Atlantic Renewables Reviews

Could not be happier with the product, installation, and after care sales and support.
Great company and very knowledgeable from all the staff in their respective areas. The support since installation has also been of high quality, with quick responses either via phone, email, video links.
Would highly recommend

I’ve dealt with plenty of traders in the past, but Atlantic Renewables really stood out. They guided me patiently from my unsure early days right through to choosing the right system and installing the panels and battery. They’re competitive on price, but what really impressed me was the quality of their work. I’d happily recommend them, and honestly wish they covered even more services 😊

Overall very happy with the solar and battery system installed by Atlantic Renewables at my house in Bowdon. I went with AR because they were local and had good reviews. Installation team were very good. Bit of a wobble when they said it would cost extra for slate replacement, but eventually this wasn't charged for. Since installation it's worked perfectly, using the Sigen AI system and Octopus Flux. Over the summer I've hardly paid anything for electricity e.g. generated 534kwh in July. Sigen refills the battery overnight and exports to the grid at peak times. I'm delighted that our house is now a bit more energy secure, although I wish I'd gone for an uninterruptible supply in case the mains power goes off. That's the only thing I would now add to the system. I got a charging point installed and have just bought an electric car.

We recently had x15 Longi 480w solar panels, battery and EV charger with Atlantic. We also had our roof done beforehand with Atlantic Renewables as the roof was on the older side. Dean and the team were amazing throughout. Any issues were resolved quickly, the cable management was on point, everything was explained and if you needed any extra information the team happily provided this. I would highly recommend the company.

Our Solar Panel installation from Atlantic Renewal from start to finish has been an excellent experience. All installers have been a pleasure too communicate with and everything clearly explained and clarified at each stage. Prompt responses and highly professional working standards during installation. Great teamship. I would recommend as not only well qualified but reliable and efficient to use.

Atlantic renewables installed my solar system and then EV charging point several years ago. It has always worked perfectly and any time I have any questions or have asked for help with admin issues they have been quick to respond and always sorted everything out. In my experience, this is an excellent company!

I only got quotations from Which? recommended traders and Atlantic Renewables responded the quickest, provided the most comprehensive information and the most competitive quotation. Queries were dealt with equally fast. The 27 page Project Report showed the likely production over the year, estimated pay-back time, net present value, internal rate of return, and enough technical calculations to keep the thirstiest data hound satisfied! The handover pack was equally comprehensive.
All staff (initial phone conversation, site survey, installation team, and e-mail queries) were polite, friendly, professional and competent. Reusable dust sheets were put down to cover the carpets during internal work and staff always removed their boots when entering other areas of the house. They cleaned up inside and out at the end of each day. It was a smooth process from beginning to end.
The only glitch was that, having agreed to the installation starting a week early, because of a postponement, the electrician was not available to complete the job until a week later than scheduled. Well worth the wait, which didn’t affect me otherwise.
So, if you want an excellent system from an excellent company, use Atlantic Renewables!

Had an EV charging point installed and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Special thanks to Connor, who did a fantastic job! Professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The installation was neat and completed to a high standard and he took the time to explain everything clearly before leaving. Really pleased with the service and would definitely recommend!!

From the survey to completion the team were clear and concise on what was needed to install and to operate. Time lines were adhered to and disruption was kept to a a minimum. The electricians were well mannered and were very tidy. Throughout the process the lead electrician kept me informed and provided clear instruction at the end. I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent Service from start to finish with great communication throughout the project to remove our solar panel system to allow the replacement of roof tiles. On completion Atlantic Renewables were back on site to reinstall the solar panel system on the new roof. A friendly and professional service throughout.

Very professional and efficient . On the inspection/ maintenance visit , gave the impression they knew what they were doing and made some useful suggestions . Good outfit.

They answer the telephone in person and quite rapidly...no waiting and listening to terrible music! They are local to me ( big plus) and gave good technical advice. The installation of batteries was done on time and efficiently with good communication about how best to use them. Connor the team leader was especially helpful.

Great service every step of the way along our Solar Power journey.
No pressure to buy from the sales team compared to the numerous other companies we got quotes from.
We would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for solar panels and batteries.

