I have asked for a merchandise return address and refund and nothing is happening.

I purchased an AQUASTRONG PSP150PM pool pump directly from AQUASTRONG. The pump failed while still within the advertised two-year warranty period.
I contacted AQUASTRONG and their service team asked me to provide a detailed video showing that power was reaching the pump, the control panel was completely blank, and the pump would not operate.
I provided the requested video and all of the information they asked for.
Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails asking them to resolve the warranty claim and have received no resolution or meaningful response.
My pool has been without proper circulation while I wait for a company that advertises warranty coverage to address the failure.
I purchased directly from AQUASTRONG because I expected the manufacturer to stand behind its product. Unfortunately, my experience with their warranty service has been extremely disappointing.
I will update this review if AQUASTRONG resolves the matter.

Had an issue with the pump/valve clamp when closing my pool after using my new Aquastrong pump this year. They emailed me back on a Sunday with a replacement part and it shipped the following Tuesday, since Monday was a holiday. A+ service, support and products. TY!

To be clear, this review is about the company not any of their products. I purchased an Aquastrong sand filter and pump. It arrived in a timely manner but there was a part missing, that while not essential to complete the setup, it is something that will be needed to remove and replace the clear pre-filter cover on the pump. It is a lever bar that was in any of the parts boxes. I didn’t actually discover this until the unit was setup. I have been waiting and contacting them for over 6 weeks to try to get them to send it with only 1 response to multiple requests. The closest I came was an email asking if I wanted the part shipped (international shipping) or a $20 credit. I replied I wanted the part shipped and could someone let me know the status. No response since then. All of my correspondence, with the exception of the one email, has been with their very empathetic chat bot, that unfortunately can’t resolve the issue but “understands” my frustration! As far as I can see the pump/filter appear to functioning adequately but there is absolutely no customer service support with this company. They simply do not care and you are on your own!! So just be aware!

I recently purchased (May 2026) an Aquastrong SFPV181T filter system. I had issues (Aug 25th) with the 6-way valve. I contacted the service team via email. They responded promptly and requested photos and information regarding the issue. after sending them the info, the responded with a confirmation of a defective 6-way valve and would ship one out immediately. Between the initial issue email 8/28/26 and the process of shipment 8/31/26, I am very pleased with the customer service of Aquastrong. Due to an issue with the shipping vendor on 9/4/26 (a task beyond Aquastongs control) part of the shipment was misplaced in delivery. I contacted Aquastrong with the tracking information and they proceeded to ship the misplaced item with tracking info on 9/5/26. I was quite skeptical of the warranty process at 1st with Aquastrong, But after the rapid response through emails. I must say their service team and communications with customers is a value all companies should strive for in their industries. I look forward to continued business with Aquastrong in the future.

Horrible customer service and doesn't stand behind there product unless you still have the order number

I bought the 1hp pump and 18” sand filter combo for my 20’x52” pool. I bought it as an upgrade to the original pump and sand filter that came with the pool. I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. Definitely the best upgrade that I’ve made up till this point. I’ve been using it for 3 months and noticed a leak. The 6 way valve housing had somehow sprung a leak. I contacted Aquastrong and they were extremely helpful and replaced my part for free. And also very quickly. I really do appreciate that kind of customer support!

I purchased an Aquastrong HEX022TOP pool heat pump and ultimately went through multiple units that repeatedly tripped GFCI protection shortly after startup, despite a dedicated 120V/20A GFCI circuit installed and tested by licensed electricians.

One unit later displayed E88, E96 and E98 inverter/communication faults. During troubleshooting, Aquastrong instructed us to replace/remove the factory GFCI plug and later to remove internal Y capacitors. The Y-capacitor modification did not solve the problem. I found it unacceptable that troubleshooting a brand-new pool appliance reached the point of modifying factory-installed electrical components.

Aquastrong later acknowledged to me that a small number of HEX022TOP customers had experienced similar GFCI-tripping problems and stated that newer production batches had been changed, including removal of the Y capacitor.

I was also very concerned when I was asked to provide a screenshot of a 5-star review in connection with arranging a replacement. I do not believe a review rating should ever be tied to receiving a remedy for a defective product.

That said, I want to give Aquastrong credit where it is due. Their service team was generally quick to respond, polite and friendly throughout a very frustrating process. They ultimately provided a full refund, reimbursed my documented electrician expenses, and added a goodwill payment.

So my experience with the company was mixed: responsive and courteous people who eventually provided a fair financial resolution, but serious concerns about the product, the troubleshooting process, and the request for a 5-star review.

First of all, I live Westchester NY so the weather starts to warm up in May but the real pool weather would be Mid to late June until early August. My pool without a heater would only reach 82 degrees in the months of July into early August and it would be in the 60s-70s outside of the 6 week hot zone. In order to enjoy the pool for a longer period of time, I purchased a HEX018 unit in Sept 2025 for my 3500 gallon pool and used it for a few weeks. It extended my summer until October getting the pool up to 86-88 degrees. Of course you can't just leave the pool open. You have to cover the pool to preserve the heat. Once the season was over, I carefully put it away. It's very easy to install and use. I opened my pool in May and after about a week, I noticed my pool was loosing water. The unit had a leak. It wasn't from the connectors. I was very disappointed because I spent a lot of money on a heater that I had to replace in such a short period of time. I contacted the company which was very responsive. I sent them pictures and videos in order to diagnose the problem and we just couldn't find where it was leaking from. After a few weeks of back and forth, the company was nice enough to replace the unit. They did the right thing and I appreciate. I do recommend them. Other than the leak last year, I haven't had any issues with the unit. Im very happy with it.

I bought a hex 055 swimming pool heat pump in may, it heated just fine. It also is supposed to cool. When it’s in cooling mode it still heats. I’ve been trying to get service or even talk to someone for 4 days and crickets!!
Their service sucks!

I bought a 1 1/2 hp replacement for my Haywood pool pump. Installed it in about an hour, the installation was straightforward, plumbing was quick and clean, electrical was hard wired.
I am not a plumber or electrician.
Pump is so quiet, You will be amazed.
I Love it!!! Should have gotten the 3hp.

I purchased an Aquastrong HEX075 in October 2025. It has never worked properly. Four months ago it quit working completely. It is under warranty, and Aquastrong is doing nothing but telling me, "the parts are in the mail." They've emailed me bogus tracking numbers and nothing but excuses. Even the "promise" of new parts puts the onus on me to repair a heat pump. What do I know about heat pump repairs? This company is dishonest. Its product is bad. it doesn't honor its warranty. There are far better choices on the market

The sand pump keeps leaking no matter what I do have put a lot of money into the pump just because I have no receipt for it

Still have not received product. According to FedEx label was bad and had to be rerouted, relabeled, and then re-delivered. Sounds un-believable. Starting to think maybe it is fraud. We’ll see if it gets delivered today.

Needed a replacement. Quick response time. Quick delivery . I would recommend .

Very responsive to my request after wrong part was shipped by Amazon... I recommend ordering direct from this company.
