Alex designed three wardrobes for our family after we put it off for at least 12-18 months in the ‘too hard basket’. The robe designs are perfect and as individual as each of us! His expertise was invaluable with amazing solutions that were so unique for each of us but complemented our house style and look custom made! The little things that we would never have thought of has made them so ideal and user friendly! I was very impressed by his prompt availability, both by phone and email, as well as his attention to detail and his efficiency in getting back to me with a design and an installer. We used Alex to redesign our kitchen using IKEA Metod frames with custom fronts from Customea. His design was completed quickly to a high level of detail, with all the notes needed to make the kitchen happen seamlessly. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Alex at Burra Design recently helped us with a home office fitout. His professionalism and attention to detail are excellent. It is a relatively small space and the transformation to a more usable space, with a large desktop area as well a huge amounts of storage is awesome. Alex assisted us with a living room project. His customer service was friendly and efficient. He assisted in designing a lovely 6m long tv unit/window seat/ pantry design with his very talented ikea skills which enabled us to have the design we wanted at a very cost effective price point. Alex’s expertise was exactly what we needed! We gave him a brief on what we wanted, he took the time prior to and come up with a workable plan so that during our meeting, he was showing us a ready to go design. We have an odd shaped kitchen and he worked out creative solutions to make the most of the space. He also made a few style adjustments for us post the meeting in a flash! I repurposed some Ikea kitchen cabinetry from a house that was being knocked down. I gathered all the pieces and brought them to my unit, thinking I had a vague idea of what I wanted and where to put everything. But let's be honest, I was overwhelmed. I knew I was missing some crucial parts, and that's when Alex swooped in like a design superhero.
He measured what I had, we chatted about the design, and boom! Within an hour, he conjured up a 3D model of the kitchen, complete with a list of item codes from Ikea that I needed to complete the masterpiece. It was like a scene out of a blockbuster movie – picture epic music and slow-motion high-fives. Alex's professionalism and skill were off the charts.
I cannot recommend Alex enough. If you're in need of a design magician to turn your jumbled Ikea dreams into a reality, he's your guy. Trust me, this experience was more impressive than watching a squirrel solve a Rubik's cube. Yeah, it's that good!

Alex has really gone above and beyond with us . Honestly, I can't fault his service and expertise. He was prompt , available and very reliable. I will be recommending him to anyone interested in a kitchen , wardrobe and any other sort of renovation that relates to IKEA design.

Alex was brilliant to work with. He guided us through the deign process, making the kitchen work for us, with ideas and problem solves we would have never considered ourselves. Working with Alex made short work of navigating an endless Ikea cabinetry range for the kitchen, and I have ended up with a kitchen I love. He was generous with his industry contacts to draw in the tradespeople I needed and while this was an interim renovation, I will come back to do the full reno consult in the future.
