New Aveeno smells really bad. Thought it was just me but seeing similar reviews so it’s definitely the product. Not good for my 12 month old so had to throw it away.

Purchased December 2024, Jan 2025 and Feb 2025 - each time the bottle smells like chemicals. What has happened to the formula?? Avoid. Greedy Kenvue owner company making millions but now delivering a subpar product. Have had to buy Aqua emollient instead.

Long time aveeno hand cream here!
Have been suffering with my sore hands this winter and couldn't understand why.
Came across an old, unopened bottle of aveeno hand cream and now I understand why. They have changed their formula! The old stuff is waaaaaaaay better than the new stuff, have been going through the new stuff quickly as now seems thin and ineffective (almost to the point of aggravating my skin!) The old stuff feels much more silky and soothes as soon as it goes on, and is absorbed much more easily.
Shame on you aveeno

With so many complaints online now about the so called new formula aveeno why are the company not admitting that they have made a massive mistake by tampering with a once fantastic product. Their sales must have plummeted world wide. All they do if you complain is offer you a refund if you can send them a receipt. Who keeps receipts these days .

They changed the formula of the blue top "intense moisturiser". This was the only cream that I could use without my eyes flaring up. Now it BURNS and stings my face and skin around my eyes. Please revert the formula. There are so many comments online about this change also burning other people.

My 4 month old baby got severe allergic reaction after using their bath and wash and also their shampoo. She got rash all over her body.

I am a young person with normal skin. I recently bought an Aveeno cleanser, and it burnt my skin. My face went red, and it was very painful.

I would not recommend this product, because the formula does not feel nice, and it also hurts skin. This was one experience, and I am not going to purchase Aveeno again.

Altogether, even for perfectly regular skin, with no skin conditions or sensitive skin, it is not a great product.

I am a 53 year old female who developed severe psoriasis after going through early menopause. I have tried lots of creams and even steroids to help as I have plaques and scales on 45% of my body I purchased Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient YESTERDAY my first use and felt relief in minutes last night was the first full nights sleep I did not wake up scratching and bleeding from my scratching in my sleep. This morning after my shower I noticed a slight change in all my spots already feeling calmer. I will be purchasing this product in bulk. #iloveaveeno

I have relied on Aveeno for over 10 years as everything else made my skin flare up. The new formula (for all of their lines not just the green lid - I’ve experimented hoping there was an alternative) doesn’t just disagree with my skin - it BURNS. Under my eyes have been swollen and itchy since using and I’ve had to go cold Turkey which feels only marginally better. I am disgusted by this brand’s disregard for its customers.

I don't know happened to the dispenser design, either the pump or perhaps it's even the viscosity of the lotion, but over the last year EVERY SINGLE BOTTLE of Aveeno Body lotion stops dispensing about 2/3rd of the way through the bottle. That did not happen previously. I will stop buying this product until they correct this defect.

I am new to aveeno and I can tell you that this product is awful! I wish I read the reviews before I bought the body wash. It says for dry skin but the longer I use it the worse my skin gets. Terrible! Do not recommend!

After the changes now aveeno makes my skin worst. Lotion makes my skin itchy and dry after application. And shampoo makes my head itchy and if touches my skin it gives me a bunch of break out. I used to trust aveeno but now the bulk I ordered I cant even use. I tried other product and the itchiness went away and then i tried one more time to use it with the aveeno and the itchiness and breakout came back so I cant use it anymore. . What a waste of money.

Terrible. They changed the formula and those of us with sensitive skin raged at them but they have ignored us all and clearly placed profits over customer care. Shame on you for selling a skin condition product with no thought or care for those who suffer from skin condition.
Give us back our proper Aveeno.

I recently purchased 4 x 500ml plastic pump action bottles of Aveeno Moisturising Cream.
Only 1 out of the 4 dispensed the Aveeno Moisturising Cream.
The pump action style of the bottle has changed, I never had any previous problems with the old style pump action bottles.
When I phoned the Aveeno queries/complaints phone number, I hoped I would hear that some positive action about this problem would be taken.
Apparently other people had had problems with the new style pump bottle, I assume not dispensing the Moisturising Cream correctly.
It’s a pity that Aveeno don’t give this product in Pump Action Bottles that work.
A refund is the last thing I need, I require a product that is fit for purpose.
3 out of 4 Pump Action Bottles are not fit for purpose but it seems Aveeno are prepared to do nothing but offer you a refund.
That DOES NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM caused by this new style pump bottle, it has an arrowed collar under the dispensing spout, and is not effective at all, Aveeno will lose revenue and customers because of this and they seem prepared to do that.

Not good, burns the skin and causes itchiness.

I have used Aveeno lotion for my whole body and body wash for many years. My 80 year old mother would not have any other lotion but that so I started using it. Soft skin & hands. I've got my coworkers using it at work. They're nurse's. I love it with 1 exception. The pump doesn't reach the last couple of inches in the bottle! So annoying. I empty it onto a jar & use it all. Common Aveeno, let use it all from the bottle qoth a better design. 😉

I tried Aveeno body wash for my ancient dry skin. It made my feet go very scaly with patches of dry skin falling off. Even making sure my feet were thoroughly rinsed in the shower didn’t help. Awful stuff.

Aveeno dark blue cap (old formula)- I used this on my 9 year old son since he was a baby. The only cream in the market to work on his eczema. Over the years doctors had prescribed many pharmaceutical products. However, nothing worked. When I discovered Aveeno dark blue cap it changed my son's life. His skin was no longer itchy or inflamed.

Recently, the formula has been changed and the product is unfoetunately no longer effective. In fact, my son says it burns his skin and it is very painful. His skin flares up. I had to convinced my son to keep trying it for a few days. After a week, my son's eczema had deteriorated so badly, we had to get corticoids -for the first time in 9 years-.

My recommendation is to avoid this product at all cost. Do not use it on very dry skin and definetly not on skin prone to eczema.

Aveeno had been a great product for over 5 years but its recently changed and lost its benefit at least for me, also the pump system fails to deliver 25% of the cream left at the bottom of the 500mm bottle. All in all a very expensive product that used to work well ( for me) and now is a waste of money.
