The website is primitive - I tried for thirty minutes to configure the choices and have given up. I'm sending to a couple in sympathy but the "greeting card assistant" insists on a) adding a name to the front of the card and b) formats the card with one name only, which is unacceptable. Then it doubled my order, and in Checkout, there is no way to edit the quantity. So start all over again. Nice selection of goods, betrayed by poor web management.

Fast and high quality service! We ordered a fruit and chocolate gift basket for my parents anniversary in the morning and it was delivered the same day in the afternoon. They absolutely loved it! Customer service was great and received emails with the status of their order. We will be using Hazleton’s again!

They canceled my order due to a “fraud concern.” I understand that security checks are important, but they could have checked with my bank to verify that the payment went through and confirm that the transaction was legitimate instead of simply canceling my order without any verification.
It’s frustrating that they made the decision to cancel the order without first confirming the payment with the bank or giving me an opportunity to verify the transaction.

Arrived late, with incorrect, damaged, melted, and nearly expired items. Most were inedible, and many expire within the next two weeks.

Several items were completely wrong: instead of olive oil and herb crackers, I received a bag of Takis; instead of expensive dark truffle chocolates, I received a bag of cheap melted milk chocolate.

The items looked like damaged, discounted gas-station merchandise rather than a quality shipment. A complete waste of money.

Items were delivered as scheduled and were packaged as pictured.

I ordered a kosher gift basket with a few add-ons, including an Aloe Vera plant, as a gift for my son. Almost nothing received was kosher, and about 90% of the items were low-quality replacement substitutes: Wisconsin cheddar instead of aged Havarti cheese, plain water crackers instead of olive oil and sea salt crackers, cheap artificial grape flavor spread instead of wildberry jam, and a $19.99 succulent arrangement instead of the $24.99 Aloe Vera plant ordered. Quality was far below what was advertised. Very disappointing experience.

Basically a scam

The hamper that arrived - five days late, I might add - looked absolutely nothing like what was ordered. Pics available but I can’t figure out how to attach them. The “magnificent macaron and chocolate gift crate” was ordered as a gift for me and the crate that arrived had nothing in common with what was listed. The actual contents were cheap items you would find at a local grocery store including zero sugar cookies and frozen raspberries (already squashed/damaged/inedible on arrival).

Absolutely terrible experience. 0/10 service.

My order included flowers and food meant as an apology gift for my girlfriend — even the card said “Sorry.” The delivery arrived FOUR DAYS late. By that time, the flowers and food were already spoiled.

Instead of taking responsibility for such an unacceptable delay, customer service simply kept repeating that they would not issue any refund without photos. Of course, the recipient did not stop to take pictures of spoiled flowers and food — she was upset, threw everything away, and the whole situation became even worse.

I used this service because I wanted to do something nice for someone close to me. Instead, their delay completely ruined the surprise and made the situation worse.

Customer service showed no real understanding of the circumstances and offered no meaningful solution. Their position was basically: no photos, no refund, regardless of the four-day delay.

$254 completely wasted.

If you are thinking about ordering flowers or gifts for someone important to you, think twice. If something goes wrong with the delivery, do not expect this company to take responsibility or actually help resolve the problem.

Wonderful basket and perfect delivery

The product did not match what was promised. That wasn’t gourmet treats basket. Smucker strawberry preserve, Voortman cookies, Haribo gummy bears and Popcorn. Those items can be purchased in a dollar store. Additionally, no freshness guarantee! a frozen item was included in the basket, Trü Frü frozen fresh raspberries. The item was so old and warm that the bag looks like a helium balloon. I worked with high school students with special needs and they know better. The fruits were warm and sweaty. I am afraid to eat them. I was at home when the basket was delivered so it wasn’t outside.

We are a New Zealand based company that have customers in USA we wanted to congratulate with the birth of their babies. Hazelton's had the perfect gifts. The ordering process was easy. We received notifications of order progression. They replied quickly to an email enquiry. I highly recommend Hazelton's

I always buy the details for my wife here; Hazelton's GB never disappoints. The best quality. They take care of your gifts, and I can just say I love everything about them!

Horrible! Order explicitly stated a ONE business day delivery and it still has not arrived three days later. Customer service was HORRIBLE when I contacted them. I strongly recommend not ordering from this company.

I ordered a wine gift box for a friend’s birthday and she absolutely loves it! Will definitely order again!

HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

They will send you a cheap version of whatever you ordered and refuse refunds because of their replacement policy.

Catch is that their replacement policy states "in all cases, the design, size, colour palette, and value are maintained” but they determine what that means for them and send whatever cheap item they have on hand.

Their customer service is outsourced and they don't care AT ALL whether you are satisfied with your order.

What should have been a lovely gift of appreciation for someone is now a complete disappointment.

Unscrupulous & dishonest company. Inferior & embarrassing basket received. They hide behind their substitutions policy. I should have seen the warning signs when there were 0 Reviews on their site for the basket I ordered. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The basket that was delivered for my son's birthday was a huge misrepresentation of what was advertised & ordered. I ordered the Tuscan Spring Gourmet Gift Basket which retailed at $159.99 and had added 6 Gala Apples at $9.99 & Brie Cheese at $9.99 for a total of  $182.97 before taxes. The Salt & Pepper Mills were missing as was the 4 piece pasta tools set. The pasta & pasta sauce brands received were Barillo Pasta & Classico Pasta Sauce, both basic cheap grocery store items along with Iberio Olive Oil. Hardly gourmet Italian foods. In addition Rice Wine Vinegar was substituted for Balsamic Vinegar; again not close to being a 'gourmet Italian food.' I understand at times that substitutions may have to be made. The basket itself was clearly not a classic wicker basket and substituted. The pasta, pasta sauce, olives, olive oil & balsalmic vinegar all substituted. 2 items in the basket (Grana Padano Cheese) & Brie Cheese (added item) were both substituted with Gouda cheese. I feel that the basket was a total misrepresentation of what was expected to be received. False advertising at it's best. I paid almost $200 for a basket that would cost about $60 at a stretch in the grocery store. My email to Customer Service received a standard form response like all the ones they have posted on here, saying "substitutions are common in the gifting industry as product availability can change frequently. In these situations, we carefully replace unavailable items with similar products of equal or greater value." That was definitely not the case with my order and no mention was made of the 6 missing items from my basket that I have paid for and never received. A very unscrupulous company that I will never order from again and I will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau and my Credit Card Company. I will make all efforts on social media to ensure potential customers are not defrauded like I was by this dishonest company.
