Horrible experience with Bolt
Horrible experience with Bolt! Despite the restaurant being a 5-minute walk away, the courier was 15 minutes late and refused to bring my food to the door, making me walk down from the 4th floor. After waiting outside for 5 minutes with no delivery, I went back up, only to have the courier waiting at the wrong apartment. Customer support was unhelpful, connecting me to a useless AI before finally routing me to a human agent who told me to wait and then closed the chat. Avoid Bolt and choose Wolt instead!

Lamentável todo o processo, desde a entrega ao apoio técnico.
Começo por informar que foi um verdadeiro pesadelo o último (sim, último e para sempre) pedido nesta plataforma e, tenho de recuar a 14 de maio quando do um pedido que, segundo indicação da plataforma podia demorar entre 10 a 20 minutos
Passaram os 30 minutos e nenhuma informação sobre o pedido. Aos 40 minutos, começo a ver o estafeta já com o meu pedido mas por paragens a, cerca de, 1km do meu local. Nessa altura contacto o suporte técnico com a questão da demora e, sobretudo, com a questão de o motorista andar já longe de mim para efetuar uma entrega. Neste suporte nada fizeram senão enviar mensagens automáticas a informar que estavam a verificar toda a situação. Fui fazendo prints e enviando para a conversa com o suporte. Sempre no mesmo sentido, a verificar. Ao fim de 1 hora e SMS a entrega, liguei para o motorista. O qual não percebia nada do que lhe dizia, ou seja, percebi depois não falava português e pareceu-me que não percebia nada também. Eu disse, na aplicação que nesta altura já não queria a comida pois estaria fria e sabe-se lá como andava pós já tinha percorrido kms pela cidade de Coimbra. 1h:10m toca à campainha o estafeta, com o pedido, deixei subir e eis qual não é o meu espanto, os sacos de embalamento todos violados "Burger King". Respondo imediatamente que não queria aquilo e que levasse de volta, o estafeta sem falar quase nada disse que não que a compra estava feita e que a culpa era da Bolt. Tirei fotos e enviei para o suporte e, imediatamente, deitei tudo no lixo. O quanto me custou pois há demasiada gente a passar fome e eu a deitar comida fora. Após 40 minutos no suporte fizeram um reembolso de 1,50€. E que fariam o restante num prazo máximo de 14 dias, percebi eu. Nada até agora e já nem respondem no suporte. Hoje mesmo tentei contactar e estou há mais de 1 hora à espera que alguém me diga algo. Em português nada e pedi em inglês que seria mais breve e... Nada.
Unprofessional Customer Support
Dear Bolt Food Support Team,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the handling of my recent issue by your customer support team.
On 6 May, I placed an order via Bolt Food in Limassol, Cyprus. After encountering a problem with this order, I submitted a complaint the following day, on 7 May. Initially, I was informed that compensation would be provided, although the amount was never specified. When I followed up for clarification, I was suddenly told that compensation was no longer possible due to the time that had passed—despite my complaint being submitted just one day after the order. I reviewed your terms and conditions and found no reference to such a time limit.
To make matters worse, the support team began offering conflicting reasons for refusing compensation, without ever clearly explaining why I was no longer eligible. Even more concerning is that the support team showed no real intention of resolving my issue and has since stopped responding entirely. This dismissive attitude toward a loyal customer is unacceptable and deeply frustrating.
Over the past month alone, I placed 35 orders and paid for a Bolt+ subscription. Despite this loyalty, I was treated with indifference and ultimately ignored. I am deeply convinced that any company committed to providing customer service cannot and should not operate in this manner.
I have kept a record of our entire correspondence and now expect this case to be reviewed by your central support team. Please provide a clear and justified explanation of your position, along with a reconsideration of the compensation that was initially offered.

Just deleted my bolt app
Just deleted my bolt app. I got wrong item delivered from MC, i was not able to upload pictures as they had issues with their app. I just asked to refund the burger and service fee. Answer was you have to upload picture. Communication lasted almost 1h for 5eur!!! You joking what kind of service is this. And i was plus member… like whaaat. Never again!
Bolt helps defraud me/ steals from me
Somebody must have gotten a hold of my credit card details and used it to order on bolt food. I immediatly saw this and reported it to bolt food within a minute of the charge happening.
bolt support refused to help and delayed me in chat and did not stop the order.
So in essence bolt was able to stop the theft but decided to instead help the criminals actively.
It is even more damming that this specific card had only been used at bolt for an extended time period.
So i have to assume that bolt was in on the theft.

Liguei para o restaurante e a funcionária me falou que já tinha entrego o pedido sendo que o estafeta não recolheu o pedido, e não me foi dado nem uma satisfação!

Today it was the last day I order from Bolt Foods, I order two pizzas they come to me after 40 minutes from the retreat. I wanted to deliver the frozen pizzas I refused them and I also lost the money. The worst service on the Maltese territory .Bad bad service I delete immediately the app.

Mas são os intermediários e deviam atuar como tal e resolver a situação com o cliente e com o restaurante em causa....pessimo serviço

Very Disappointed with Bolt Food
I placed an order and pay online on January 28, 2025, but the delivery was never made. The courier marked it as “delivered,” but I never received it. I’ve tried reaching out to support multiple times, but they’ve completely ignored me.
As a pregnant woman, this was especially frustrating. Terrible customer service and delivery.

Awful greedy corporation
They avoid all responsibilities. Although there's a maximum of 15 minutes from the pizza place to my home address, the pizza arrived cold. The delivery guy had to pick up and deliver other orders before mine. The pizza arrived cold. But, from Bolt's point of view, it was delivered within the time frame, 40 minutes later after it was ready for pick-up.
Made a complaint to Bolt, but they avoided any responsibility.
