I had transplanting done by bosley. They left stiches in that are not dissolving. I am in constant discomfort going on 7 years now. I went to them for help and was not take care of. First Class Experience
From the moment I arrived in Bosley's Dallas office I was treated like a VIP. I was greeted by Office Manager Laura Wilbanks and Senior Counselor Trey Little who both took time to make me comfortable and explain the necessary paperwork to me. Dr. Julie Kilgore was amazing, her cheerful friendliness helped to dissolve my anxiety and I could tell that she truly enjoys what she does. I felt at ease with her througout my procedure, which last all day, and her calm confidence and positivity was refreshing. Her whole team - Doinell, Ameshia, Alena, Jose, Rebekah, Liz, Brooke and Lesley had me feeling like a rock star because they doted on me throughout the day and happily answered my questions. Special thank you to Doinell for going out of his way to make sure I wasn't feeling any pain, his kind and patient spirit was something special. As I told the team that day, I felt like I was seeing a finely tuned machine in operation. Everyone knew their job, did it cheerfully and I sensed no angst or frustration among the different people. What a nightmare
What a nightmare. The amount of time I spent with local consultations with Just for Men that is owned by bosley is unbelievable I must have spent 4 hours and constellation locally finally have the appointment in Orlando which was 2 and 1/2 hours away spent the night. Next day bright and early 8:00 a.m. had the surgery I was surprised how painful it was halfway through the medication didn't seem to work maybe it's just me I don't know but what I do know is the results were horrendous I spent $10,000 and they did about 50% what they said they were going to do a year later they said it's common to have a second treatment well for another $10,000 count me out not happening. I purposely spent what they told me to get and I really couldn't believe how poor of a job they did I would have to possibly spend another $10,000 to get it where it's supposed to be I'll pass and I'll go with another company when I have the money. But my God for $10,000 you better off with a professional wig.

Get A Guarantee In Writing
I had my procedures done in 2012 and 2013. My hair grew in after 6 months but now it’s thinning and doesn’t look like it did when I first had it done. This transplant is supposed to last the rest of your life and it doesn’t.
I spent 25,000. and I’m thinking of suing them. Don’t trust anything they say. If you have something done get in in writing with a guarantee. I have a smiley scar on the back of my head that’s visible when I get a haircut.
In addition, my brother had a transplant on the same day as me at the same exact time in another room. He has lost all that hair.
Their trick is to get you in for 3 procedures and I overheard a staff member in a meeting while I was in the waiting room. I’m getting a lawyer over this, it’s not right. I called Bosleys 800 number and complained about this and they informed me I would get a call back. That never happened. Notice there’s no response to my review which shows they’re scared and wrong. Don’t give them your money even if they promise you the moon.
Great Experience
I had a great experience with Bosley and Dr. Parungao and his team. The service was phenomenal beginning with the free consultation from Maribeth who answered all my questions to the great work on Dr. Parungao and his team. Everyone was very friendly and most importantly did excellent work. Dr. Parungao is an artist with his work and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The recovery was quick! I never felt pain or discomfort after the procedure. I highly recommend Bosley Chicago with Dr. Parungao and his great staff. Job well done!!

My elderly father was told he could…
My elderly father was told he could grow hair. He believed Bosley "expert" and was quoted a price of $3,000. When he committed to procedure all of a sudden it was $9,000! He went through a VERY painful process that poked holes in his scalp causing many small scabs and bleeding. It made the little bit of hair he had fall out. NOTHING new grew. The same hair he had just grew back. He made an appointment at Bosley to get money back, as stated in his contract. The so called expert determined ge had grown hair so he could not have his money back. I have before and after pictures showing there was absolutely no change in the amount of hair on his head. They completely took advantage of an elderly man, who just list his wife of 40 years and looking for anything to make him a little happier. I am in the process of filing an elderly abuse complaint with the attorney general. I am also going to contact local news stations asking them to do a consumer complaint story. Do not use this company. They have absolutely no morals at all!

26 M, black, I had my procedure in September of 2020 and the goal was 1400 grafts. The doctor only picked out 700 and said that would be enough I was assured with the guarantee they provided also. 6 month check up I was assured they were still growing and everything would be fine. 1 year and now their story is there is nothing they can do other than spend thousands more on another procedure and no mention of their guarantee anymore. I would not recommend it. Now I'm left with scars on the back of my head and don't even have the option of going bald anymore because of these permanent scars. Either I get used to my jacked-up patchy hairline or take out another lone for another procedure when I haven't even finished paying off the first one.

I didn't get any results from my first…
I didn't get any results from my first transplant in NY office. I was a fool to do a second transplant with a different doctor. This time a little better but far from what I wanted. Overall I won't recommend Bosley. Avoid it at any cost.
Headaches
Surgeon I got in Atlanta did a horrible job, I've had headaches now for years and it keeps getting worse. He left me scarred and when I shave my head people think I've had brain surgery from the scar. I never had headaches before. Had mine done in 2011.

Deleted my review from two days ago. heard back from them today, didn't take the call. read the text they sent and told me it can take up to 6 months to a year. so I will gave them the benefit of the doubt for 4 more months, then I will repost my review
