Solihull and Trafford centre branch very recently.

Never had a bad experience in these restaurants including Cardiff and Birmingham branch years ago.
Always pleasant staff and food served quickly and efficiently with a smile. Lovely coffee and breakfast too.
Like the fact they have promotions on which is the reason I go more regularly. Looking forward to a savoury afternoon tea with cheese instead of cakes

Went to the Woking CR last night for a pre-theatre birthday treat. In fairness, my wife enjoyed her French Onion Soup and Omelette. They were hot and tasty.

My experience, however, was dire. The garlic mushrooms were lukewarm, with only a few mushrooms on the plate. Very poor value for money.

We eventually had to threaten to leave because of the huge delay between the first and second course. The course then arrived within seconds. The fries were cold and the steak was like shoe leather. I had to saw my way through it to get each mouthful, back and forth about 20 times. (No exaggeration, I promise). It was tasty enough but needed a strong jaw.

We were offered a 50% discount on our next visit but it’s unlikely that we will take it up.

Poorly done Café Rouge.

Always been pleasant when I have eaten there before. Went before the cinema using the buyagift system last week. Not much choice on the set menu they give you and a few of the mains have a £3 supplement as well, so cost does add up! A wider choice, without the supplement would make the buyagift for caferouge worth it. Food was lovely though.

Went to the Euston branch, food was decent How ever some staff seem to lack some training.

Went to the St Paul’s restaurant for our office Christmas meal. We had chosen our meals 3 weeks in advance but still had a 30 minute wait for our 1st course. The garlic mushrooms I chose were lukewarm and the bread they were sat on soggy. Cue a 40 minute wait for our mains. The salmon was bland, the veg lukewarm and the rosti burnt. The only saving grace to the entire meal was dessert - mulled berries crumble and ice-cream.

Oh, and Management - please get someone to clean the cubicle doors in the ladies toilets..!!! They are filthy.

I have generally had a pleasant experience eating here and it's a nice spot for a Coffee on the way to work. The Waiters are always professional and polite.

If I can I put zero,Bullring Cafe Rouge last Wednesday I have order crumble. In a place I got someone eaten before desert, with a bit apple compote on bottom about 10 grams and crumbs of varying level of roast.I am experienced chef and saw all possible and impossible things in kitchen, but this is too much.I don't want to sort this out with manager, she was dirty dressed and brought us cocktails with no straws in it.Never ever I will choice it.

Went to cafe rouge Cheltenham for afternoon tea. Only one slice of bread each only 2 choices of filling they were not happy that we both wanted something different. Scones warm and under cooked and much smaller than picture outside. Mousse no more than a teaspoonful. 4 small slices of cake very dry and stale. Waitress not helpful and quite rude. Went to cafe rouge centre parcs and we were served by a lovely waitress called Cyndee Rae. Not only was she polite and friendly she interacted with us as a family seeing that our boy liked dinosaurs told us about a dinosaur park for us to visit on our way home. As we were all tired and didn’t stay for desert she let us take home our boys brownie that was included to eat later. Just really nice to have lovely staff when your on holiday as it makes your experience better.

Went to Cafe Rouge Exeter with my daughter and husband. We sat outside and waited for a waiter to appear. After 15 minutes none had. We asked a young girl who was clearing tables in one could be summoned. She went to ask but came back and said that no one was prepared to come out. We dutifully went in and ordered. The food was poor. Burger over seasoned and very salty frites cold and claggy chicken breast turns out to be half a chicken breast and very bland. No one came out during the meal to see if everything was okay. Summary: bad service (no service), poor quality food and stingy portions. Oh, and why can't I have English mustard? I know they pretend to be french, they are not! They're owned by and English company. Pull your socks up or you'll go the same way as Jamie Oliver, hopefully.

We had lunch at Cafe rouge in leamington Spa, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. A massive thank you to Helena who was our waitress, because of the wonderful food and fantastic service, we will definitely be coming back.

We had lunch with friends at Café Rouge Salford last Friday. Food good as always (though there is still this thing where coffee is served before dessert!) and a really friendly and helpful waitress.

Me & a friend went for lunch at Café Rouge in Milton Keynes shopping centre today. We were served by Richard who was very polite & cheerful. We had a lovely meal & a couple of drinks. I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

Excellent lunch for 2 on Groupon voucher - went to their Trafford Centre restaurant and had a very pleasant relaxed experience.

Fish in beer batter and the poulet breton was to die for

My partner and I visit Cafe Rouge in Brighton Marina occasionally. Nice staff, good location and the food is usually OK.
I ordered a rump steak here at the weekend and it was like leather, I had to leave half of it on the plate. This is the second time I've ordered this dish and it was dreadful both times. By comparison, the much cheaper minute steak and fries is normally fine.
Complained to the manager and she was kind enough to give us a complimentary dessert but I would much rather have had a decent meal in the first place. One bad rump steak could have been chance, two bad steaks sounds like somebody at Cafe Rouge central is trying to cut costs by buying cheap produce.

I had a fantastic meal on the Saturday evening and went back on the Saturday and Sunday for Breakfast that too was excellent. The service was very good and the staff made you relaxed and welcoming and the price for my evening meal and Breakfasts was very good.

Chicken burger with fries was unreal, ordering it everytime i go now

My negative review is predicated on the lack of response to a complaint I made following a disappointing level of service in August. I treated my wife to afternoon tea at their Tenterden branch, in response to an ad I had received by email where you would receive 2 free glasses of Prosecco as celebration of Afternoon tea week. In short, we did not get the Prosecco but did not notice until after we left. I followed Cafe Rouge's online complaint system which was essentially a standard review forum. I received no response at all so I wrote to their head office in September with a copy of my receipt. Still no response. Thus, I can only conclude Cafe Rouge do not care one jot about their customers and shan't be using them again. Very disappointing as I used to be a big fan.

Breakfast at Cheltenham city centre branch on 11 Nov. Bacon just borderline cooked, banana and tomatoes well past their best. We won’t eat here again.
