We went to Bamfords Auctioneers for advice to sell some items. The jewellery items were valued and catalogued by Kerri, she was very helpful and ensured we received a good price for the items. Other items were valued by Ian, again gave good advice and everything was sold as arranged. All was dealt with quickly and easily. We would definitely use Bamfords again.

Great service and price achieved. Commission paid on price. Transfers take time so not a quick way to obtain funds but all processed when chased after time frame agreed was complete.

I dealt with Kerri Keeling with regard to my items. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and advised me on the best way forward. She gave me a lot of advise -a lovely person.

I found all the experts welcoming, helpful and honest. When I had accepted the valuations, I waited for the auction. The sale prices on the day were uncannily accurate, some higher, some lower. I was impressed with all stages (particularly the payment!) and would certainly use Bamfords again.

She spent a lot of time going through a number of boxes and explaining what she found, before putting together a number of lots for sale. I have used Bamfords a few times to sell quite a lot of stuff. I have always been very satisfied with them. They always seem to get a good price for my items and I found them very easy to deal with. Very nice people.

Many thanks to Kerri and staff for their friendly attitude and help in sorting and selling some old family ornaments, jewellery and knick-knacks. Results exceeding my expectations and will definitely use again if anything else crops up.

Bamfords, Rowsley, were very helpful after we were left boxes full of items from my parents estate. There was so much that it did initially take a long time to begin selling everything, but I was kept up to date via email. Thank you to all the team down there.

I attended a Charity event for Valley Cids where James was the Auctioneer. He made it great fun and ensured there was some good money raised. He really did know how to go the extra mile.

We attended a charity ball 21/11/25 to celebrate Amber Valley Cids Silver Anniversary & raise funds for their new project.
It was a fabulous evening at Morley Hayes based around an auction.
James Lewis was our auctioneer that evening who explained he had given his time freely, which is a heart warming gesture from Banfords a world renowned Auction house.
James conducted the auction with such humility & humour it made you want to bid for things you would usually never need or want.
I have no previous knowledge of James however, I hope he keeps his promise with continued support for local charities. Fingers x’d we will see him at next the event !

James was fantastic at a recent charity auction. He brought such great energy and a brilliant sense of humour that kept the crowd fully engaged throughout the entire event.
