Said the book was in stock and 5-10 business days. Was a Christmas present. Book not arrived and they changed it to 'backorder' on their website after I ordered it and had paid extra because no other sites had the book. Be wary if they say book is in stock and it appears to be a scarce book elsewhere because they use third parties but dont disclose that. Many similar reviews.

Extremely fast delivery, packaged very well and the prices are incomparable to other websites. I always love to order from here.

They offered a good selection of books in my area of interest (history) at good prices. Delivery was quick, even in the lead-up to the holidays. Everything arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. Will definitely continue to use them!

I ordered Vagabond volume 5 off booktopia and it came in a hard cardboard box that safely protected my product from any bends or such damage.They shipped it in 2 days and then stated it would arrive in 5 business days. It didnt but not to their fault ( it was burnt in a truck fire accident and quickly came afterwards).

Ordering was quick and easy with Booktopia. The books came well packaged and in perfect condition.

I ordered a gift-wrapped book (Australia, by Tony Abbott) for my sister's birthday (11/11/25), on 28/10/25.
It was delivered to an address I have never heard of.
Booktopia told me that is my problem, as I should have checked the delivery address, and it is their policy to not correct the problem.
I have bought about 10 books a year for the past 10 years or so, and have never had a problem until now, and I told them this.
Despite this, they were prepared to lose me as a customer. And they have.

I chose to support Booktopia rather than Amazon but wish I hadn’t now. Their website claimed the book I wanted for a Christmas present was in stock with delivery within 10-15 days. I ordered in early November. Turns out not only is it not in stock, it still hasn’t arrived from their supplier and they don’t know when it will arrive. Never again.

Edit: I’ve responded to their reply below. They can’t help with getting the order any faster. I requested a refund but 5 days later, they haven’t processed it. I paid via PayPal so it should have been instantaneous.

I love reading there books fast delivery. I would recommend to friends to buy them.

The past two orders have taken over 20 days to be delivered. Website claims 10-15days delivery but this is not correct.

Book was in good condition but if you're wanting anything within a month id order somewhere else.

Easy to make an order communication was excellent from putting in an order to being updated on shipping packaging was good definitely will order again 5 star review

It is easy to buy on there site and then delivery and updates plus packaging is all done very well.
Prices are standard to what it is elsewhere.

I placed an online order for 3 books on the 14 November 2025 and paid $86.95 on that day. I finally received the order in the mail on the 25 November only to discover only one book was sent. I rang and enquired about the other books and was told that they had just received one from their supplier and they would send that out to me. The other would take about another week and a half to get to them I was advised, and then the same amount of time again to get to me. All three books were written in Australia by Australians. And all were paid for weeks in advance of me actually receiving them. They were all supposed to be gifted to someone this week, but now I have to wait until I receive the second book and the third i've cancelled and asked for a refund as that was going to take another 3 weeks to get to me. I was not advised at all of these massive time issues. I will never ever use this company again to purchase any books. Severely shocking customer service.

The site is easy to use. I found my item at a great price. It was packaged well and sent quickly. It arrived in perfect condition and exactly as described. I will definitely be shopping here again.

Booktopia was the only supplier who had a book I was. Basing for my sister’s birthday - all the well known physical and online book retailers had no stock. The price was very competitive too. I had to factor in the 2 weeks for delivery but was happy to do so.

The shopping experience itself was fine, but they sold me 11 copies of a book that they only had three copies in stock for. It wasn't until the three copies shipped that I found out I wasn't getting the other eight, and that I wouldn't be getting them till early December.

To their credit, they did refund the value of the 8 books, but don't say you have the items in stock in the quantity I want and not be able to fulfil the order.

I ordered a travellers map of Ireland and it was very fast delivery and a fantastic product!
It has helped up plan our stops to throughout Ireland, it's waterproof and has little stickers to help along the way!
Very happy with my map!
