Easy process start to end. Ian was on the ball, responsive and professional. The car was picked up on time, the payment was processed quickly and the money agreed was paid into my bank before the car left. Highly recommend, exceptional service compared to CarWow past experience.

Can't knock them at all, offered a decent value (better than WBAC.COM) arrived when they said they would, found couple small blemishes on car but didn't try and chip price and just paid what they said they would. Recommend

Website was very easy to use and I then received a call the next day from Lauren who went over a few things to check on the condition of the car etc and then promptly came back with a guaranteed price for the car. The car was then collected a few days later as at the price agreed. Super easy process and would use again.

I sold my car to Best Car Buyer today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After initially speaking with Ian, I was led to believe I would receive a fair and reasonable price. However, that couldn’t have been further from the truth.

When Dave came out to inspect the car, he described it very negatively over the phone to someone called Shaun, pointing out dents and scratches that were either minimal or already disclosed beforehand. It felt like the condition of the car was being exaggerated to justify lowering the price.

They also attempted to reduce the offer due to two tyres that had very minor chips in the rubber. I even offered to have them replaced locally, but Shaun insisted they would need to be brand new, which seemed excessive and unreasonable.

On top of that, they charge £99 for “collection,” yet the representative simply drove the car away himself, which makes that fee hard to justify.

In total, they reduced the agreed price by £300, plus the £99 fee — for a 7-year-old Audi with only 19,000 miles, which I believe was in very good condition.

Overall, the process felt misleading. The initial quote does not reflect what you’ll actually receive, and it seems like the inspection is used as an opportunity to bring the price down further. My advice would be to insist on providing detailed photos and videos upfront before accepting any valuation.

Be cautious — the experience did not match the expectations set at the beginning.

Lauren at Best car buyer was prompt to reply & informative. Everything went smoothly & efficiently. Price for our car was reasonable, and the driver did all the paperwork when he arrived. I didnt have to do anything.. I would reccommend using them but just make sure you know your price for your car & stick to your guns..

Having never used a car selling service like this, and having heard some horror stories in the past, I was super impressed by Best Car Buyer. Their pricing was fair and transparent and the whole process from initial enquiry to the car being collected was really smooth and efficient. A big thanks to James who dealt with everything in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. After I made the initial enquiry online, James gave me a call to find out a bit more about the car, I was then able to reach him via Whatsapp to share the various pictures and documents which made the process easy to fit in around work and family etc. From start to finish I think the whole process took just over a week, and that was with a delay from my side as I had to get the car MOTd. I'd absolutely recommend to friends and family 5*

When it came to collection day, the process was longer than expected, but it wasn’t helped by the poor mobile signal where I live. The collection company was very professional and Tom was a great guy to spend time with whilst the process took place.

Overall, a very satisfied customer and I would certainly recommend compared to my limited experience with the auction sites, one of which I struggled to understand and be understood! That was enough to get me looking at alternative sales options and the Best Car Buyer reviews made my decision and I can now back them up and am pleased with my choice.

She kept on updating me on the sale promptly and also she has been very flexible with the handover date of my car considering my circumstances. Great experience from start to finish. My point of contact was Ian High. He was very helpful and replied back to emails straight away, answering any questions I had. The price for my car was confirmed by him quickly and it was the highest offer I had found. After sending all documents across the collection was arranged within that week and finance on my car was settled on collection. Lovely stress free experience. Would highly recommend!!
