Builderscrack.co.nz Reviews

This is our fourth time using Builders crack for the updating of our new home and we can’t praise the applicants higher! Highly professional and diligent, any further work we want done we will be going through this service again and again!

Great platform for finding and appointing experienced trades people.
Especially handy as I was out of town

Easy to use, low effort/admin

Will definitely use again

Speedy responses from tradespeople. Secured an exceptionally good tiler who I would very confidently recommend.

Quick. Easy effective.
Will definitely be using again

Builderscrack works, but the token overage system needs fixing.
When my tokens ran out, the platform still allowed a connection and I was automatically charged an overage, even though the job didn’t lead to any real engagement or chance to quote.

Contractors don’t really have control once the system processes the connection. Connections should stop when tokens are exhausted unless the contractor clearly opts in to an overage. That would improve transparency and prevent unexpected charges.

Sharing this as constructive feedback a small system change would make a big difference.

My experience using Buildercrack three times now for 3 separate projects is many of listed sole trader trades are unreliable time wasters who don't turn up for meeting or don't follow thru with quotes. I found 50-60% of those that visit site don't reply or follow up, full of excuses, car crash, wife in hospital etc
Other issue lot of replies to work ads are from 'tradies' that when question have no experience or trade background, just hoping to BS getting work from inexperienced customer.

Gave me suggestions I would never have known about and I was able to find the perfect company from the start

Awesome platform. Makes finding tradies for jobe so much easier. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

What a great way to get a job done! Ours was a small job, but Builderscrack arranged for three builders to compete for it. The one we selected was excellent, and we wouldn't have found him without their help. The system is straightforward and easy to navigate, and ensures you get a good match with a suitable tradesperson. There are a few other little tasks that need doing around our place, and it's a sure bet we'll be calling on Builderscrack for their assistance.

Excellent fellow and service recieved. Quick, thorough and a reasonable price.

As a single woman doing a full home renovation I had no clue where to get the people I needed for all the work I had. BUILDERS CRACK got the ball rolling with the best electrician Zack at Power Pulse Electrical.who then connected me to the best plumber Marcus from Upbeat Plumbing.

Very happy. Was connected with an affordable competent tradesman who completed the job well. Will defiantly use again.

The response from providers on the platform was nearly immediate and I had a good options to choose from. There are so many other service platforms out there that can't deliver that.

We've used Builderscrack a number of times now and have always had a great experience. Such an efficient and effective way to find someone to do the work needed in a timeframe that suits you both.

So easy, saved ringing round, the tradespeople who contacted me, wanted to do the job. So many people say they will give you a quote and you never hear from them again.

Very satisfied. Got an quick response for an akward job with a small, difficult ti isolate, contractor/tradesman base.
Site was not quite intuitive for a first-time user - some things like accepting quote not explained well.

Website made a potentially time consuming activity quick and painless. Would recommend.

A good option when you don't personally know any suitable tradesmen.

We have used builderscrack a few times now, always get great tradies who we would happily use again

First time using Builderscrack as a friend recommended.
Was really impressed with the ease of using the portal and how fast tradespeople responded. I would definitely use again and recommend. :)
