Everything was perfect! Brut is THE brand doing best on all parameters! I love it!

The worst experience I’ve had ordering anything online. Bought one of their jackets - they sent me a faulty jacket with permanent stains over the statement metalwork then completely ignored all of my emails. After this, got an unexpected FedEx charge. These guys are verging on a scam company, avoid.

**Extremely disappointing experience, particularly for UK customers.**

I was hit with a £146 customs charge that I was only made aware of after my order had already been delivered and had cleared customs.

When I challenged this, I was told the information was in the T&Cs – ie hiding in the small print.

A potential £146 additional cost should be clearly flagged at checkout.

Then, when I tried to return the item, I was hit with an additional £25 charge.

I am now £171 out of pocket in additional fees that weren't made sufficiently clear upfront.

For a company heavily advertising to UK customers, I expect much greater transparency. The whole customer experience felt misleading, and borderline a scam (in order for them to score a sale).

I strongly advise UK customers to avoid Brut, at least until they know how to properly operate overseas.

To Brut, stop advertising to UK customers if you're going to be misleading them. All you're doing is damaging your brand.

Ice cold clothing

I’ve been a customer of Brut for a while and have purchased from them several times, both in-store and online. This time, I wanted to buy a matching jacket and pants online, so I was a little worried about the sizing.

They were incredibly helpful, answering all of my questions and providing detailed information about the measurements, fit, and materials. Their replies were thoughtful, patient, and made me feel confident before placing my order.

The set fits exactly as I hoped, and the quality is fantastic. It’s rare to receive this level of customer care from an online shop. Highly recommended!

Sadly, this retailer is not fit for international transactions. I ordered from the UK and I was hit with a significant duty/VAT bill from Fedex. After looking into it, I realised I was double charged for the shipping and the VAT (and paid extra duty for the errors). They say they remove the VAT where appropriate, but prices remain exactly the same, so that is simply untrue. After I raised these issues, I was told I would be issued a refund for the double shipping charge but that never actually happened. If they wish to annihilate their reputation, they are doing brilliantly.

On sent qu’il y a une vraie attention portée à ce que vous faites, et ça devient assez rare aujourd’hui. Continuez comme ça, c’est un vrai plaisir de porter vos vêtements ! 🙌

Great communication and quick delivery with updates throughout the process

Love their clothes, have bought jeans, shoes and trousers, all great quality, arrive promptly, great communication, but the taxes on fedex shipping to the UK are a killer, I would love to buy more stuff, hopefully a London outlet one day !
