Yet again Axis failed to turn up
Yet again Axis failed to turn up, after waiting several hours, no call to say they weren't coming but by now I suppose that is to be expected. Had to chase them up and rebook maybe I'll get lucky this time. Estuary Housing Association must have found Axis Repairs at the local saloon full of cowboys. They obviously don't care about negative reviews as the have no competition in being probably the most incompetent and unprofessional organisation in the country.

No heating hot water for a week they came out today and took a photo of the appartment numbers and drove off. Bad is not the word for this company
Housing association tenants beware of the Axis workmen.
If you are in housing association property that use Axis for your repairs, be aware that the workmen that come might be extremely unpleasant even aggressive in their demeanour. Keep an eye on them at all times as they are likely to treat your home with no concern whatsoever.
I had to have a new toilet fitted, the man that came was extremely unfriendly, he did not have the right stuff to do the job and asked me if I had screws and raw plugs, when I opened my cupboard to have a look he barged passed me saying let me look. When he had finished and gone, I noticed the toilet had been put back in the wrong place, about half inch out, which meant it was not lining up with the pipe for the cistern and was leaking.
When another plumber came from Axis to put it right, again he was very unfriendly and aggressive in his manner. He used my clean bath towel to kneel on, getting it covered in the dirt from the job, when he was done he wrapped all the dirty rubbish in it and left it on the dirty floor. He left without a goodbye or anything, just said its done and walked out.
I wasn't going to make anything of it until I opened the toilet lid and saw that he had had a wee in the toilet and hadn't flushed it; going by his general attitude I understood this as an insult.

By far one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced. No professionalism, continuous DNA on numerous occasions, no communication, no respect or knowledge of expertise, high turn over of staff and you can guarantee that what ever they come out to repair will break shortly after they leave. From my experience anyone looking to use this service I recommend sourcing another company.
Absolutely ridiculous
Absolutely ridiculous! I called Axis yesterday morning. The man I spoke to seemed very good and informative. He said that as they class this as an emergency (having no heating) there is a 6 hour call out but it shouldn’t be that long. He also said that if the problem can’t be fixed, they will supply heaters for the time being. He also said that I would be called when the engineers are on their way. Guess what, no one turned up. My mum is 83 and has emphysema. I thought Wates were bad then Axis comes along! Yet again well done to @Southernhousing for getting yet another cowboy company! Yet another day lost from work
Dreadful company
My brother suffers mental health issues.As his carer this company failed to contact me, showed up at his door with no announcement, no agreement, no ID. l took the phone call from my brother and asked him to put the worker organised by Ealing Council on the phone.
The worker who did not show any ID badge took my brother’s phone when l asked who are you why are you even there today. He said a few inaudible words and hung up the call passing the phone back to my brother.
Incompetent ! Rude! Unprofessional does not even cover the amount of adjectives l want to use to describe these bungling idiots.
The week before some woman called my brother’s number from the same company did not listen to my brother who pleaded with her to call me as his carer.
She ignored his pleading several times during the call. I had to call Ealing repairs to even find out who had called my brother. Ealing equally as flawed tell me that they only have my number and have no idea how Axis had my brother’s number. My brother is classed as a vulnerable adult.
Both Ealing and Axcis do not care.
Ealing refused to give me the email address, name or phone number of anyone at Axcis and we wonder why things don’t get done. Ealing Repairs are literally as bad if not worse than this company.

We had a few repairs done to our home since we moved in 8 months ago and in all this time we had so many different experiences with Axis contractors.some were ok and some were very bad but the last time we had a visit from axis to repair a broken door for a cupboard in our hallway it was the best experience ! Arjinder Bhogal visited us on the 14th of November 2024,we had a text message from Arjinder Bhogal letting us know He was on his way to us . He arrived in time .He fixed the cupboard door , it's all good now closing with no issues.while He was fixing the cupboard door we mentioned to Arjinder that most of our inside doors do not close at all . Arjinder politely told us we need to report the issue and book an other repair but in the end Arjinder phoned his manager to get permission to carry the repair of all our inside doors as well as the cupboard door.He did a great! job.all our doors now are closing fine now ,he also changed a broken door handle in our living room.He was very professional when speaking to us,very flexible saved us time by getting two jobs done in one day.He was also very quick and tidy while working .
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. Took 3 years to do a roof repair, where there was water ingress. Ended up costing Swan Housing £3000 in compensation. Now waiting since April for a guttering rectification, because it was installed incorrectly. This company is appalling. There's aways an excuse.

