I ordered a magazine for my a level photography exam, and I have to say I was shocked at how poor the quality was. Not for the magazine itself, more so the printing quality. It had lines all across the pages, some places missed the ink all together and some had almost a glitch effect on the pages. I was totally disgusted by the print quality of this magazine and for the price id never recommend or order from this company again. Terrible company and complete rip off.

I love Blurb. The simplicity in making the book, the special offers and then the quality of the book and all at a great price.

I like how my book cane out. It's polished and the delivery cane on time. This book printing service is quality for anyone in University doing their major projects.

Books great but slight unexplained delay on delivery

The finished product is great but I found Bookwright very difficult to navigate.
When I used the “do it all for me” button many of the photos were cut in hall or were just n odd part of the photograph. Where there was the option of two photos side by side they were either tiny or touching each other. I would have liked the option of a bigger photo but still with a white edge round it.
Maybe I will gradually get used to it. It wasn’t easy. But I am delighted with the finished book (a present for my husband) even though some of the pages are. Bit squiffy!

I make a book every year of the previous year's photos I have taken - one for each week. I find that Blurb books always do them justice and for me (a technophobe) the process is relatively straight forward.

Over the past 12 years or so, I've been choosing Blurb to produce my photograph albums - about 30 to date - and have found no reason to change because they are invariably excellent. In addition, I find Booksmart very easy to use and have recommended it to photographer friends.

To say that I am extremely pleased with Blurb would be a major understatement. Thus far, Blurb has enabled me to publish eight trade books in all, five on popular science topics, two on steam trains and one on poetry. The print quality of all these books (which included numerous colour images, varying fonts, charts, graphs and diagrams) has been superlative. Equally impressive has been the speed with which the books were printed; the superb packaging of the books so as to avoid damage during transit and the excellent customer care, including assistance to make alterations when required. Given the ongoing instability in the global economy, the amounts charged by Blurb for printing the books (coupled with their generous discounts) has been very reasonable, to say the least. Unsurprisingly, I will most definitely continue to get my forthcoming books printed through the good offices of Blurb who provide a service, par excellence.

Use the Lightroom function and ordered several books great and easy to use. So recently ordered a larger quality which I have still not received. I recommend Blurb re-look at postal options and provide these options at the order stage e.g. standard first class tracked, courier etc. Very confusing delivery with their partner Fedex. More information needed about books classed as imports.

Wonderful job! My project was a present for a friend. She is a poet, who works every day to overcome disabilities. Some of her poems are just magnificent in their simplicity and it has meant the world to her to have a beautifully produced hardback book of her favourite poems. Blurb has helped me to show her how special she is. Thank you.

This is a review of issue 4 of a magazine "2 Pens and a Paintbox in Europe". The magazine format is ideal for a series of drawings, pictures and photographs together with an accompanying journal. These are a very personal reminder of past travels made by a couple, one an amateur artist the other a talented writer. To say we are delighted with the outcome is an understatement. The illustrations and photographs are enhanced by the reproduction team, and in turn set off the words taken directly from a journal. These magazines give us pleasure in production and seem to be well received by family members.
Blurb is a great company to work with and has always presented our efforts to maximum effect. Fast, efficient and professional really does describe this firm.

I’m delighted with my first self-published book, The Sussex Surrealist. It was great to write and design my book on my laptop, before uploading the completed document to the Blurb website. I had to email some queries through but the replies were helpful and resolved an initial problem.

Terrible service- failed on the first order but only did anything because I chased an order 2 weeks late. The solution- cancel the order and tell me to reorder... then have that order be late too.

I have used Blurb many times and find it easy to use, by far the best photo book system out. Easy to arrange photos exactly where you want them, plenty of different options on text and page colour. I have used to make holiday albums along with christenings and weddings.