Having started our enquiries about solar panels a couple of years ago, we decided to give it another go! We had quotes from 3 companies a well known corporate delving into solar, an established local company and Atlantic Renewables. At first we didn’t think we’d use Atlantic but then I received the follow up call. Compared to others they were reassuring, confident and professional. They discussed with us the project, no hard sell, no cheap as chips sales. Told us what they would do and how they would do it and what it would cost. A professional, efficient and great company to deal with. We are really pleased in with the fitting of our solar panels, they look great on our old Victorian terraced house. The wiring has been well thought out and is tidy. Thank you Atlantic Renewables we can highly recommend you! 👍

Atlantic Renewables were exceptional from start to finish

Great proposal
Great staff
Great delivery
Great handover

Honestly I was well impressed.

A team of 10+ people came to site and swiftly installed the system to an exceptional standard.

I would not hesitate to recommend Atlantic Renewables.

Fantastic job and really pleasant people to work with!

First used Atlantic Renewables a year ago to install solar panels.
All the larger companies I approached weren’t interested as my roof was complex.
Atlantic installed 12 panels on various elevations. The company certainly took care with the installation and kept me informed throughout the process.
I returned to Atlantic for a battery which was installed with the same attention to detail as the panels.
I highly recommend the company 😀

Atlantic were strongly recommended by a neighbour and I'm delighted to say that they exceeded my expectations.

The team provided advice and support every step of the way from designing a system which incorporates some of best equipment available on the market, to the installation of 12 Aiko panels and a 13.5kw GivEnergy battery. The Atlantic approach was a breath of fresh air compared to the pushy sales tactics employed by other companies we asked to quote, and their price was competitive. Jack provided detailed factual information to support the financial calculations in the tailored information pack and was happy to provide further iterations of the numbers based on alternative assumptions.

Communication with Atlantic was exemplary throughout, with same day responses to emails and phone calls. The installation team arrived on time and could not have been more considerate, professional and helpful. All of our requests for siting equipment were accommodated and the work was completed to a very high standard.

One major concern I had when going ahead with the installation was whether our 150 year old slate roof would need attention. Atlantic replaced slipped tiles located under the panels as part of the installation and took extensive photographs to identify where maintenance was needed elsewhere. Atlantic was originally a roofing company before they specialised in solar and undertook this work after the installation was done whilst the property was scaffolded. Drone footage taken on completion of the work confirms that the roof now looks in great condition to meet the winter storms.

In short, if you are looking to have a solar and battery system installed in the Manchester area make sure that you ask Atlantic Renewables to quote. They are a knowledgeable and professional company who are a pleasure to work with and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Had a 3x powerwall 3 system and 21 Aiko panels installed recently and the process was smooth all the way through. I made a few requests and all were accommodated with no fuss, reports sent / modified each time I wanted to alter the project. Left them pretty much to it and it all went well.

A few roof tiles were damaged by the scaffolding (I was pre-warned this may happen,) but were quickly fixed when the scaffolding was out of the way.

I would absolutely recommend Atlantic renewables.

Handover documents received promptly on completion of the install.

Just got onto the octopus export tariff (15p per kwh) and combined with the overnight charging (40.5kw at 7p per kw), I have eliminated my electricity bill & with the Model Y, no longer have to go to the petrol station! Exported 19kwh yesterday on my fist full day. (Solar & unused battery), It was raining for at least 50% of the day.

If you are looking for a solar and battery install contact Atlantic Renewables. From the first meeting with Dean, there was no pushy sales, just factual information and the options available to us. A very helpful home specific info pack, with photos and option was created. This pack contained all the info we needed to make a considered decision.

In my experience good business is all about communication with customers. Atlantic Renewables excelled in this area. We were kept up to date during the entire process. The scaffold was arranged and completed very neatly.

On installation day, the team arrived exactly at the time agreed. Discussed the next two days of activities with us so we would be clear what to expect. The team immediately got work. The craftsmanship was exemplary. They were obviously all well trained, courteous and treated our home with the uttermost respect. Our system was operational at the end of day 2. Thd handover process was top notch and I can safely say I know how the system works.

In summary if you want a solar battery system installed by the professionals, call Atlantic Renewables.

This is a late entry on Trustpilot but it is totally genuine. Atlantic renewables installed my Solar inverter and battery system in 2022 replacing an incompatible inverter EE had installed.
The lads from Atlantic renewables were very professional and installed the equipment in a day. The system worked brilliantly until my broadband went down and the inverter would not re connect to the internet. The office team Jason and his team were brilliant in getting a replacement data longer from Fox ess ensuring it reconnected to the internet for monitoring the system on my phone app.
It is important when choosing a company to fit equipment that not only are they good at fitting it but provide excellent after sales service.
I can say without hesitation Atlantic renewables are one of these companies and I recommend.