I phoned Axis repair service today because the drain in my wet room is blocked .The agent who spoke to me said he can't get anyone until next week to fix the problem. .This company doesn't employ tradesmen only handymen and there handy men can't even do tge jobs properly .They were suppose to replace rotten skirting and patched it with bits of skirting cut offs and dado rail .

They make things worse not better and all their staff complain about them. Workmen broken more things than fixed, late, no shows, some show without appointments. They hire rogue companies. Poor organisation. Total mess. Need to shut down.

Yet again Axis do not care to make people wait TWO weeks with no immersion heater and then leave a message to say they are not coming. Stuff the fact people are losing wages, Axis do not give a damn AS USUAL.Too often they are unable or too incompetent to do the job they are meant to do and Housing Associations are not willing to support the people who pay them (the residents) every month without fail.

Awful company. I had a bloke come out from axis to fix a water leak under my sink which was coming from my mains ON & OFF tap. The man who turned up came in my home twisted the mains tap twice before it burst & ended up having ankle deep of water throughout the down stairs of my home as he could not find the mains water outside my home, this took 20 mins whilst my house was flooding. This left everything of mine ruined now over 4 weeks i have no flooring or carpet as it all had to be ripped up and my furnishings ruined as well as all my skirting boards & doors. I am now having to live up stairs with my 5 year old whilst i am still waiting for axis to admit liability as it needs to go through a insurance claim. My lovely home whick took me 4 years of hard work for it to be all ruined thanks to a man who is suppose to know plumbing!
Disgraceful company
Both my 16 year old sister and I require support from our mum due to being disabled and because of this she has been accepted for an exchange to move closer to us. All that is left is the checks from axis on the property she is currently in. They have been nothing but rude towards her and on top of this never even turn up or contact to say they won’t be coming. They are now not only disrupting my mums life but also making sure that two disabled people can’t get the care they require. Absolute joke of a company who very clearly don’t understand anything about customer service. I have no idea why other people are giving 5 star reviews because I only gave one star as it was the lowest I could do. I wouldn’t even rate them that.

Meant to be having safety checks done for a mutual exchange, try to book them in, had a no show for appointment that was booked, when speaking to them on the phone its a joke, don't know where any of them got their customer care training as they are down right rude and condescending, they still can't even tell me when an electrical safety check will be done, I would love to know how they manage to get the cotracts with various councils when clearly they don't know how to do the job properly
Awful company
I have had an outstanding repair to my fence since January 2024.
Axis have sent out people to assess the job and don't bother getting back in touch.
Joiners were supposed to turn up today to carry out the repair.
I took the morning off work and no-one turned up {even though I had received 2 texts to say they would}
I contacted Onward Homes to find out why no-one turned up.
It seems the joiner was off ill.
No communications whatsoever from Axis.
I have now been rebooked in for next week.
I am taking this matter further to the housing ombudsman.
AVOID USING THIS COMPANY!!!

Utterly awful company
Utterly awful company. Waited two weeks for simple repairs, they then cancelled without telling us. Then rebooked it and the work was shoddy, they left a terrible mess. We are still waiting for another job from three months ago. They pull contracters from all over the SE and beyond, with varying degrees of ability. We’ve had contact from random maintenance people saying ‘Axis asked us to contact you’ on Whatsapp. Their customer service have no knowledge, initiative or proper training. This company just seems to want to cut costs and treat the customer with utter disregard.

Wow basiclcly booked in for a service check so get a message saying booked in for sat 1/6 then another for 8/1 so waited in sat morning then get a call saying it will be 1/6 from the work fone guy then no1 turnt up still and stated that i cant do sundays on the fone to him he said thats fine il come between 1/6 so yep no1 turnt up then message saying booked in 8/1 sunday no1 turnt up,so waisted all weekend this happens every year for a boiler check..can som1 send me the complaints email for this please
