It was easy to relate to this topic and you can tell the Instructor was very passionate and knowledgeable about this Autism class. It was a great idea that the county offered this class. As an SRO I deal with kids on the spectrum quite a bit. Even though I was aware of quite a bit of the information presented I learned new things to try and to use which was great. Also coming from the aspect and also an Officer brings this in to a whole new light. Definitely will share this training with other officers and also with school staff.

The obvious signs that we’re sitting right in front of me, make much more sense to me now. I will be able to use this as a guide in my professional career in law-enforcement.

Honestly this informed me on so many ways to look at different forms of communication and better evaluate the situation. Also now being able to slightly understand some clues to identify if someone who we come in contact with maybe on the spectrum and better ways to communicate and handle the situation. This will be a great tool to utilize for myself and my fellow LEOs.

It was a compelling training with good video and visual aid integration. It ran a little long but was easy to break up in smaller segments.

I have taken many Autism Awareness trainings in the past and although I have gotten a little bit out of each of them, your training was informative from the very start. Between talking about your own experiences with your son, on the job experiences, as well as characteristics of other Autistic children was great. The training that Blue Bridge provides is an eye opener. I also have a son that is autistic and this opened my eyes to a lot. There is a lot of great information that is vital to our profession. This training hit home to me.

This course is presented by an individual who has a great personal interest and desire to help others understand what Autism is. He is very knowledgeable and caring on all aspects of autism. Very helpful course

This is incredibly valuable information for everyone, but especially for first responders who are trained to approach these behaviors in specific ways. I don't think this course could have been delivered nearly as effectively by anyone other than Jerry. His depth of experience and the level of detail he provides make this course truly unique, and likely unmatched elsewhere.

As an LEO and father to an Autistic son, I have many of the same fears and with the trend of the explosion of autism diagnoses, it is imperative that we understand and respond accordingly to these individuals in a safe and empathetic manner. I would 100% recommend this training to EVERYONE.

Excellent program. As a Family Physician and EMS medical director I found this course extremely informative and valuable. Especially since I grew up working in the swim club/water park industry. Even as Physicians this is a topic we get little education and the instructions insights on Autism was eye opening.

I have a niece that was diagnosed with autism when she was 3. I've experienced some of the things that were discussed. However, when scenarios were given it brought out a whole new meaning for me. It was things that you wouldn't typically think about. It was definitely eye opening for sure! I really enjoyed this training. Jerry was informative, attentive, and kept the whole room engaged. I definitely recommend this training to all first responders. It's very crucial knowledge!
