Know the risks of P2P and have been with assetz capital for quite a few years. Never expected to be stitched up in such an underhand way. Finally got to a time when I needed to withdraw investment for a house deposit, gave notice and then door slammed. No sign of ever getting money back and now got to take out a loan.How do they sleep at night.

Locked up money - no access, all lies.
you cant use them anyway given they are closing the retail arm.
good luck to anyone with money on the platform still. you're never getting it back

Assetz Capital is an awful, awful company. Their customer service is terrible.

Went into wind-down yesterday.

The Chairman and founder of the Assetz group of companies, "Mr Jaguar", as he's known in the industry, ONLY looks after the need to line his own pockets.

Assetz Capital have suddenly introduced huge new fees, which will slash the returns for investors.

Assetz Capital hasve left hundreds of loyal investors high and dry.

Avoid anything to do with the Assetz Group of Companies, including the very risky Assetz Exchange!

Highly opaque, disappointing peer to peer lending experience. Assetz constantly shifts the goalposts to the disadvantage of lenders, ie. the rules governing investments, access times, etc. There have been numerous defaults on highly risky lending with zero prospect of recovery, all of which erode the seemingly attractive headline rates of return. All in all a very untrustworthy company that gives P2P lending a bad name.

Manage funds:
Was looking at managing funds from ISA to standard and online chat "Wendy" was very helpful in taking me step by step via the co-browsing feature.

At the weekend I sent an email to Assetz with a query about an account, expecting a reply sometime this week. The very clearly stated reply arrived this morning, so I thought 'well done Assetz'. Needing further information I phoned the company up, getting through quickly. The lady that answered the call, Dawn, recognised my name, as it was her that sent the reply. Her assistance was exceptional, giving clear instructions and really knowing her way in the system. Wish that all my calls to various companies were always answered by someone like Dawn!

Had a number of queries that were handled very well by Wendy, via the chat service. Very quick to respond and resolved every query with a clear explanation.

I spoke to Wendy today, who was extremely pleasant and patient, plus she was a mine of information.

The Assetz platform and service today from Wendy was exceptional. It's a shame that the security offered on the platform means absolutely nothing. I have incurred huge losses on loans which were meant to be secured against property.

Great customer service and a very fast response, was able to solve my login issue very quickly

The person who answered my queries on the Live Chat today was extremely pleasant and helpful. My query was solved to my satisfaction in just a few minutes.

Assetz Capital is very good. It's the best P2P platform that I've ever used. You have ultimate control over your investments (I use MLA). The rates are amongst the highest on the market. You can sell and withdraw very fast.

The only downside, in my opinion is that the Assetz website needs a major update.

As usual, the staff at Assetz Capital were able to answer my questions quickly and precisely. Ben explained the ongoing situation with funds being invested and what had happened to the previously active investments. AC staff seem to answer the phone more quickly than most, and can explain in layman's terms how to work through the dashboard.

Spoke to Wendy - was on the phone for 30 minutes whilst she answered a bunch of my silly questions patiently. Invested £8k, with her. Hopefully I will see a return :)

Superb customer service, a really great product and service in the days when both are truly find to hard!

Utterly useless, dishonest and self-serving company. Many loans will go into default with the security taken always way below initial valuations come the time of realisation. AC will always charge maximum 'monitoring' fees and other fees for 'managing' defaulted loans. The directors and senior management are also arrogant and deeply unpleasant individuals.

I was dealt with by Dawn who explained everything clearly and guided me through the process I required smoothly.

I invested in Assetz Capital rather by chance by but it proved to be a good one. I received decent returns throughout the pandemic.
