Wasted almost 100 bucks purchasing a bobble doll from these guys. I went on their website "WEBOBBLE.COM" to purchase a doll for a buddy of mine. I sent a couple pictures. Paid more to have it expedited and waited for the proofs to come in. A couple weeks later, they emailed me a proof of the doll. Looked no where close to the my friend's face. They give you the option to either Approve or Deny and then ask that you outline what changes need to be made.

It's almost like they have a template for a set of dolls and then whatever is closest to the subject, they take a picture of it and send it to the customer. Then they ask how to change it so that it looks more like the subject.

WE'RE NOT THE DESIGNERS HERE!!! YOU GUYS ARE!!!! HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSE TO TELL WHAT CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE??? WE'RE NOT THE EXPERTS MAKING THE DOLLS!!!

They also send you the proofs not colored. I gave them an outline of the changes I think should be made, (because you know, I'm the designer here now) and sent them additional pictures. They sent me proofs back again, I told them the nose was still off, so they pushed it down. Since the doll wasn't colored I figured the shape of the doll's face is somewhat close to my friends. So I approved. Then when I got the colored proof back (the point where no more changes can be made) it looks NO WHERE NEAR MY FRIENDS FACE!!! They added facial features my friend doesn't even have!!!

Since it's already colored and the Christmas party was a week away, I couldn't do anything else but to have them send it out. Such a waste of money.

Also, it's obvious why they need you to outline the changes. They have people over in CHINA making these dolls. (Return address comes from CHANG PING TOWN in DONGUAN)

Definitely not worth the pay! They send you almost perfect samples yet your proofs are nothing like the photos sent in. Days and days of back and forth details they still simply could not get it right. With them being the artist I should not have to go back and forth more than 10 times on how they should sculpt the doll or what they should change or add. My dolls looked nothing like the photos. I was very disappointed but as a fathers day gift with time ticking I had no choice but to approve just so it can be shipped in time. I will admit they give quick responses but just the artist work overall was a complete disaster and waste of time and money. I should have got my husband something else. I dont even want to see his face once he opens it as I am disappointed it looks nothing like him nor my son. Money down the drain. Don't let their perfect samples fool you! =(

This bobble head is of good quality and it looks very nice. It actually looks like the person I intended! I really like this bobble head and plan on keeping a long time. It is bigger than I expected but that is OK, it still looks very nice. The shipping time was also amazing, I confirmed my last proof on Saturday and I got my bobble head on Tuesday !

We had to approved the head without be painted,so how can we approve something that we can't see that look like us,the artist that made our heads made somebody else,i spent around $400 to make 2 bobble heads for our wedding cake,we can't even use it,it doesn't look like us,we told them about the problem and they just didn't care,all about their money and no customer satisfaction....AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I spent $170 on a custom upgraded bobble head for my most important client. This lady has everything so it was really hard finding something she would love that she didn't already have. This was a great idea. I went through the proofing process and it was great. I sent back many changes and every time they did a great job. When I received the bobble head it looked "exactly" like my client. EXCEPT there was a large blotch of dried clay on the base and it ruined the whole thing. How could the designer NOT have caught that. Such a bummer. I can't give it to my client so now it's worthless. I tried sending a few emails the other day and now have tried several different emails with no avail. Was almost blown away, but now super disappointed. If I hear from them I will update.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE use this company or any other company that this company represents itself as:

They provide a terrible service and even worse customer service. I went back and forth with them over a two month span via a 22-email exchange. I had approved the head/face during the sculpting process. However, when they sent the painted "final" proof, the head they painted was NOT the original head that I had painstakingly worked with them to approve during the molding process. At some point, I assume, they lost "approved" head in the factory in China and then just cobbled together a new, substandard head for the bobblehead doll to try to cover up their mistake. The painted head was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT head from the one that I had approved in the pre-painting, sculpting process. After MULTIPLE emails pointing this out, they refused to make any changes.

