The crew were great in handling all of our packed boxes and furniture.

Great work disassembling and reassembling everything, and placing all items roughly where they were supposed to go on each floor.

We didn't have too much stuff as we were moving from a 1400 SQft Townhome to a 2600 SQft detached 1.5 KM North of where we were.

The Quote was for $1800, plus tax/tip, which I could only imagine ending up being around $2200 or so.

So, I weighed my options of it being Average price from everywhere else I checked. Also, taking into consideration:

Full Day 20 Foot U-Haul or Equivalent Truck and Gas - $300
4 Friends - $400/Free 99
Food and Beer - $200?
Supplies/Extras - $200?
Total - $700-$1100????
4-5 hours?

So I said, hey, I'll save my friends and family the hassle of doing a lot or anything and just pay because the cost wasn't enough for me to gripe over.

The day of the trip, they couldn't fit everything on the 1 truck they brought, so at the 4.5 hour mark, after moving everything they had into our new place, they had to go back for more stuff.
Thus adding another 2 hours to the total of the day.

The bill ended up being around $2800 after tax and Tip all said and done.

So, it was definitely higher than expected and that it was originally quoted.

The service was great, but I'd definitely weigh my options next time, if there is one.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could because the guys showed up at 10 AM when we had a text message with a confirmation for 9 AM. A little disconcerting for an hour. However, the guys were all efficient, careful, worked hard, and overall did a great job. They were very mindful of the bylaws at the apartment related to holding the elevator and not blocking the hallways, etc.

The communication was pretty solid and the 2 movers were very polite, but I have to say they were very slow compared to what we were used to. The unit we were moving out of is very tricky and annoying (eg have to go through the parkade from the elevator and then through two gates) but for some reason they made very little use of the dollies and only 1 guy ever came up to our unit. The move cost us literally double what it cost us to move in with pretty much the exact same stuff and this was with me doing a lot of the work on the one end and both myself and my wife on the other end (eg literally using their dollies, hauling mattresses etc). The previous movers we've used managed to make great use of the dollies and their system (eg each guy coming up and moving stuff then going down together and putting it in the truck) was so much faster. I would not use this company again based on how slow it was and how expensive it came out to be.

The movers were on time, worked very hard, were polite and careful. Nothing more could I have asked for

Patrick and Suhay (my apologies if I misspelled it) were both punctual, professional, kind and efficient. It made a tough day much easier.

I had an excellent experience with BC Movers. They were professional, courteous and friendly. The move went quickly but they also were careful with how everything was transported. Everything went smoothly. I will absolutely hire them for future moves and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Outstanding! We had an excellent team, very efficient and professional. It ended up raining the day we moved but they wrapped everything and made sure that nothing was wet or damaged.

They were pleasant and diligent, would highly recommend them!

They were excellent! Took their time to neatly wrap everything and moved efficiently. The job took a lot longer than anticipated, but they didn’t rush or complain. We will definitely use them again when needed and we will recommend to anyone who needs movers.

They were great people but were late by 45min and one Box definitely fell, and unfortunately 3 very expensive pieces broke inside:(. My plants were also squished so I think it’s best to recommend the customers to put them in their vehicle. I appreciated chatting with both of them and everything they did on such a hot day. They helped a lot with the stress but I can’t get over how sad I am about my most precious pieces—and I consider myself a very good wrapper to ensure my pieces are protected and labeled “fragile” on the box.

Efficient, friendly, good pricing and good communication. Just recommend to another friend!
