Our recipes date back to 1917. Our fruitcake is a light cake with 67% fruit and nuts. We use large cherries, succulent pineapple, regular and golden raisins along with pecans and walnuts. The only liquid in our fruitcake is bourbon, rum and brandy. In addition to our out of this world flavor, we promise to maintain quality and care in our products.

I love Grandma's
I love Grandma's. My favorite is the date nut bread but I also like the fruitcake, including the different varieties. The only think I have not liked was the red velvet cookies. I was expecting soft, not hard. Are you going out of business or just closing the retail store?

Words cannot express my gratitude to Grandmas Bake Shoppe
Great service, speedy shipping, wonderful staff, and on top of that, they have a totally awesome fruitcake. The sad part is, I’ve read that they will be closing their bakery. For 20 years I use to drive to Beatrice 2-3 times a year and buy some of their “second to none” products. Closing their doors not only leaves an empty spot in the fridge and pantry, but also an empty spot in my heart. Good luck to all the staff…..hold your heads high, because you most definitely have made a tremendous impact on many of us. Love you, mean it, Bill

I have been trying to find a fruitcake…
I have been trying to find a fruitcake that wasn't bitter, too much cake not enough fruit & nuts.. well my search is over! Your fruitcakes are the most pleasant, stocked full of nuts and the best fruit, largest cherries, I can't say enough good things about your cakes!! Thank you for making the best ever!!! I will be ordering more. I have one in my freezer now just finished the first one. I wasn't interested in anything but fruitcakes but you had the special on your cookies & I couldn't resist. Glad I did! The pumpkin cookies were awesome. Can't wait to try others with my next order!

Now I'm a fruitcake person
I was never a fruitcake person, but their regular and amaretto versions are loaded with 67% fruit and nuts. The chocolate friutcake is now a hit at our family gatherings lol