To add insult to injury, the "stock" body of the bobblehead doll was DIFFERENT from the stock body I chose from the website choices. The body they used had a different shirt, with a different collar and different accessories. It was supposed to be a medical scrub shirt (which looked ok on the website example). The final product, though, was awful. There was a seam down the front of the scrub shirt (which no scrub shirt has) , and they put a "popped" collar on the shirt (when scrub shirts don't even have collars). Both of these details are not on the example they show on the website. Because the collar was so messed up, the accessory stethoscope they painted on looked half-done. These would have been easy fixes. However, after multiple email exchanges once again, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Their INSULTING response was :

"All work is all hand sculpted and hand painted. Some items received can vary from the premade bodies seen on the website, although we try to represent the images accurately."

I understand there might be some “artistic interpretation” with the head because those are customized. However, it is unacceptable that there are MAJOR differences on the “stock” pre-made bodies from what is advertised and what is delivered.

This company is a SCAM. It’s likely 2 people in an office in Florida that are profiting off sweatshops in China that are making these things. Given that the product is made in China by workers with little to no English skills, it is an arduous process EVEN just to have them make changes. All of which didn’t matter in the end since the multiple emails back and forth during the sculpting process were for naught since they ended up LOSING the head they spent so much time perfecting.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND IT’S SISTER COMPANIES, unless you want a two month long GIANT, frustrating headache of a purchase.

I commissioned a bobblehead of our late doggie, a beautiful brindle pit bull who passed in January, as a father's day gift. I sent pictures and wrote a detailed description mentioning his BRINDLE coat, brown with gold highlights. When I got the final proof I was shocked and disappointed to see a flat brown pit bull. I'm sure I could have found one of those online for well under $140. His coat is the only distinguishing feature they really had a chance of capturing. So I denied the proof, asking for his coat to be improved. When they sent back the "improvement" I was even more disappointed. It looked like they dipped a brush in dirty water and made a few sad little stripes on the dog. No attempt to make it look like a realistic coat. But why would they put effort in? They already had my non-refundable money. Then I go 5 days without hearing from them after giving them my final, disappointed approval. I message them twice checking on the status as it should have shipped already, and the day I approved it I asked that they send it without signature required as it's not always easy to catch someone at home during the day. 6 days later we get home to find a sticker on the door that we had missed the delivery, still no email no shipping notification from the swindlers. So we open the box and it's a cute dog head and all, which barely barely moves let alone bobbles. The body is even more disappointing in person. My partner was gracious but had it been executed well his reaction would have been much more satisfying. I once gave him a keychain with our dogs pictures on either side and the man cried. It's hard to mess up a gift depicting his dogs, but somehow they managed. So disappointing, outraging, and awful "customer service," though I hesitate to say this is something they even provide. I would give negative stars if possible.

I wanted to take a brief moment to compliment HD Design for making the most wonderful custom bobblehead dolls. They were made fast and received well.

Bobblemaker is really above the rest when it comes to quality and amazing details in making bobble head dolls. I truly believe out of 4 different dolls I ordered from other companies, this one is the best. I received proofs during the process and the doll arrived sooner than I expected.

I read the review that this other person wrote and really would imagine they used another company because bobblemaker has been amazing in every way. Although, I did my homework on reviews and by far they have the most out there on bobbleheads, so many good words, it would not surprise me to have a couple of bad apples... But not this guy!!

The Bobble head proof that was sent to me for approval was vastly different from the doll I received. The paint job was absolutely childish, I wish I could provide pictures here. The forgot the Name-Plate which is half of it being customized. Customer service was horrible as well. Stance of No-Refund policy as opposed to being an honorable company and admitting the doll shipped was vastly different from the one I was shown in the approval process. My wife hated the doll, didn't even realize it was supposed to be her, the hair actually had a bunch of dents in it as well, like it had been dropped. 186.00 down the drain!

