The best mattress I can imagine. I ordered soft and it is really soft and comfortable from the moment you sit on it until next morning. I highly recommend this medium/soft silk and cashmere to anyone fed up with hard solid mattresses which feel like boards. Excellent night’s sleep. It came within promised dates and delivery was as predicted with helpful staff.

Had our silk and cashmere king size for just over a week. Getting used to it after a sagging foam mattress. Very comfortable and impressed with the quality. Communication with Harry was excellent, advising us by email suitable mattresses. Website easy to view and make final decision. Delivery company very good, and was able to communicate directly with them regarding vehicle size and access to our property. Very impressed.

From start to finish have had an excellent experience with this company and, more so, Harry himself who has responded to every enquiry or follow up question. We initially chose the Alpaca which, under the trial, just didn’t suit us but is no reflection at all on the quality of the product. We just needed a different feel and firmness. This was no problem for Harry and his team, who were very understanding and helpful in guiding our choices. They swapped it for a Silk and Cashmere - no questions asked, seamless and we even received a refund of the difference in price. Both mattresses are very clearly well made, right down to the small details - you can just tell you’re dealing with a well considered product from the materials to the construction and even the way they’re packaged for delivery. I’m sure running a business is hard work and you won’t always please all customers all of the time, but Harry’s approach is totally refreshing, his hands on involvement is admirable and the customer promise is sincere and genuine. There aren’t the right words to recommend them highly enough without sounding sycophantic - just excellent!

Bought a new mattress from the Welling show room a couple of weeks ago. Service was impeccable, choice was straightforward and my confidence in the product was raised. Absolutely love it. After a fortnight sleeping, why didn’t we do it a couple of years ago. It’s been cool during the heat and easy to turn with the handles (especially the one on the bottom. Thanks the Benmores will certainly recommend.

Love the mattress and the ventilated topper layer that is designed to keep you cool really works and is really appreciated this summer.

We visited the showroom, great service from Paul with his help and knowledge, not a pushy sales person but very helpful.
We decided on the Alpaca mattress and 2 weeks into sleeping on it we are very pleased we chose to use Harry Benmore Mattress.
We would definitely recommend anyone using them and will be telling all our friends about this shop and service.

I find this to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The comfort outweighs the cost by far and so far is proving to be an excellent investment.

Even in the recent heat, coupled with being menopausal, the bed has not been the source of more heat, in fact quite the opposite. It seems to strike a balance between cooling in hot weather and warming in cold.

The customer service was excellent with our questions answered quickly and in detail, by Harry Benmore himself it seemed. We visited the store to try out the mattresses and the salesman was informative and knowledgeable, not at all pushy.

We have been sleeping on it for a couple of months and our backs and necks are so much better compared to life on our previous mattress.

We would definitely recommend.

We purchased the 5” Alpaca

Harry's communication and dedication to helping you choose the right mattress is second to none. I chose to go with the hybrid lux firm which I was nervous about naturally when you don't get a chance to try the mattress first. But I took the leap and 3 months later I cam safely say is one of the best decisions I've made. Its super comfy, surprising light for its size which I though might compromise the quality but it doesn't at all. The cool touch top is a nice touch although not massively taken advantage of by the time you have mattress protector and sheet on but without those you can feel it. A bed is so important and I didn't want to scrimp on a good mattresses..I was willing to spend alot more but so happy I went with this and at 2000 pound for a superior of this quality is amazing. Thanks Harry for your amazing work.

Just had the best week's sleep in years!
We used the little quiz on the website to select the mattress (cashmere and silk) and Harry himself was then very helpful in advising us on which level of firmness to choose. Ordering was very simple and the mattress arrived just over a week later. We did hit a slight hitch with the deliveryman unable to take it upstairs, but Harry's brother Michael was straight on the phone and arranged removals men who installed it the next day with no problem. Mattress is beautiful quality and incredibly comfortable, even in the heatwave.
Altogether a very personal, caring experience and - so far - an excellent product.

From the start it was excellent service. Having visited the store we were guided by an attentive and helpful sales advisor who helped us make our decision.
From ordering to delivery was little over one week and the delivery team were faultless. They collected the old mattress and set in place the new one.
It has proven to be a first rate purchase, the bed is very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone that asks.

The whole experience with Harry Benmore has been fantastic he went out of his way to help me find the right mattress for me. The ordering and delivery process was seamless and the delivery team were polite helpful and respectful. I chose the silk and cashmere mattress medium/soft. It is so well made and I have been sleeping on it for 1 week now, it is gloriously comfortable and even in the extreme temperatures we've been having I've slept well. Thank you Harry. It is fantastic that Harry and his team are producing such a great British product.

We found buying a mattress on line rather daunting so when in the area we were able to visit Harry’s shop. We found him and his team very helpful. No pressure, answered our questions as and when and left us to try the mattresses without hovering around us.

It was explained that as they are an online company and sell direct to the public we wouldn't be able to buy a dual tension mattress or even a zip and link mattress of different tensions as it would be a bespoke order wouldn't comply with the law. We could however buy two single mattresses of different tensions but they would only be 6' 3" inches long whereas we wanted 6' 6".

In the end we bought the Alpaca super king zip and link and hope the tension suits both of us. However Harry pointed out his guarantee of exchange or money back which I hope we don't have to fall back on.

The reason we went for the zip and link is because we are getting older and find turning a king size mattress is too much for us. Also if anything happens to either of us we will be able to use one half as a single bed.

So pleased I bought my new mattress from this company. It is absolutely perfect. The old mattress pick up and delivery was very good too!

We desperately needed a new mattress after buying a mattress in a charity shop when we returned from living overseas for twenty years.
Came across Harry via an internet search, and his website suggested what should be the ideal mattress, and that turned out to be the case, ordered and delivered in a week.
Slight hiccup with the delivery guys who couldn’t get our mattress up the stairs to our second floor apartment, they wanted to take it away, before l had chance to call Michael, one of the team made contact and arranged for a “man with a van” to bring our mattress upstairs, which he did in five minutes.

Amazing….. Best decision ever …. I had read reviews and was pleasantly surprised to see everyone raving about it … I contacted Harry as we needed mattresses for all our rooms and after speaking to him I was so confident that even without visiting the showroom I placed my order … best night sleep in ages we got alpaca, silk n cashmere and regular singles they all are amazing exactly want we needed …. The best bit is their customer service they don’t rush you Harry understood exactly what I wanted and his recommendations were spot on …. Even though due to an issue with the mattress for the trundle cause I made a mistake with the measurements Harry was kind enough to get it collected and offer me a full refund now that’s what I call winning your customer…. I know I will be recommending the company to everyone and when it’s time to replace the mattress In the one room left we will be ordering from them for sure …. Thank you so much….. that is why I take my business to a family run businesses cause the chains can’t beat the passion you see in each product sold by them.
