The stools came quickly, however ,the box was damaged and we thought something has gone on here. We took a photo. We opened the box carefully and the bolts were missing!! If my husband had not been a joiner and has a workshop we would have had to send the whole thing back. Disappointing. We like the stools once put together.

A really great experience when buying our barstools and when there were a few issues, they resolved it amicably.

Stools ordered for kitchen island. Delivered quickly and product looked good but unfortunately dimensions were slightly out. Returns process worked well and would use again.

This is the third time I’ve purchased from barstools.co.uk I’ve always found them helpful and knowledgeable. This time I had an issue with the items I ordered so left a message a few days before Christmas, not expecting a reply until after the holidays but they got straight back to me, resolved the situation and sent replacements which arrived just 2 days later. Fantastic customer service from both them and their courier’s. I’ve been happy recommending them to friends and will continue to do so.

I appear to be experiencing the same issues highlighted in other negative reviews, which suggests the company has little interest in improving its service.

I ordered three bar stools and received an email the following day stating they were out of stock for over a month. When I called to clarify, I was told they “were completely out of stock”. I requested a refund immediately, but a week later it still hasn’t been processed.

To make matters worse, the bar stools are still listed on the website as “in stock,” despite the company confirming they are not. This is both disappointing and misleading.

Edit (4 weeks later): Still no refund. Thankfully I paid with Amex and have now initiated a chargeback. It’s shameful behaviour from the company, and particularly disappointing given that they’re a local business to me.

Edit2: In response to Barstools.co.uk reply in which they claim I was still considering purchasing stools, this is an outright fabrication from the company. I requested a refund on 17/12/2025. Barstools.co.uk would be better to fabricate a refund as requested 7 weeks ago rather than fiction!

Ordering was simple, although the requested items were out of stock the wonderful customer care team kept me updated with delivery dates.
I ordered 5 Chadwick bar stools. They are just perfect and so comfortable, the kitchen is now the favourite place to sit!

Same experience as many. Item showing in stock, purchase made, email advising out of stock and offering alternative options.

Few faults with the initial barstools we ordered but I have to say their customer service was excellent! Sorted the issue immediately and arranged delivery of the new stools the next day. Very happy with the service.

Great quality product, easy to assemble. Arrived quickly over the Xmas holidays.

Quick delivery, very reasonable price for a couple of good quality bar stool. Although the color description is not entirely accurate. I would consider the stool to be grey instead of "light grey"

Purchase and delivery hassle free. Very happy with the product. Assembly instructions are poor; written by non-English speaker with maybe too much experience to explain things properly. My second attempt is a lot better than my first.

Love the stools. They are perfect for our small breakfast bar. Was impressed with the speedy delivery especially as we bought them just before Christmas. Only slight criticism is that we found instructions confusing.
