The team at Benchmark successfully supported us through the sale of our business. The process was a challenging one because of COVID causing a number of delays. What a team to deal with..even our buyer was impressed and said he'd use Benchmark in the future. As a complete novice in selling a business; Benchmark were there for us, guiding us dealing with the up's an down's of any process and explaining everything to us. From the initial contact with Matt, to the management team including Misha and Domonic it was faultless. We reserve special mention to Kate who has been an absolute diamond in dealing with everything and keeping the flow moving. She was an invaluable resource during the whole process so a massive thank you from us. Great company great resource great staff.

After receiving a personal endorsement to use the Benchmark team, they certainly stepped up to the plate, finding 40+ potential buyers, subsequently narrowing the field to 25 meetings, resulting in 7 offers, which led to a bidding-war between 3 parties to secure a successful outcome; even during Covid times!

The beauty of having a 'middle-man' enabled pressure to be applied at key times throughout the process, and acted as a buffer between the Buyer and Seller to alleviate potential fall-outs out with one another over "minutiae"; which was crucial as we were soon to be working closely post-completion.

There were several times when things were on a knife-edge, though the Benchmark team were on hand to steady the ship during tempestuous times.

All fur coat and no knickers! All Initial representations were very good and professional however, as soon as I had agreed to move forward and paid their fee’s, it was one disappointment after another. Don’t bother, unless you want to spend half your life chasing them up and waiting for them to come back to you with absolutely nothing, time after time! Very Disappointing and a complete waste of money!

I worked with Benchmark during 2019 to help sell the business that I had founded with colleagues 10 years earlier. I found their approach systematic and analytical. In addition, they have very good contacts with a large network of individuals, companies and funders who they can approach directly to short-circuit the process.

We moved through the process in a timely and efficient manner which yielded a number of interested parties. We successfully received offers for the business and we concluded a sale approximately 8 month after the initial meeting. If you want fast access to potential buyers and use of a professional and targeted service, then speak to Benchmark.

I was contacted unsolicited by this company. It seems to be some form of franchise. They are trying to get people to sell businesses cheap. But I suspect that the main thing of interest to them is data. I'd advise you to maybe stick with a more well known company if you're thinking of selling your business. I reported to the ICO.
This review was challenged to have it removed from Trust Pilot. They have not replied to our request to have our data removed under Article 15 GDPR. We had to contact again to find out what was being done with our data.
I'm of the opinion things aren't what they seem but I am willing to be proved wrong.

We recently reached out to BICP regarding assistance in the purchase of a small business.

Although BICP does not typically deal with businesses of our size, they politely informed me as such and were still willing to answer the questions that I had.

They were extremely helpful, as they offered advice and guidance, and ultimately pointed us in the right direction. They also referred us to a very competent panel of solicitors, who have now helped us to successfully complete the purchase.

We would like to thank BICP for their help and would highly recommend them to anybody looking to sell or purchase a business.
