Atlas Debt Relief Reviews 

This is the first of ten debts that Atlas is settling on my behalf. Though I am very happy that things are starting to move forward, I am disappointed that there is not better communication. The only time there is communication is when I reach out to them for status of my account. I would have given five stars if it weren't for that issue.

Customer service was excellent, helped me, explained to me all my questions and very patient/nice to me from the start of our conversation ‘til the end. How I wish all the staff in the customer service is like her.

I have been 100% misled by this company. They indicated that it would be 6 months to see my program working. I paid 13 months over $430 and nothing... So I closed my account on 4/15/24. I was told that the funds would be sent back to the bank account it was drawn from in 10 business days. I called Monday last week, and the rep told me that the 10 business would fall on that day and the funds should appear in my account no later than 5-3-24... "If not, please call us back". It didn't so I called back today and was told that GHLLC had not closed my account and that it may take up to 30 days for my account to be closed and since the funds were over $5k, they would be mailing a check after 30 days. I requested to speak to a Supervisor, who was very kind and said she is going to reach out directly to GHLLC to see if they can expedite this situation. She said she would call me with an answer after she reached out to them... I will update when I hear back from the Supervisor.

UPDATE: I was supposed to receive a call back two days ago. I still have not received the call back.

They did exactly what they said they were gonna do. It has so far been a no hassle and a virtually hands off experience. I am both grateful and appreciative!

It has helped take away most of my stress. I put my troubles in there hands and they are taking care of me.

waiting to see overall results

It was explained to me that my credit score would drop, but it wasn’t explained that it would plummet and that I would have charge offs and collections now added to my credit which won’t clear for seven years. I also thought that making contact with the creditors would’ve happened sooner so the phone calls, letters and knocks on my doors would not be happening still after you have collected 7 payments of over $500 from me. After seven months, only one of the creditors has an agreement everything else still shows as pre-settlement.

Any questions that I had were courteously answered in a way easy to understand. I thought this would be a confusing situation but your representatives made it very clear of the procedure. They are very polite and go the extra mile to assist!

Great service, they respond immediately to My doubt

I have a similar story as below. I was assured by rep Brandon that since only one creditor my debt would be handled in six months I am now well over a year in. No contact from Atlas. Creditor has no access to my bank accounts. After a year in, and payments of well over 400$/ a month.I call atlas monthly and all they can tell me is that I should be receiving a settlement offer shortly. No information of when they reached out to the creditor given by Atlas. This has occurred the last 4 months I called.

At the beginning we were told by your representative (Brandon)that our debt would be taken care of within 6 months. You have only taken care of one account.

I feel that in the beginning, It was not explained very clearly how long it would be until you started working with my creditors. It wasn't until after I signed the documents, that further timelines were explained to me.

Atlas debt relief did negotiate a great settlement on the highest debt. I look forward to getting the rest settled.

Atlas did not honor their word. They let me pay in for 7 months and never settled anything. Now I am stuck with a credit score almost 200 points lower than when I started. Big mistake. Steer clear of Atlas. They are bogus.
