I waited for an hour and a half, standing in line, just to get a number for my appointment. The queue was not even long. The main problem was the extremely slow service, with the employee also serving people who were not even waiting in line.

To make matters worse, the employee simply left their desk for around 30 minutes, leaving everyone standing and waiting with no explanation.

And unfortunately, getting a number is only the beginning. After waiting all that time to get the number, you then have to wait for roughly the same amount of time again before you are actually called for your appointment.

And after all that waiting, I was simply told to come back tomorrow.

This is an incredibly inefficient and frustrating way to serve customers. Waiting for hours for a basic bank appointment, especially when the queue is not long, is simply unacceptable.

Very poor organization and customer service. I would not recommend this branch.

Muito bom banco ajudaram muitos imigrantes em portugal e so este banco que aceitou abrir conta sem cartão de residencia, se ficava cheio porque pessoas dormia na porta de banco para abrir conta. pessoas são jovem e professional, o pessoas analfabeto primero desfrutam depois reclamam, mas pronto eu do 5 estrela...

Não recomendo este banco roubado muito dinheiro descontão muito.

One of the worst bank to work with in Portugal, this bank close customers account without giving any prior notice. I recently received money into my Atlantico Account, the bank asked about the fund origin, i provided the documentation and without even say anything. They closed my account

Um buraco!!! Não ponham aqui o vosso dinheiro - são ladrões . A mim levaram-me 12 mil euros

O pior banco que existe. Burocracia no atendimento de renovação do cartão multibanco, PÉSSIMO atendimento, funcionários arrogantes e pouco profissionais que até parecem estagiários… Não indico este banco é HORRÍVEL!!!!

Esse banco por mim não deveria existir todos os trabalhadores são arrogantes, fiz o processo de minha conta enviei duas declarações da minha empresa e logo eles disseram que infringir a cláusula 5 e que nunca mais poderei abrir conta isso é absurdo não aconselho ninguém abrir conta ali

Foram 10mil euros no total perdidos e eles não querem me reembolsar, não aconselho a usarem essa farsa de banco, não aconselho a usarem , esses são ladrões

A fine Portugese bank. Online process for applying for a bank account can be opened fully online from elswhere in Europe.
Takes less than 1 week to be actived if you are accepted, and get a working bank account.

Transferi o dinheiro para a conta para realizar a abertura, já tem uma semana e nem o dinheiro entra na conta e nem a conta está aberta, só enrolam quando eu ligo, espero ao menos ter meu dinheiro de volta ou vou procurar um advogado! Não indico este banco

Poor customer service.
Impossible to handle simple requests like get a proof of IBAN or change your contact details.

Have now been waiting more than 2 weeks to change the mobile number associated with my account.

Quem conseguir abrir conta online e um felizardo! Liga se pra lá e é o caos

Há uns anos atrás, após abertura de uma conta, transferi um montante que levou 5 dias úteis a creditar. No mesmo dia, retiro o montante para a conta origem, contactando o Banco para o encerramento da conta, dando a respetiva justificação. Resposta rápida e clara: o cancelamento é automático ao fim de dois anos, numa conta inativa e a zero euros.
Passado 5 anos, a conta continua ativa e com valor de dívida a ultrapassar os 100 euros. Portanto, o Banco agiu de má fé, não tendo efetuado o cancelamento automático tal como comunicado telefonicamente, apresentando dívidas ao cliente, pelas sucessivas manutenções de conta mensais.

Just spent 40 minutes trying to open a bank account. After uploading all my documents and filling in all the forms the process fails on the last hurdle which is video authentication. The operator never responded to the call.

Estou já quase a 2 meses na etapa de esperar um atendente para fazer avalia das minhas informações via vídeo chamada e fico horas esperando e ninguém aparece.

I finished the process of "account opening" 2 weeks ago, and I still haven´t received my IBAN, if you contact them they just close the chat or say "YOU HAVE TO WAIT", there is this guy Junior something in the support channel that have no clue about anything, I don´t even want to think how is like once the accoount is open,

Cannot even open an account. They say it "takes 20 minutes" but I have been trying for 5 hours now. The final video authentication just does not work. They cannot hear me. Lately I cannot hear them. Then they cut me off and I queue for another hour. I tried ringing and emailing and nobody can explain what is going on. This is SOOOO FRUSTRATING.

Avoid at all costs. Admin is terrible. Pricing is constantly changing. They've unduly blacklisted me on the whole financial sector for a membership fee of a credit card which I have never received nor activated. Despite my best efforts, they can't fix the mistake. Total incompetence and this is causing my problems with other banks! I've been trying to close my account with them, but they can't even manage to do that.
