Good Customer service dealt with complaint well
Dealt with complaint regarding non leak proof bottle which was received first, replaced bottles so now have the eau good glass bottle which is good quality and now leak proof. Thanks

The Box Apetite we bought had a design flaw
The Box Apetite we bought had a design flaw and broke quite quickly at the hinge after we bought it. Black + Blum was able to replace it quickly for free. Unfortunately it broke again recently. I placed an order for a replacement and another item and emailed them at the same time asking if they would give us the lid for free. Initially they said no but after I said I would cancel the order so they could send me a free one they were able to give me a refund. Great service eventually but took an extra 3 emails more than it could have. Excellent products when they don't have a design flaw.

Poor delivery service
I received an email to say my parcel was at my pickup point from Friday at 12.00 so I arrived at 8pm on the Saturday (next day) and they tell me the parcel isn't there. I have just tracked the parcel and it is not where they said it was but at the depot still. Why email saying it is ready to be collected when clearly it isn't. My husband will now not have his father's day present. I am not impressed. This is the first time I have purchased anything from this company.

We are really sorry to hear the issue you have had with your delivery.
However according to your tracking details it seems that your delivery has been attempted twice on 14th and 15th June to your address.
Then as requested, your parcel is being delivered to Sainsbury's - Harpenden and DPD mentioned on your tracking details that they will notify you when it is ready for you to collect.
Since your delivery has been unsuccessful twice and the collection point has been requested to be changed some delays occurred. Please note that your tracking details didn't mention that your parcel was ready to collect but held at their depot for a re-delivery to the new collection point.

Good But Charcoal Wouldn't Fit
Bottle arrived on time and well packaged. I don't think it's a problem but the charcoal was broken in two. What was more annoying was that it wouldn't fit through the neck of the bottle. I had to get a grater to shave one side - a bit of a messy job.
I left the filled bottle for about 12 hours and the water has a neutral taste which is what I'd expect (and hope for). I'll need to experiment a bit more to see if the same results apply to shorter times.
Postscript: Black + Blum kindly sent me another charcoal stick - great customer service!

I’m sorry to hear the issue you have had with your charcoal filter.
Due to the fact that the stick is an organic element, it is possible that the charcoal breaks inside the vacuumed pack.
Also, since the charcoal is a natural product, each stick can vary slightly in thickness and length but it shouldn't be an issue to fit it through the neck of the bottle. Therefore we are more than happy to replace your charcoal filter and you should receive it shortly.
