Very very easy process to purchase XS Protection insurance for an up and coming car hire trip to France. Premium was fantastic value for money with 7 days cover from Bettersafe.com costing only marginally more than what the Car Hire company wanted for the same policy per day!!! This was a very good purchase for me.

Had a problem with the local car hire…
Had a problem with the local car hire company which meant the excess insurance had to be renewed in a different name. Frustrating that this required cancelling of the old one (pre activation) but customer service were as helpful as they could be.

Why isn't everyone who hires a car getting this?
Have used this company for many years. Fortunately I've not had to claim on any policies but the setting up process and documentation is simple and clear. The cost is fantastic and CONSIDERABLY cheaper than buying through the hire company.

Reasonable price.
Easy to take out insurance at a reasonable price. Fortunately I have not had call to make a claim which would be the real test of their service.

My hire car was recovered in Portugal…
My hire car was recovered in Portugal and new tyre fitted , I paid and on return Bettersafe handled my claim in One week. My son also has today been paid by Bettersafe for a Substantial care hire accident claim in UK. WIthin 10 days. This is a fantastic Company and the process is easy .Refreshingly on the ball.
