Like similar reviews, I cancelled subscription at end of 7 day trial in September 2025.
Despite receiving an email outlining ‘we're sorry to see you go’, they proceeded to charge an annual fee .
After a couple of emails i have now been refunded both payments satisfactorily.

my therapist recommended this app to me and it has been such a help with my day to day issues. I now fall asleep so fast and if I do wake up, I just turn over hit the app and back to sleep in minutes So many options to chose from and the wake up and start your day is also so refreshing .

I have loved aura. I have been using it for over 5 years and truly love the sessions they have available. The lives and coaching options have enhanced my experience incredibly. The two times I've had an issue, I emailed their support and it had been resolved within 24 hours. This team genuinely cares about their supporters. There are features that others have that aura would benefit from implementing, but overall, I have been very happy with the application.

Aura has been such a wonderful and comforting app for me. The meditations, sleep stories, and calming exercises have helped me relax, sleep better, and feel more at peace during difficult moments. I love that the app personalizes its recommendations and always seems to have something that fits exactly what I need that day. Like many others I cancelled my subscription and they have STILL TAKEN MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I thought it had been resolved last year and then I saw this week they took money out again! I don’t understand the positive reviews.. it’s baffling

I don’t ever do reviews, but I have to say I honestly love this app. I have been using it nightly for over 2 years now. There is nothing else like it. The meditations are top notch, done by professionals of all sorts. No soulless AI here. If you need a boost to your meditation practice, or just something to help you relax into a deep sleep, this resource is indispensable. I don’t know what I would do without it. Thank you, Aura for your amazing service. I look forward to many more years with you!

Aura has been a game changer for me. I wish it had been available long ago when my struggle to sleep could be so debilitating and life was so busy and anxiety too prevalent.

There is so much available on Aura to choose from in the form of hypnosis, guided meditation, healing music, stories, coaching and therapy. There are many presenters each with their own style and focus and all are intended for healing and improving how we live. It’s been so easy to find what works for me.

I have created several personal playlists to address different issues from eating well/health management and exercise motivation (I wish I’d had that long ago too) to anxiety relief, chronic pain relief and healing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, dealing with difficult emotions, and waking up and starting the day grounded and peaceful. Some playlists are more fun and expansive such as lucid dreaming, but sleep focused as well. Playlists can last for hours for nighttime sleep, or I can just do a quick meditation or hypnosis or coaching during the day and feel revived or calmed or grounded.

It has all been so effective it has really been a bit of a life saver for me. I have tried two other similar programs, but this is the one I kept and stayed with, I think I like it best because it offers the most variety and the level of my involvement with the resources can range from passive to active, however I choose.

I’ve had absolutely no issues or problems with the program or app. In fact it’s been so seamless and not invasive I have come to take it a bit for granted.

I hope Aura is here for my enjoyment (and relief) for a very long time! And I sincerely hope others can discover and benefit from it as well.

Incredible website !!!! The number of presenters and subjects are amazing !!!! Definitely something for everyone !!!!!! Customer services the best !!!!!!! Spot on !!!!!!! I signed up for a free trial today and immediately realized I want to cancel. I cancelled through the app itself (which says my subscription has an expiration date) and emailed customer service. I have not received confirmation that my subscription was cancelled and want to make sure it won't renew. Trying to go to the website makes you sign up for a new free trial. This is a SCAM....

I downloaded the Aura app a couple years ago, and it completely improved how quickly my husband and I fall asleep. We have become "addicted" to Jiva Masheder's voice reading us bedtime stories. We listen to her only, after trying out several narrators (who were excellent). We are loyal Jiva listeners. Her soothing, slightly scratchy, melodious voice removes the day's stressors. We don't think we could fall asleep without her.

I have been using Aura for quite a while now, mostly for sleep support… but there is literally something for everyone.

I would like to see more flexibility around customizing the sounds that continue after a story, meditation, coaching session, etc.

It would also be interesting to see some interactive engagement opportunities… sometimes those really help my busy mind calm down and gently refocus.

I begin EVERY morning with AURA without fail. The meditation guides are like trusted friends who gently guide me into my day.I have used the sound backgrounds at night while we sleep. The hypnosis tracts are gentle on my mind and helpful, the sonic healing vibes are my prayer background. If you are new to meditation or experienced there is something for you here. Daniel H

Aura was really easy to use and super simple to set up! There was always somthing new to try out and help. And it was really responsive to all the different needs!

I have been using Aura for a couple of years and find it very helpful in my falling asleep by helping to calm my mind and relax. I started out with the hypnosis coaches for about a year and then started using meditation.
I wish I knew of this app when I was working seven days a week and was sleep deprived. I am retired and of course my mind is not busy thinking of work or life issues but I am grateful for Aura.

This company is not responsive to emails and continued to bill me for a service I did not receive on their APP which is glitchy and stopped working conveniently after the free trial. Now trying to battle with them via PayPal. Save yourself a headache and find another app which is legit. I like Tapping Meditation better from the Ortners who are legit.

I was in a work related accident in 2018, I suffered many physical injuries and a brain injury. I was diagnosed with PTSD. I have been using Aura since 2018 and it’s been one of my major tools in my toolbox to support my mental health. I am very grateful for the Aura app and its many coaches. Aura has been a Godsend for me, and I will always continue to use it.

I have been training with Laura for the past 7 months. Her commitment to her clients is just fantastic, she truly cares about your progress. Strength training at 63 years of age. I have reduced my weight and gained muscle and my strength is fantastic. Laura makes it easy to complete the challenges she’s gives you, always guiding you in the correct form. The challenges she organises outside of the gym also lets you meet new people and enjoy the experience of exercising. She goes way above and beyond. I can’t recommend Aura enough.
