Stay clear of this scam
Money down the drain.
I made a claim for a faulty flywheel, clutch & gearbox but Blackstar replied within an hour of the claim stating that my " Gold cover " doesn't cover the flywheel and that the flywheel must have caused all the other damage. I looked through my policy and nowhere does it state that my policy won't cover work for a faulty flywheel.
This claim took about 2 weeks because of Blackstar purposely replying slowly but when it finally came to paying out it took them 1 hour to refuse with a pathetic excuse.
What should a car warranty cover, a gold cover at that? This company is just taking peoples money with no intention of paying out.
I now have to take this to the ombudsman and waste even more time. My advice is to stay way clear of these scam artists.

Stay away from these parasites
Stay away from these parasites. We had a gold six month warranty with these unscupulous con artists and when we claimed for work carried out to repair the car to make it safe against death or injury they treated us like dirt. I guess a dead customer is worth more to them than a live one. It's a rip off, they never pay out. save your money and go elsewhere.
