We have had Blue Flame maintain our oil-fired system for nearly 10 years. The standard of service they provide is excellent .

You have a really helpful and efficient team. Appointments are arranged to suit the customer wherever possible. Engineers are friendly and informative.

We booked a gas fire service in the summer to pre-empt the fire letting us down in the winter months. The fire was serviced in September while the weather was still warm. We went to use the fire in early November to find that the pilot had gone out and we couldn't restart it. They wanted to charge a call-out fee but after a negotiation I agreed I would pay a fee if it was a new problem. As it happened, the different engineer found the air hole was blocked and there was a great deal of dust at the back of the fire. He cleaned and hoovered the dust and it worked perfectly (perhaps an operation that should have been done with the service). After he left we found the flame burning unevenly and Googled to find this could point to a safety issue so we called them back. The third engineer found that the cause was just the logs hadn't been replaced exactly correctly. I received an invoice for the second engineer's visit but this was immediately cancelled. From telephone contact right through to the engineers the company are professional, courteous and explain all operations thoroughly. The engineers always text when they are on the way to you, and all are a pleasure to have in your house. Despite the hiccough I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Because someone is home all day, I would call this a five-star service company. I have given them only four because if one had to have time off work to meet the engineer, three half days would have been lost on this occasion.

Excellent service. The engineer arrived on time and was meticulous in installing the new radiator, making sure that there was no damage to the work area and ensuring there was no mess or water leakage. The area was left clean and tidy. He was a credit to "Blue Flame"
