I rarely leave negative reviews
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.
I’ve been buying and skiing on Black Crows equipment for around 15 years and, until now, I’ve never had a reason to complain. I’ve always had a positive opinion of the company.
Unfortunately, when I finally received a genuinely faulty pair of skis, the after-sales service has been extremely disappointing.
I submitted a warranty claim in April. Black Crows accepted that the skis were defective and confirmed that I would receive a refund because a replacement was unavailable. Despite this, several months later I am still waiting for the refund and have had to send numerous follow-up emails just to chase what should have been a straightforward process.
What disappoints me most is not the warranty claim itself—manufacturing defects can happen with any company. It’s the way the situation has been handled afterwards. A loyal customer of many years should not have to spend months chasing a refund that has already been approved.
I sincerely hope Black Crows resolves this matter as soon as possible. However, based on my experience, the warranty and customer service process has fallen well below the standard I expected from a company whose products I have trusted for so many years.
