I hate that my client switched from PaymodeX to AvidXchange
I want to be very clear: the people I’ve spoken to at AvidXchange are friendly on the phone, but the systems and processing are another story. They feel broken, confusing, and honestly suspect — as if money is being held and payouts delayed for reasons that are never explained.
I have other properties that use PaymodeX, and I’ve had nothing but stellar service with them. I truly hate that one of my clients switched to AvidXchange, because it now feels like for three-quarters of the month I’m working for free.
It should not take from June until September just to establish direct deposit. It should not take nearly two weeks for a paper check to arrive in the mail. And it definitely should not take me calling every single week, repeating the same story, and still being stuck in this cycle of delays and frustration.
This has been nothing short of a nightmare. AvidXchange seriously needs to overhaul their communication and payment processing systems. Vendors deserve consistency, transparency, and timely payouts — not this endless runaround.

Complaint about AvidXchange Platform Service
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by the AvidXchange platform. Customer service is extremely difficult to reach, and when contact is finally made, the team appears untrained and unable to resolve the issues at hand. The standard response is always to wait 5 to 10 business days — yet this deadline is never met, and follow-ups are rare or nonexistent.
When contacting support via email, we only receive a ticket number and a request to wait. This lack of effective assistance is negatively impacting my business.
The main issue is that my clients have already made their payments, and AvidXchange sends us an email with the card number so we can receive the funds — however, the payments are declined. Transactions up to $400 are processed normally, but any amount above that limit is automatically rejected.
Even after receiving multiple emails from AvidXchange stating that the payment is ready to be received, the transaction is declined with no explanation. This ongoing issue is damaging my client relationships and severely affecting my business operations.
I request immediate action to resolve these payment issues and a permanent solution to the problems outlined.

My experience with AvidXchange was incredibly disappointing. The customer support representative, 'Mary,' was shockingly rude. We were genuinely interested in using their services, but the lack of basic courtesy made it unbearable. Customer service should prioritize respectful communication. I would not recommend their services to anyone. 👎
