Due to the competitive pricing I ordered 20Kg of rice from Bazaar-foods on 7th April, it was meant to be delivered within a few days. On the 13th April I'd still not received the order so I wrote an email to chase up the order. I didn't hear back for a couple of days, so on the 15th of April I wrote to ask to cancel the order. They replied the next day to apologise for the delay, explaining that they were waiting for stock of the 20kg bags of rice - but they were expecting to receive them that day. I decided it was probably worth continuing the order at this point. However, by the 20th April I'd still not received anything and again chased up the status of the order. On the 22nd of April I still hadn't received anything so I asked for a full refund.

I then purchased the rice from another supplier (delivered then next day...). On the 25th April I received an email saying my bazaar-foods order was on the way (I'd still received no communication via their email address). I asked again for them to cancel the order (pointing out that I'd purchased rice from elsewhere at this point... but to no avail.

So the rice, that I no longer need has now finally arrived. From order to delivery it took 3 weeks.

However, it is the woeful communication that is my major issue. I asked via 3 separate emails to cancel the order and was ignored in all cases. I now intend to pursue a refund via my credit card.

Absolutely appalling that I ordered food on the 12th April and nothing has been delivered. No updates whatsoever! I have called many times no response and also emailed but no response. I would not use this shop to order anything in the future and I highly recommend no-one does. I can’t even get a refund as no-one responds to calls or emails. I will be logging in an official complaint against this company and now resort to calling up visa to get my money back!

Good service , but there's room for improvement as I didn't receive any email of order confirmation and since my order got delayed, I did not receive an email until I called them next day.

Great range of products and extremely helpful staff

After a delay of more than two weeks and no replies to my emails or complaints, I finally received my order only when I mentioned possibly reporting them to the credit card company for fraud. My experience was disappointing, and I have decided not to purchase from this store again.

Despite a delay and lack of updates, I eventually received the product.

The picture of the pappadums was deceptive as I was expecting the large ones. All other shops stated they were mini pappadums.
Your returns policy is outdated.
The substitute policy needs to be available at order not as a sub paragraph in the returns policy.
Definitely will not use again

Super fast Delivery and the vegetables are so fresh!

I have been using Bazaar foods since last 3-4 months. They are amazing. They make sure that the vegetables/fruits are fresh when delivered. Communication is key to customer service and they are always on top of it. If the veggies are not fresh enough they send a message asking if it’s alright to deliver the next day with fresh veggies. Depending on urgency, they responded even when they were closed. Exactly the service and quality I wish for. Thank you bazaar foods team
