield told me that I had to pay to call someone out... Then I was sent a quote of £308 to fit a new pump because they broke my pump. also their survey didn't check that the radiator bleed valves wouldn't turn on 4 radiators and previously they quoted me £180 to change one radiator. The radiator cost is £40 and their charge £140 labour to charge a radiator... so i was just left abandoned by this extortionately priced company. A different plumber quoted just £160 for the new pump with fitting and also labour of £120 to change 4 radiators.. which i bought myself... Anyone who uses this company needs to be very careful it's better to go to individual plumbers and professionals rather than a company which charges exorbitant rates. I think that the trust pilot reviews are so incorrect 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 I am laughing my head off definitely I had the opposite experience. And the other complaint is they took my advance and made me wait several weeks before coming to fix the boiler. And although the heating was not working properly I only paid because I did not want to get harassed. I was being forced to pay when my pump had been broken by aqua Shield... I really did not like dealing with aqua Shield. And it is more difficult for a single woman to find a reliable company. I checked their prices and found out their rates are far higher than the market. At the time of covid companies must show some humanity when dealing with customers and not leave them as in my case without heating throughout the whole Christmas and New year holidays. After the holiday I used a plumber who charged half the aqua Shield rate.

I can not recommend aqua sheild enough, after calling them urgently needing help being stuck with no hot water or heating with a toddler in cold weather.
The lovely ladies in the office arranged for a new boiler to be installed ASAP. The men that came where very friendly and great with my little boy and did the job perfectly.
A great company and I will certainly be using them again. Truly care about their customers

We had booked a new boiler for 16/11/20 from aquashield and by 0900 am both the boiler and parts along with both engineers arrived.
The removal of our old boiler and replacement was carried out by Ian and his colleague in a very professional and seamless manner.
All old parts and packaging were removed and on completion we would not have known they had been in the property.
We would truly recommend Aquashield to anyone thinking of having a boiler replacement first class service

We had three quotes and this was by far the best value. I was initially unsure about ATAG boilers, particularly when you speak to other plumbers. However, 10 guarantee goes a long way, lifetime on the heat exchanger (which is what went faulty on the old boiler).
Replacement boiler instal completed in a day, pleased with the service. Now the boiler is in and working I'm happy with choosing ATAG and Aqua Shield.
