I wrote a detailed review and it did not get published! Why?
Scam and dishonesty. I did not realized I "sign up" after the trial period and ended up paying for one book about $170 (I was away for some month). As I said I listed all that in a previous review.
When I communicated to the company NO RESPONSE WHAT SO EVER. Chat was ended as soon as I stated the problem. Be careful. I would not recommend them.

I wanted to sign up for 30 day free trial and they immediately charged 15 dollars, thankfully my bank blocked the payment because of suspicious activity. I saw in a different review that they apparently "confirm the bank details this way and give the money back in a few days" but that is not how it works. When services do this, they usually take a very small amount of money and almost immediately give it back, so I find this behaviour very scammy. Maybe if you don't immediately complain to customer service they don't even give it back.

I saw an audio book I wanted to gift to my partner who is confined to bed for a week. It seemed like a reasonable service from its website. Can I gift a book? Yes I can. Can I gift a subscription for just a month? Yes I can. So I did. What I got was a subscription and a 3 min intro to the book! When I complained and asked for refund by email I received no reply and no refund. I feel cheated.

I'd give these buggers a wide berth if I were you. It's a subscription entrapment at best.

Customer Service is really bad. In the middle of our phone conversation he said 'I could call back another time' and ended the phone call. Whilst I was still trying to speak to him politely.

Doubt I'll be using them... There's anyways others apps and websites out there.

It’s a scam! They tell you to try the free trial, and when you create your account you have to add your credit card details, and they charge you instantly $14.95, they will charge you every month because you cannot close the subscription! Don’t give them your bank details.

They advertise "Free Shipping" but do not ship anything. They only sell digital audiobooks so I do not appreciate the bait and switch.

FRAUD. SCAM. BEWARE. Took money from my account for a year… I hadn’t heard of them, signed up with them or listened to a book.

Scam - I though I was on a free trial, and that I afterwards had ended the subscription - but they kept charging my card, and I only just now notivces - I have been charges every month for the past 9 months...... Cant recommend.

I thought I had 30 day free trial, but suddenly they charged my credit card for over 14 € just for one audiobook. This is a complete scam.

The free trial is 30 days with one credit. Then £7.99 a month. So the same as Audible. They claim that you can get two free books from the VIP section but the selection seems really poor with a lot of Librivox titles (which you can get for nothing anyway).

The app is a bit confusing and needs to be cleaned up. First thing any user should do is go to settings and untick "use beta player". It muffles the sound quality and the default one is much better.

The website is hard to use. Apparently you can get extra content by joining "clubs".

I don't think I'll keep this once the free trial is over

I was charged immediately for a 30 day free trial. What a scam!
Now I’ve got to go through a lengthy process of disputing the claim with my bank, and might even have to cancel my card considering the other reviews claiming they charge your card months after cancelling your subscription.

To top it all off, I couldn’t even listen to the book that I originally subscribed for because it was “not available in my region”, which wasn’t advertised prior or when I was listening to the sample.

I didn’t even bother using the free credit because they have a pretty limited selection of books.

These are online thieves, fraudsters. They charged my card for over one year and I never sign up with them. I never read any books from them, never used the service. I'm requesting refund, already contacted them 4 times but they just ignoring.

DO NOT USE THEM! they take you mooney even tho you have never heard or used them before!

They force you to use their app otherwise you can't download any of the books that you allegedly own

They have charged me for months after I cancelled my subscription. (I even had the cancellation email to prove I cancelled and they still did not refund me.) Terrible service, really awful customer experience.

Trying out alternatives to audible, quite happy so far.

Happy with this service. Good selection.

I listen to very good novels while I'm at work or riding the bus. A top-notch app.
