Literally if you want somebody to take your money ATB is the bank to do it. Unfortunately life happens to be tough sometimes and when you need support or some grace don't expect it from ATB no matter how many years of loyalty. I thought since they were an alberta bank and there always saying they want to stand with albertans and help them succeed. Its not true

Someone hacked my online bank account and transfered themselves everything that was in my acct....whom ever did this had access to my user name and passcode... I didn't receive a text email or phone call with this code to enter in and it's turned on.... the bank refused to give me back my money stating that I did it or someone had my phone at 430 in the morning, when I got the email notification that an etransfer was made I callex the 1800 number letting them know that this transaction was not me. All they said was we have a claim opened.. I then called the fraud dept and they looked into it... but siad that bc someone used my login and passcode they couldn't do anything and it's up to the bank to refund my money... now they flat out refuse to return my funds.... so i will be going back to the police to have them look further into whom received the funds bc I didn't not send them.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING ATB BANK ELSE WHERE they are not there for the client and will point the fingers bank at you and pretty much tell u that u are lieing

We filed the appropriate legal documents for access to my Father’s account. We were locked out without any explanation. Absolutely no time line was given for access. We are suspected of fiduciary impropriety without any foundation!

No security on ATB Mastercard. They do not help with Fraudulent charges. Your money is not safe with ATB.

We are ATB customers for over 1 decade and we had ups and downs with them , they don't seems to hire people that like to work too much and are very knowledgeable , maybe their wages are not competitive so their employees have a place to call work.
We have a business and I like to have my monthly statement uploaded on the first of the month , and I requested that , they said it cant be done because it takes up to 4 days ? to have it. i said sure, not happy but what can I do ? And for a while it worked like that. This month it took 7 days to have my statement uploaded , I called they said it takes up to 7 days to have that done . I am not sure I understand these rules and regulations that are made on the spot 😕

Horrible customer service no humans, no one answers the phone. Everything is self service I’m removing my investment no customer service no customer!

They are absolutely horrific to deal with the people are slow at their jobs and they take a very long time to contact you when you have something that they said they would contact you about, they didn't give me any of the information I needed then kicked me off my banking they are a terrible service and if your thinking about your financial future anything is better than them!

I experienced very long wait times on their support line, and instead of providing assistance, the goal seemed to be to transfer my call elsewhere within the organization. I was transferred three times, only to be told that setting up online banking for my account wasn’t possible. Additionally, they claimed it would be “too difficult” to provide me with the missing statements for my account due to a mail strike, suggesting I “might try the branch” instead. When I asked if they could follow-up with the branch, I was told that was not part of their role. This all happened after an hour of waiting. Truly disappointing.

This bank is terrible which is a shame since I want to support local credit unions. They are very behind the times in the banking world. They only recently added the "lock my card" feature which most other banks have been doing for quite some time.

They also just added a completely unnecessary "passcode key" which is an extra step to verify your identity which you set up once but each time you need to click on it and then takes you to the face id and then logs you in. I asked them to remove and they said it's part of their upgraded security??? Much bigger and mulit national banks don't do this. They think they are leading the pack but they are way behind. I have to finish paying of my line of credit and then I will be leaving them.

NO cooperative agents ..long wait times on the phone very rude customer agents ...hangs up on clients. Does not honor their word.

Horrible horrible bank to deal with. Charged me $20 for monthly fees went to close it a week later and another 30 something to close my account.🤬🤬🤬🤬

Don’t save nor subscribe to this bank.
Equity from sale of our property refusing to release to us.
Sold up in Calgary to return to UK and they refuse to release our money ( transfer to UK)
Ombudsman advised and doing nothing on exchange rate alone we ( if money released tomorrow) loosing over a 1/3 rd of our money.

STAY WELL AWAY - if with them get your money away from them ASAP ( if you can).

I had an appointment to set up a new business account. I was on time, prepared and ready to go. My contact was not. They did not arrive at all, and to this point I have yet to receive any contact from them. Very unimpressed, and will NEVER be a customer with this bank.

To management: If it's so difficult for your staff to keep track of a schedule, how can I possibly trust them to help me keep track of my finances?

This is one of the worst banks to deal with, I have been thier customer for 6 years now, I was short 10 dollars for my mortgage payments and they returned my cheque. No wonder why they have such a low rating on their reviews. Just a suggestion to ceos of atb if you don't water your garden it won't produce fruits for you.

Don't use it, you will lose everything. Stay safe out there these people aren't joking. Glad I am into future-wise easy heavy.

I only give this bank one star because I am unable to get them zero Stars.
My bank account was hacked and it is now November 29 of 2024, and the fraud department released all information in August 19 of 2024 and I was not notified of any changes. They are refusing to replace my money even though they assured me at the beginning of my opening of the accounts That my money was protected. It may be only $2700 but to a single dad of two kids that money is very important to me.
This bank cannot be trusted

Terrible business

I don’t know how this company considers themselves legitimate whatsoever. Literally nothing good about “ATB Financial” - stay away from them, the fact that I’ve been paying monthly fees for their terrible service for 6 months now is embarrassing.
