Cake was made 5 minutes before my collection time so it was not set, the icing slid off and it was not holding together at all. I called at 5pm to make sure it would be ready for 5:30 and was told they were busy and it was going to be late. Had to use toothpicks to try and hold it together.

Antwoord van Cake Box
Hi Leah,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are very sorry to hear about your recent experience and understand how disappointing this must have been, especially when the cake did not meet expectations at the time of collection.
Our cakes are prepared fresh to order, however they should always be presented in a condition that is ready to serve and of the quality our customers expect. We regret that this was not your experience on this occasion.
We will be sharing your feedback with the store team to review the preparation and timing, as well as the communication provided to you prior to collection, so we can improve going forward.
We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to provide you with a better experience in the future.
Warm regards,
Cake Box Customer Support
