I'd take away stars if I were able to. This company runs on a pretty sketchy premise! I purchased a cookbook, never got it. I was told they refunded me, and I have jist come to learn that they have been charging me monthly fees. I'm not sure what I'm being charged for, since I didn't ever recieve a cookbook!

I ordered and paid for an online book and a hard copy book in January 2026
No problem with the online version but I have still not received my hard copy of the cookbook
After numerous emails and a variety of excuses I have requested a refund and this request has been met with a response that I am still on the mailing list.
All I would like after all this time is my money back but this is not forthcoming
I would not recommend this company due to their dishonest practices

I prefer baking my own bread so I know exactly what ingredients are going into it—store-bought brands are just too full of preservatives for my liking. Having high-quality tools makes the entire process effortless. These kits are amazing; the banneton basket makes proofing quick and shapes the sourdough perfectly. They feel incredibly durable and built to last for years of heavy use.

In February I placed an order for a cookbook, the baking dish and other things, they charged my credit card $900 CAD although the ad said it was $265. no mention of USD. I waited for my products to arrive. In March and April I sent reminders asking about updates for my products and was told that the sale caused a higher than normal order process and my order would be sent. This is July - still haven't received anything. Am getting bombarded with emails for recipes and more purchasing - would not recommend ordering or relying on good business practice with this company

I bought a Gluten Free Sourdough Recipe Book for around $25. Never received it. I took a $1 trial subscription at the same time. Not sure for what, but hey… it was $1. Never received notice of the actual price or when I’d be charged. A company called Vast Learning has charged me $39.95 three times. The same charge now comes in as eLearning Coursiv. I’ve tried to reach all three of these companies - impossible. And I still haven’t got my book.
Additional info: Bloom responded to my review with a request for more info and TrustPilot warned me that I had a deadline to respond or Bloom might accuse this review of not being genuine. This is my email response to Bloom, who said they couldn’t find any emails from me:
Hello, Rechel - I may well not have emailed Bloom directly. I tried to reach the payee name that showed up on Paypal. I found the whole process confusing. I mean, even this email comes from vest.media. What’s that?
And then there’s Vast Learning (which is what showed up first in Paypal) which now seems to have disappeared and the name is now eLearning Coursiv.
While I was buying the book, I accepted a $1 trial subscription. To what? Never clarified. But $1 seemed negligible, so I went ahead, assuming I’d receive - along with the book - a description of what I had temporarily subscribed to on a trial basis.
But: No book. And I have thus far paid $39.99 on April 16, May 14, and June 11 to Bloom (or to these surrogate Bloom payees). I’m feeling defrauded. Maybe this is a big misunderstanding, but the only acceptable resolution will be to reimburse these three $39.99 charges and get me the book!

Great experience! I love their recipes and the app is definitely cool. Not so sure about the negative reviews here. I took the $1 trial like others here and it clearly stated that it would turn into a subscription, which I am happy to keep, because it gives me access to their whole database of recipes.

I had paid for their services in Feb or March of 2025. After many attempts to log in and recieved what I paid for, I emailed and finally asked to cancel my subscription. Assuming this was done imagine my surprise when I was charged $127 in March of 2026! After contacting them they said they would refund this amount. On my April statement they had further charged my account another $29 dollars and then refunded that amount without refunding the original $127 that I had requested. Everyday in my email I get offers to buy more products from them but never received what I paid for to begin with. I would avoid this site at all costs.

This company is a scam. I received the product, but then tried to get a refund becuase I was not satisfied (which they say they have 100% money back gaurantee). Then, the next day they automatically charged me a fee of $127 for a 'membership' that I did not sign up for. If I inadvertently did, it was not made clear. There is no way to cancel anything. They have a refund form and support email address, but they do not respond. They have a 'chat' as well, but I did not get a response there either. I had to cancel my credit card and will be filing fraudulent charges against them.

Ordered the hard cover gluten free cookbook in Dec 2025. It’s now March and I still have not received the book. I’ve sent numerous emails asking for the book I paid for or a refund of my money and all I get is an automated response telling me how sorry they are that I’m experiencing a problem. Also charged me a membership I didn’t sign up for. This business is horrible, buyer beware!

I had cancelled the service within half an hour after I started it, as I was under the impression that all the books were one price. This was over a year ago. Then February 2026 I got a charge for $127 that my bank caught and stopped it. They also charged $7 five different times and I have been unlucky in getting a hold of them. My Bank may half to assist on this to get my money back and keep them from charging anymore. BEWARE!!!!!!!
Effective June 24, 2026 I finally got all of my money refunded. My advice is not to order anything from this company unless you are 100% sure that you understand everything that is written.

I bought a book from Bloom Cooking. (Incidentally never used ) and somehow they subscribed me to a service to access a website. I never received confirmation of subscription let alone knew about the website. In Dec 25 they took £95 from my account. I disputed this and they eventually refunded after they could not provide me with evidence of subscription. I received an email assuring me to rest assured I will not be charged again - only to have more money taken from my account in January 26. When I queried they told me that I had re subscribed but again could not provide me with details. They have refunded. I have now asked my bank to block all requests for payments from this company and provided them with copies of correspondence. Be extremely careful of buying anything from Bloom Coooking. They have obviously kept my personal details including my bank details despite asking for the right to be forgotten. My recommendation is to give them a wide berth.

I can find no method to unsubscribe my subscription. The customer service number is not in service and my emails remain unanswered. I will be filing a complaint with the consumer protection agency. AWFUL!

I think this company is a total scam. I signed up for a $1.00 two-week trial and then promptly canceled it way before the 2 weeks were up. They continued to charge my credit card $29 for the next 3 months. I contacted them and they were slow to reimburse, so I contacted my credit card company and had them blocked. Luckily my credit card company reimbursed me, but after I told Bloom I contacted the credit card, they refused to reimburse and let the credit card company do it. Ther are lots of complaints about this company and I would advise anyone not to do business with them.
