Major Scam Company - read reviews not on their site!!
Send all substitutions that are far less in value - there are 100s of complaints online - some are actually laughable - I paid $120 for an $18 24 pack of beer. Is there some guy in an apartment buying cheap stuff and sending out? Seems like!!! I just submitted to Federal Trade Commission since a scam of large proportion!Your Next Steps

Bait-and-Switch: Received Completely Different (and Much Cheaper) Items Than Advertised – Do Not Order!
I ordered the "Ultimate Black Label BroCrate" for about $160, expecting a premium gift with Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch, high-end BOSS dark chocolates (truffles, coffee beans, hazelnut bar), whiskey-infused peanut brittle, and a nice wooden crate as shown on their website.
What arrived was nothing like the product photos or description: a bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey (~$25 retail), Haribo gummy bears, Vlasic dill relish, a cheap tea pouch, a basic mug, and some packaged cookies. Total value of what I received? Maybe $60 at most. No premium chocolates, no brittle, no wooden crate – just random low-end items that looked thrown together.
This wasn't a minor substitution; it was an entirely different, far inferior product. When I contacted customer service with photos, they hid behind a "substitution policy" but offered no substantial refund , replacement, or real resolution.
BroCrates has a pattern of these complaints (check Trustpilot, BBB, Sitejabber, etc.). It feels like a classic bait-and-switch. Save your money and avoid the disappointment – there are plenty of reputable gift basket companies out there.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience. I placed a large order based on the products shown on their website, but what I received was a complete mess.
First, the company switched out several items I ordered for completely different products without my consent. If I wanted those items, I would have ordered them; you can’t just decide to send substitutes without asking the customer.
To make matters worse, the packaging was negligent. The glass beer bottles were not wrapped properly—they were loose in the box and arrived shattered. On top of the breakage, most of the items I actually paid for were missing from the shipment entirely.
When I reached out to resolve this, providing clear photographic proof of the broken glass and the incorrect/missing items, the company refused to issue a refund. Their customer service is nonexistent, and their business practices are deceptive.
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. This company takes your money and sends whatever they feel like—if they send anything at all.

God awful company. They don't give you want you paid for and then wont give you a refund because they claim they can substitute trash or legit anything instead of what you actually ordered. DON'T BUY!

You know the feeling…holidays are around the corner, nothing comes to mind. Then you see it. A new brand of gifting you have never seen/heard of. I am so so happy and pleased. The gift items I chose, including the champagne upgrade, made a beautiful “crate” which I gifted to some lovely friends. A Merry Christmas and a Happy Anniversary all in one. And I placed the order and it was received TWO DAYS later. Two days later!!! I am impressed and will absolutely use BroCrates again.

False Advertising/Scam
Please go to Yelp (not Google or their “company” website) where you can view true customer reviews (all 1-2 stars) and over 40 stories of people ordering custom options and each time receiving completely different lower end items in the crate/basket. Do not get scammed by this “company”.
Even though it appears legit, they do not have a true customer service department and they will immediately get defensive citing “you agreed to the terms where it states substitutions may be made”. It appears they rely on this to take everyone’s money for higher end items, then swap them out for lower end items to make more profit. They will say it is due to the time needed for delivery… but I ordered way in advance. They do not call or email you that they are low stock or have swapped it out so you can plan accordingly. They just surprise your gift recipient with a lower end flop of a present. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Go read.

The worst ever online order experience. Ordered the Complete Heineken Brocrate only thing that was the same on the picture was the beer. The remaing items were of lower quality. Requested a refund or replacement. Received a well scripted, we are not responsible kind of reply.

I purchased the wine trio specifically because it was supposed to come in a nice crate. It arrived in a basket. A small basket. I could have purchased the wine and a better basket for half the price on my own, but wanted it in the nice crate for a gift. I called and they said to email with a picture. I emailed with a pic. Then I called to check on it. Finally got an email back saying that substitutions are normal and I agreed to their terms of service, so they would not send me a crate for my gift. WHAT A RIPOFF. Don't buy from this company if you want to get what you pay for.

What you see is not what you get
I ordered a beer flight gift set for a friend's birthday. BroCrates delivered an entirely different item - 4 cheap/ugly large beer mugs and a cutting board. When I reached out with my disappointment, customer service did nothing but hide behind their "substitution policy", which apparently means they can disregard what you actually order. The gift/shipping was expensive. BUYER BEWARE.
