Dundalk store....Lead time was very quick and Colin went above and beyond to ensure we got everything we needed at a fantastic price would 100% recommend

Absolutely disgusted at the way they have treated us. We bought a suite of furniture last August from this store in cavan. Suite of furniture arrived and days after we noticed the threads were coming out of one of the 2 seaters then one of the sections of the recliners opened. There was a man that called to our home in November/December and was quite rude said it wouldn't be able to be done before Christmas so we said okay, Christmas came and went still nothing. My husband went into the store on Tuesday, got a phone call today from Walshes to say that they've nobody to call to us until the 20th of March. This is an absolute joke. We paid €1,999 for the suite, please do not buy anything from this store.

August 30 2025.
On entering the store the staff were very friendly and helpful. I purchased a suite of furniture and it was delivered very quickly. All good so far.
Within weeks the stitching started to unravel, and on informing the store I was told a person would be out to see the flaws. By the time I had a visit from a different company, one of the seats began to fail, so the repair man told me, this is a new flaw, not what he was calling for, promptly left, and I have heard nothing since.
This leaves me with the question, are Caffreys Cavan selling defective goods, or have I just been forgotten.
At this point I would like a refund.
I will add information here after I call into the shop tomorrow. This problem has been ongoing since some weeks after purchase.
It's been a few days since I returned to the shop, I received a call from the same furniture repair company, with an appointment for another month's time.
I didn't buy a suite to be careful using, rather than just being comfortable.
It was implied the suite would be exchanged...... but the last repair company is the next step.

Be Very careful with this companies furniture, premium prices, below par goods.

Received a delivery this morning, a new suite, 2x2 seaters & 1x3 seater.....
Swapped for the first suite.
Looks and feels good, so far.
