After trying uncomfortable national health hearings aids for four months I returned to Hidden Hearing where Shaun fitted me with the latest hearing aids. They are comfortable almost invisible and sound quality is superb and natural. I am enjoying listening to music again.

The whole experience was excellent. Everything was explained very well, so that I could understood why the tests were being done. I felt very comfortable and at ease and would highly recommend this to anyone who had concerns about their hearing.

The hearing examination was comprehensive, thorough
and explained in great detail. However, I was a little surprised when the price of almost £4k for chargeable hearing aids was disclosed! Having said that, I am sure that the hearing aids are of the best quality after trying them.

Friendly reception,immediatly put at ease. Friendly discussion with both myself and my wife about my hearing/deafness and the necessary steps to deal with the problem.

Having worn NHS and off the shelf aid for several years, took the plunge to have a checkup and see if things could be improved.
Had a great initial appointment with Shaun and it was clear that I was going to be looking at not only the known issue on one side but deterioration on the other side. Had the demo of what was possible with Oticon Intent, took the plunge... Best decision ever.
Have had a checkup after the first week of wearing today minor tweaks made but they have literally changed my life.
Yes should have done it sooner.
Shaun was and is brilliant talking through everything with a manner that is a joy. Everyone at the branch are lovely. Have a month now of intense workout for them and another follow up in the New Year.
Looking forward to 2025 and hearing more than I have in the last few years.

Shaun always provides a great service. He is friendly, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything really clearly. I have no hesitation in recommending him to all my friends.

This morning I had a problem with my hearing aids and I contacted Hidden Hearing Barnstaple.My call was dealt with by Sharon in a very helpful reassuring and professional manner and told me that if I went in to their shop that they would try to sort my problem out as soon as possible
I traveled in and was met by Sharon who attempted to sort out the problem until the dispenser Shaun became available.
Shaun then took over and gave my problem his utmost attention overalling and replacing worn components.
His attitude was very pleasant and professional and he took time to explain to me various aspects I had not been aware of.
I am pleased to commend them both for their friendly and professional attitude.

Been to a couple of clinicians, where they needed a Personality implant.
Not the case here. Here the clinician went all out to make me feel at ease and carried out the job professionally whilst involving me at each step.thank you

I had been having concerns over a potential developing hearing loss and sought advice from hidden hearing in Barnstaple. I met Shaun who was fantastic being knowledgeable, patient and thorough in diagnosing, reviewing and fitting an in-ear device. Over a period of a few months Shaun trialled different programming set ups to try to help with my “cookie bite” hearing loss (which he explained meant I could hear well both high and low frequencies but was struggling with the middle ‘speech’ frequencies). Unfortunately I couldn’t quite get on with the ‘in ear’ device and it was clear actually as Shaun had initially recommended, an over ear device was really going to be the best solution to help but one which I wasn’t quite ready for. Shaun was completely understanding and fully refunded the cost of the hearing aid purchase to give me some time and space to consider what to do. For anyone in North Devon looking for some help with a hearing loss, Hidden Hearing in Barnstaple is definitely where I would start.

Very good service. Attentive and understanding of my problems with aids from previous suppliers. Supplied me with an excellent pair of aids. Probably the best I have had in 30 years of hearing difficulties, but worth every penny. Do not expect the sort of reduced prices you would get from Specsavers or Boots but you do get what you pay for.

I again was seen straight away. Very kind people and explained my hearing to me again. I do not remember information well. And they never get cross but just remind me gently.
Exceptional service.

After having experienced bad aftercare service from Amplifon, I was very wary of going somewhere new. I went for a few free hearing consultations to different places and any previous concerns I had were put to rest when I had my test with Shaun. The other places I went to put a price on my hearing by telling me the more I spend the better my hearing aids. This made me feel guilty for not being able to afford the dearest one. This was not the case at all with Shaun, he gave me a thorough consultation and recommended the perfect hearing aids to suit me personally. 2 weeks on and I am thrilled with them. Shaun is very professional and his experience and knowledge shines through, he understands the difficulties and stresses of hearing loss. Thank you Shaun and team for helping me, I highly recommend Hidden Hearing in Barnstaple to anyone with hearing loss, you won’t be disappointed.

Friendly and professional staff

Shaun makes us feel understood in the realm of hearing loss. He is so calm and appreciative of the difficulties that the deaf person and their spouse deal with on a daily basis. This seems rare in society. His professionalism and efficiency is brilliant. He is caring and addresses the needs of his client.
The receptionist has always dealt with us so well, whether on the phone or in person. She is not only courteous and kind but she is cheerful when we contact her or attend the clinic. She is also very helpful and efficient.
They run an excellent service.

Welcoming attention.Considerate attention throughout my visit.Whilst I was surprised by the cost of the hearing aids,I was not pressurised into buying and will look into possible finance.

Had my annual hearing check, Sharon welcomed me in and made me a cup of tea, very nice.
