BESPOKE FRONT DOOR Reviews

We had superb service from Bespoke Front Door from start to finish. Our project was the replacement of the front door to our 1930s house, including two glazed side panels. We were able to visit the workshop to see the manufacturing process at first hand and to choose the new door furniture. The team also helped us design the pattern for the stained glass in the door and side panels. The fitting process was very smooth - the fitters arrived bang on time, were very polite and friendly and cleaned up properly when they had finished. Once fitted, the painter, Abdi came to paint the door frame and surround, which he did extremely well. Overall the quality of the finished product and the standard of workmanship is excellent. The entire team at BFD was an absolute pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend the company to anyone considering a replacement front door.

Extremely disappointing service. The door showed up well past the promised date and was already damaged upon arrival. The installers were in a hurry and didn’t take the time to make sure everything was aligned. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a response, and even then, the issues remained unresolved. The door doesn’t fit right, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying from them.

Extremely disappointed. The door I received was completely wrong – not even close to what I ordered. The installation was sloppy, and they left a mess behind. When I contacted customer service, I was ignored for days, and when they finally responded, they didn’t offer any real solutions. The door is functional, but the whole experience was a nightmare.

We had a great experience with Bespoke Front Doors, from the initial chat with Doug to the installation team and the decorator. Everyone took great care in the work they did, was friendly, tidy and on time. When we needed someone to come round to check something they were over on the same day. You can tell the door is high quality and we are really pleased with the finished product. Highly recommended.

From start to finish Doug/ John and the rest of the team have been absolutely brilliant. I shopped around a bit before settling on Bespoke Front Door and I’m so glad I went with them. Everyone I’ve met/ spoken to has been really friendly and informative and that goes such a long way when picking out a supplier.

We had just moved to a new home and the original door was tired and in need of replacement. We opted for a new four panel Victorian door, with sand blasted glazing in two panels, a sand blasted fan light with clear house number, a new frame, a pair of Banham locks, and various other hardware. A special mention to the door knob Bespoke Front Door provided - it’s particularly nice!

After an initial visit to discuss options and measuring up I was sent a quote setting out everything we wanted with a neat CAD drawing which showed how the door would look. John later followed up a couple of times to confirm smaller details and explained really well little items I hadn’t thought of like the different types of panel moulding and the threshold step and seals before we got the design fully confirmed.

As the door got nearer production a form came to allow me to confirm the door hardware and the door colour (many tester pots later we went with F&B Oval Room Blue - we love it!). It was all really slick and very professionally done.

On fitting day a friendly couple of guys from the team spent most of the day removing our old frame and door and fitting the new one. It’s a world apart from what we had. It’s much thicker, very solid/ sturdy and looks gorgeous. It is high quality in both construction and fitting.

A week or two after fitting a decorator (Abdi) arrived to touch up the areas around the door to finish the job. To my knowledge this is a service not everyone else provides. He spent a good part of the day neatening everything up.

A nice touch was being left with quite a full paint pot of the door colour for later touch ups and so I can match a new garden gate when I get round to ordering that! It’s a shame Bespoke Front Door don’t also do garden gates as I’d ask them to do that too if they did!

Some weeks into fitting the dead lock started to catch slightly, probably as the temperature is changing into Spring, causing some subtle wood movement. Quick as a flash the team sent someone out to take a look for me and had it sorted in minutes.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bespoke Front Door to anyone in need of a new door. The whole experience has been great, with excellent communication throughout and fundamentally delivery of a high end service and product.

From our first meeting with John, to visiting the workshop, and finally the installation of our beautiful door, it was an enjoyable experience. John and the team are absolute professionals and talented craftsmen. It was so refreshing to be able to put our absolute trust in the team and look to them for the best advice, knowing that is exactly what we were receiving. The stained glass is absolutely beautiful! Surpassing our expectations. And the heft and quality of the door - it is solid. Abdi did a great job with the paint work too. A bright red door needs to look perfect. Thank you so much. I highly recommend you to anyone who would like a new beautiful door.

We wanted a door to replace the original and that is exactly what we got!
John & Doug were so accommodating and adhered to all our specifications. Even when there was a little issue this was promptly resolved without question.
Installers and Abdi (painter) were just as thorough.
These guys are positive, accommodating and a friendly team.
I would highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Bespoke Front Doors, from start to finish. I found the whole process easy and also relatively quick, and the result is a top quality and great looking front door that will last me years! I also love the fact that the door was made in the UK. I highly recommend Bespoke Front Doors!

Doug and the Bespoke Front Door team are true professionals. This is the second front door we have purchased from them. The options and styles are plentiful, but it’s the quality that sets them aside. The finished product is a true classic, solid wood front door, beautiful colour options and added security features. The service is also seamless and we couldn’t recommend them enough! If we ever need a third door, we know where to go.

Such a great experience and a beautiful front door. From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with, very attentive and helpful when it came to design choices without being pushy at all. The installation and touch ups were very smooth and efficient and we're really happy with the quality of the finished product. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a new door!

Great products and excellent customer service supported by first class craftsmanship

We had a flawless experience with Bespoke Front Door. From the initial consultation through to the fitting and final decoration, it was as smooth as can be and everyone was a real pleasure to deal with. We are absolutely delighted with the final result, pure quality.

Excellent experience dealing with the team at Bespoke Front Door. Very high quality product and finish, highly recommend!

John and Doug were so brilliant throughout the whole process from picking our door to installing it. Robert and Abdi did a fantastic job in tidying everything up and it looks superb! Would very much recommend!

Really impressed with the service and quality. Friendly team, nothing was too much trouble and someone was always available to answer any queries. Would thoroughly recommend this company for the professionalism and quality of the end product.

Thank you so much Doug and team, great work on Mansel road, Wimbledon. Would highly recommend. 11/10! Thank you 🙏

Thank you Doug and your wonderful team. We are more than delighted with our two, very solid new front doors. The quality of craftsmanship is a joy to behold. The installation team adapted to the challenges, of what is a humble listed building (the old village shop and post office). The doors have been much admired by our neighbours. We hope to use you to replace other doors in our property in the near future.

Bespoke Front Door offered an excellent service throughout. From Doug and Claudio understanding our requirements and providing a timely quote, to the fitting team Jon, James and Roberto, and finally the decorator, Abdul: they all went above and beyond to make sure they were delivering a highly crafted door and window!
We could not be happier with the result.

I have been in the construction industry for over 23 years and understand the importance of quality, both workmanship, and service. I can't fault Bespoke doors; very impressed with Robertus' carpentry skills in fitting the door and Abdul Rahman's decorating skills. The finish looks amazing with no defects!

Really happy with our new front door, frame and fanlight window. A positive experience from start to finish. I can recommend a visit to the workshop in Teddington, you’ll get to appreciate the quality of the doors and manufacture process. The team that fitted and finished the door were polite, tidy and the quality of the workmanship was first class.
