BDS Drainage Reviews 

I left a review back in May. I wanted to confirm that no-one from BDS bothered to reply to my emails or return my calls regarding my complaint about their overcharging methods, even though I was told someone would revert to me. I can only assume that this is their business model, trying to extract as much money from honest customers with dishonest practices (even lying to customers in my experience) not caring one second if these customers will come back.

Unreliable and perhaps dodgy business practices? Hard to know at this point but it's looking that way. Job done to an ok standard in October 2019 (costing over 4k), but had problems a few weeks later. Communicated this right away multiple times to multiple people. Has taken MONTHS to get someone back on my property to investigate, even before lockdown. Since lockdown ended in June I still cannot get BDS to actually schedule someone to come take a look. Promises made, nothing delivered. Happy to change this review if they ever return to do what should have been fixed in November 2019.

P.S. that BDS finally responded to my review in April 2021 (9 months after I posted this in November 2020) speaks volumes of their customer service. Avoid them.

As a private landlord, who was out of the country when my tenant reported an emergency bad leak resulting in our kitchen ceiling falling in, BDS were brilliant at responding quickly and effectively. The problem was rectified very honestly with great feedback throughout so we could make choices whilst not being able to attend. The plumber demonstrated empathy towards our situation and was very tolerant of a demanding tenant. The office staff were brilliant to deal with. Overall a great experience and we will definitely use BDS again and recommend to others .

I had a blocked drain my first time with this sort of problem I found BDS drainage and can not fault them in anyway. Attend on time and resolved my issue within 1hour of the arrival keeping my updated regularly with the works they were completing and why. Very impressed

Had bds attend my property today due to a overflowing manhole cause by my pumps failing they worked very hard to get the job done, niw all cleaned up -pumps working again and all flowing like it should thanks bds recommend to anyone cheap and great service A++++

I had BDS come out to be yesterday for a full clear out of my drains. Cannot fault them, they was very polite and tidied up after themselves. Would highly recommend!

Great service. I had an emergency blockage in my drain. I called up BDS and they sent someone round within 45 minutes. They charge £75 for 30 minutes plus £45 for equipment. This concerned me as I had no idea how long the job was going to take and didn’t want to get stung with a hefty bill, but they worked very efficiently and managed to complete the work within 30 mins. They also give you a 100 day guarantee but hopefully I won’t need to call them back. Would highly recommend to friends and neighbours.

Bds were absolutely brilliant had a few drainage company’s out and cost me a fortune these guys came promptly were very polite and completely the job without ripping me off. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Dean and David were brilliant couldn’t fault them.

Called the Essex branch of BDS for a Gas escape problem leaving us with no hot water or heating. Was offered an appointment late the next day, beggars cant be choosers so accepted.

Never called to explain.
Still no hot water or heating - appalled.

Jay came to our property really fast (06/08) to fix a leaking garden drain. He was extremely polite upon arrival and did a very thorough job at draining, cleaning and de-scaling the buildup. He was kind enough to also clean the affected areas afterwards with strong chemical so that we wouldn’t have to. If I have further issues, I will be sure to contact them again.

Brilliant Service came out super fast had all the tools for the job had the problem solved in record time and to a very high standard! 100% recommended!!
