This was my second foray into publishing, the first with Bookslake, and it was awesome! The team and especially Ana, were responsive and proactive at every turn. Questions were answered, problems were solved and my second book was published without a hitch. I’m not very tech savvy so I struggled with the portal a bit …. But again the team was on call to help address my needs. My 3rd and 4 th volumes will be handled through Bookslake again. 5 stars

My experience with BooksLake and especially my PM, Ana Mark, was just exceptional. Ana guided me through the process of getting my book published and literally took me by the hand. Her Staff was beyond creative and the finished product went far beyond my expectations. I can’t say enough about how professional Ana was and we actually became great friends as our relationship grew. BooksLake is a great publishing company.

I published my wild and crazy memoir, A Boomer's
Tale, in January this year with a ton of exceptional help from BooksLake, I billed this as sex, drugs, rock and roll, drug smuggling, true-crime books, venture capital and nanotechnology. A wide range that BooksLake editors helped shape into a book getting a ton of five-star reviews. And editors there have just launched a campaign to market it much more widely.

Perhaps my highest appreciation is the timely response from the team. When I made an adjustment to my book cover, manuscript or ask a question they would respond very quickly – usually within hours.

The editors and the art department staff, are intelligent, patient, compassionate and highly creative professionals who have met my every request in an extremely timely manner beyond what I could have hoped. Bookslake created an appealing book cover for me. They went through all the text in my book and corrected numerous errors. They responded very quickly to questions I had and changes I wanted to make and were very helpful in the process. The service they provided cost me $300 in total, which I would have been happy to have spent just to have a nice book cover made for me. I really liked working with Bookslake and am really pleased with the final product.

The pros I worked with at Bookslake were wonderful! Not only did they edit my manuscript but turned it into a great-looking book with a fabulous cover! They were prompt in reading my ms, getting me proofs, and fixing my changes, all within my requested four-week deadline. What I can say is that if you want a positive experience and very quick results for your project, do not hesitate to contact and engage this company. I did, and was overwhelmingly surprised to find that my manuscript was handled efficiently at every step of the publishing project. I had Nicholas handle my project, and Anna is doing a very nice job handling PR for my book. I might add they are not that expensive and will work with your project as if it were their own.

I’m globally satisfied. During the process, I realized how many details they have to managed. I’ve started with Nicholas, followed by Jack. I thanks them for their patience as there was many adjustments to do.

Now the publication is done, and I hope it will be successful for all of us.

The edit and formatting process for me was very easy. It was also done timely, and the Books Lake team was prompt in responding and providing information as needed. The whole process only took 45 calendar days.

All of the support personnel were courteous, helpful and patient through the process.