Update: Here is their response to the fact they did not include the customized nameplate on the customized doll:
"We are sorry the name plate was missed. If was approved without it so it did go through the process. However we already have refunded the name plate fee to your paypal payment account. This may take 1-3 days to appear but I assure you, we have provided it earlier.
Again, sorry"

They never sent a picture of the whole body after the head was attached, also, they proofs that were sent for approval were "un-painted", one would assume that the nameplate would have been attached after the painting process, not before. That's common sense. So, an 8.00 refund on a 180.00 order is supposed to rectify the fact that what I ordered I did not receive.

Fantastic job of producing a product that I am totally happy with. There were a few bugs during the process but all of my concerns and changes were made to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a first-class bobble head. I will be ordering many more in the future. Thank you for your customer support and attention to detail.

I ordered a bobblehead (doctor, white lab coat, stethoscope around the neck) for a medical school graduation gift. My bobblehead was completed very efficiently. I requested slight changes during both of the proof review processes. The changes were completed quickly (36 hrs) and new proofs were sent to me. I received my bobblehead two days after sending my final approval. It arrived looking great! I couldn't be more pleased with this gift.

I was very pleased with the end result and the recipient was surprised and delighted. It took a good amount of back and forth communication to create the likeness; I felt like I was asking for so many changes but the people I dealt with were patient and fulfilled each request until I was satisfied with the result. The process took longer than I anticipated, and I was concerned about receiving the doll in time for the retirement party. Although I was sweating it out, the people rallied and made sure the bobblehead doll arrived on time for the retirement party. The gift ws a hit with everyone; I would definitely order one again!

My significant other is a National Champion College QB and retired professional football player. He has always said there is ONE THING he always wanted but never had: His own bobblehead night! I obsessively looked into every possible custom bobblehead option for his birthday. I wanted quality at a reasonable price. The final product is AMAZING! What a pleasure it was to order from this company. I called to ask questions and then to inquire about quicker delivery options: their customer service was impressive. The bobblehead looks EXACTLY like the photo I sent - and the Mount Union uniform is PERFECT! Even the 3 dimensional aspect of is exact.... right down to the length and cut of his hair! Everyone that has seen it wants one! Jim said it is the best gift he has ever gotten - and immediately tweeted pictures of it when he opened it! I have not seen one bad review or heard anything negative about Custom Bobblehead Dolls. I will most definitely be ordering more - it is truly the most fun gift to give to someone! And you never have to wait for your own bobblehead night at a stadium - Now we say that EVERY NIGHT IS BOBBLEHEAD NIGHT AT OUR HOUSE!

This was given to me as a gift. I didn't know what it was. I started to open the box, as I looked in I saw through the bubble wrap and I saw what looked like the image of black hair and I just started to laugh. I knew that my friend being the person he is was giving me something "different". As I opened it up there "I" was just "bobbling" away. This was truly the perfect gift. I told him it was one of the best gifts I have ever received because it is the only one in existence..........I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I have a very good friend who has done obove and beyond to help me and I wanted to find a unique gift for his birthday. I choose the "superman" bobblehead because that is what he has been to me over the past year. The bobblehead came easlier then promised which gave me enough time to get it ready for his birthday. He was totally surprised and thought it was AWESOME! Thanks to all who helped me make it a special day for him.

My custom bobble head turned out great - the recipient loved it and it came MUCH faster than the 4-6 week estimate. Great gift!

I wanted to get something "special" for my Dad's 90th Birthday, and I got the perfect gift! The Bobblehead was exactly the ticket! The communication was awesome, the finished product was perfect! I cannot wait to surprise my Dad with it at his party in June! It said 4 - 6 weeks but the entire process took less than a week! Thank you so much!!

I was shocked that BBH was delivered before the time that I asked for. It was two weeks early! I have had at least three changes of the proofs and still received fantastic service.
The doll-head replication was as good as I could expect from a photo.
I wish that price was less, however.(what do you think, everyone wants a deal)

I loved how the staff would work with me with the minor details. Send me pictures after the changes for review before moving forward. Most of the bobbleheads look identical to the people. The key is to have a side view along with a front view for the sculptor. It is hard to describe shapes of noses via email. Having a picture would be much easier. This made a very unique gift for my wedding party and everybody loved them! Thank you!
