Beach Reunion Reviews

We’ve been visiting Destin for several years and have stayed at Soak Up the Sun for all but 1 year. The amenities available and the service and attention to detail are amazing! We have talked about trying other places but are afraid we won’t be satisfied after being spoiled at Soak Up the Sub. Carrie is amazing! We will be back

Soak up the sun rental was everything our group needed. You will not find a better host than Carrie!! She is welcoming and so quick with any minor request we had. The house is perfect and accommodating for large families. We have already booked for a 5th time with Carrie!!

We had another incredible stay at Soak Up the Sun! This was our 4th year coming back, and it continues to exceed expectations every time. The staff is outstanding—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with anything we needed throughout our stay.

The house itself is huge, spotless, and perfectly set up for large groups. We had 28 guests, and everyone slept comfortably without feeling crowded. The amenities are top-notch and really make the experience feel special.

Highly recommend for anyone planning a large group getaway—we’ll definitely be back again!

Carrie is an absolute amazing host! Our entire group had a fantastic time at the Beach Reunion house. Everything was immaculate.
Carrie was in constant contact with us to make sure things were going according to our expectations. When one of the smoke detector batteries went bad she was over immediately with a ladder ready to take care of it.
We’ve been coming here for four years and we will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay on the beach at Sol-mate. We were set up with golf carts to cruise around and also utilized a private chef that catered to our needs including some great beach music. It was the perfect place to stay to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday and enjoy the evening sunsets across the ocean by the pool. We will be staying here again very soon. Excellent host and catered to our every need!! Thanks again!!!

Great house!! The house is perfect for a large group. The king suites are excellent. The house is stocked with anything you may need. Quick walk to the beach. The house manager was on call and very helpful! Would stay again!

We just completed our 3rd year in a row at Hollywood and Divine. We have a group of 4 families that have stayed each year. The property is amazing and fits our group of 18 with room to spare. Any small issues we may experience throughout the trip are handled quickly by the Beach Reunion team. Close walk to the beach is great and also a nice sized pool for those double red days! Only area for improvement would be for an upgraded grill. With a large group we plan a couple of nights for dinner in, grill is not adequate for a house that holds this number of people. Small issue in the grand scheme of things. Very happy with Beach Reunion and have already booked with them for next year.

We had a group of 26.(six families) A lot of space, everyone had a nice bed/bath, the kids shared the second floor and the heated pool was great! Any questions were answered and the spot was perfect.

The house is set up for an all around great experience.
Location, amenities, and communication, just to name a few. We had a bad experience with another booking, had to find a last minute replacement rental. Found Barton Vista Del Mar on VRBO so as the saying goes " things happen for a reason."

Our large family stayed at “Soak up the sun” which is managed by Beach Reunion. We have stayed at this home several times and the location and amenities are very good. Just as important is that the staff of Beach Reunion are very attentive to any issues that might come up during our stay. I would highly recommend Beach Reunion.

Barton Vista Del Mar from Beach Reunions was an amazing house. Great location, clean, spacious, and all the amenities you could possibly want! Management was very responsive the few times I called. Ample parking and close access to the beach. Highly recommend!

This place is just WOW! If you are lucky enough to stay here you will love every minute! The Beach Reunion team are consummate hosts, this is probably the most well-run and thoughtfully managed group I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. The space is well equipped, very comfortable and the setting is fabulous – great pool area, game room golf cart in a quiet private community. To wake up every morning and take a 5 min golf cart ride to the beach was wonderful. It speaks volumes when we say we'd love to return as soon as we can. I would not hesitate to recommend the Beach Reunion team / Southbound Destiny East property
to anyone.

This neighborhood is so outstanding! Every spring break we go to Florida and have a blast! This year we went to Santorini, 5 stars as soon as you step inside the door. The pool is perfectly heated as well, there was a problem with the internet the first day, we messaged them and they came and fixed the internet good as new. Definitely choose Santorini!

We had a wonderful stay at this home for our family reunion. It was the perfect place for a large group to gather and spend time together.
The house was very spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The large kitchen and dining area made it easy for us to cook and eat together, and the living room had enough seating for group time. The outdoor pool area was a highlight, for the kids to play and a great area to relax in the evenings in the hot tub.
The host Carrie, was very responsive, easy going and helpful, making check-in smooth and answering any questions we had.
The only small downside was the main area of the house is loud and echoey with bigger crowd, but it didn’t take away from our experience. Overall, we highly recommend this home for large groups and reunions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for large families or group gatherings.

We’ve been using Beach Reunion for years, and every single experience has been outstanding. Every one of the many houses we’ve stayed has been outstanding. The staff is always friendly, responsive, and genuinely cares about making our stay special.

The homes are always beautifully maintained, clean, and exactly as described…if not better. It gives us real peace of mind knowing we can count on that level of quality every time we visit.

Coming down from St. Louis, this trip is something our family looks forward to all year long. The kids especially love the pools, and having such a comfortable, well kept place to stay makes the whole vacation even more memorable.

We wouldn’t keep coming back if it wasn’t so consistently great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stress free, enjoyable Florida getaway. Thanks Beach Reunion.

We’ve been renting homes from Beach Reunion for our extended family spring break for several years and always love it! This year we stayed at Santorini and it was the best house! Clean, comfy, great kitchen and bathrooms, spacious bedrooms with cozy beds, pool was perfect, short walk to the beach. Media room was perfect for the kids. Golf car is a fun addition to the week so we can drive to ice cream and souvenir shops quickly. The owner and employees of Beach Reunion are so friendly, helpful. They always check in with us to make sure we have everything we need. The kitchen was just renovated before we arrived and it didn’t have a toaster. We reached out and they brought us a toaster within 10 minutes! We only rent from Beach Reunion and will for sure rent Santorini again next year!

Wonderful, prompt, friendly service! Great amenities for a truly wonderful vacation!

good day sunshine was absolutely amazing! great week 😁

Good Day Sunshine was super accommodating for all of our needs and super friendly throughout our full visit. Staff is on top of things daily and the house holds plenty of friends comfortably with amazingly clean and new furniture and appliances. 1000% staying here again!

We had an incredible stay at The Gray Whale with our family, and it was the perfect setting for our daughter’s wedding reception in the backyard! Everything was absolutely beautiful. The backyard is stunning, with a huge pool, fire pit, and even a putting green—it created such a fun and memorable atmosphere for our celebration. The house itself is impressive, spacious, and offers gorgeous views of the ocean right across the road.
Vanessa was amazing to work with from start to finish. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful, but she made everything so easy. She went above and beyond to help us and I truly can’t thank her enough! I highly recommend The Gray Whale for family stays, special events, or any unforgettable getaway!
