This company are amazing & I cannot praise them highly enough. I have had years fighting an ICB to get back what was taken from my late Mother illegally. I would love to name them but can only say they are in Essex. This ICB were utterly appalling & deserve to be showed up to the public. They lied, ignored & disrespected my Mother & my family. The bottom line was they did not want to take any responsibility & did everything they could to get out of paying. However, they were no match for Stephanie who worked very hard & stood firm not allowing them to get away with anything. Julie is outstanding, always a supportive friendly voice on the end of the telephone & I cannot thank her enough for her help & friendship. All the team work diligently your behalf. Its hard in this day & age to find a company who stand by you 100%, work in a caring & open way & above all keep you well informed. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From the first initial enquiry with Julie we have found everyone in this company to be extremely helpful & professional explaining what to expect at each stage & what options were available to us. Following the death of my father part way through the procedure we decided not to pursue a retrospective claim as we had no certainty that we could win and they quickly refunded money already paid as they had not at that stage commenced the work necessary. Throughout our claim Karen gave us expert advice & did not try to influence our decision. Donna quickly responded to any phone or email enquiries. Our experience has been positive and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

Julie was very helpful and gave a lot of advice, very pleasant to speak over the phone as well. Very knowledgeable about the care homes, and talked us through the steps on what we should do. I certainly appreciated the honesty, I felt like I could trust them whole heartedly. If I do need to use them again in the future, I certainly will be contacting them again.

I was directed to Care Necessities about 16 months ago after my Mum had a bad fall breaking her hip and needed to have professional care. I have found them very clear and helpful to me at a difficult time with so many things to consider as POA. They were
always patient and kind with me as I was I’m afraid often distraught with matters. I would gladly recommend them as being professional , very knowledgeable and very clear too with all the masses of information. I am extremely grateful to them for their help.

After my wife had been turned down for CHC funding after several months in hospital, Stephanie and the team helped us not only secure CHC funding, but also guided us successfully through the subsequent 3-months and annual reviews. I contacted Steph when my father left hospital recently. He had complicated care needs after being in hospital for 7 weeks and I wasn’t sure what care he would need moving forwards after the initial free care ended. Steph has gone above and beyond to help and is continuing to advise me on what assessments dad may need to ensure he receives the best care and what he may be able to receive towards any ongoing care. I have used this company for securing CHC for my mum after leaving hospital with many difficulties and into a care home.
Since the first contact the help, assistance and genuine caring was evident and all with my mum's wellness and best interests at heart.
Not only did they successfully gain CHC for my mum, they also made sure she kept it at the first review and the caring attitude was evident on the visits that Karen did to see her.
After all they did they went even further and applied for a retrograde CHC claim and successfully recovered the amount mum had paid for her own care before she was awarded CHC.

I have nothing but admiration for this team. After 5 years of caring for my mum who has alzheimers, but also my dad who is struggling to manage the care and cope day to day, I have reached the end of my tether and despite a formal diagnosis over 3 years ago, still no assessment by social care and no care package in place. I have had excellent advice on how to get started with the difficult process of navigating the legalities, financial impacts and challenges we will face as we look for care options and just to get the assessment my mother needs. I have had very long conversations with Julie who listened, advised, offered comfort and reassurance and never once tried to rush me as I tried to explain the impact on the whole family, not just mum, as her condition worsens, and all of this with no charge or obligation to take it further. The help, advice and support we've received from Karen, Julie and the team have been amazing as we've navigated our way through the care funding process for the first time. Nothing has been too much trouble and they've always found the time to listen to us and answer all of our questions. And always their kindness and caring has shone through. Even if we hadn't been successful in securing CHC for funding for mum, it would still have been worth it. We can't recommend Care Necessities enough.

Care necessities are always by your side,always answer the telephone if julie is not available when you telephone she will contact you back ,it's nice to have a professional person to talk to and most importantly to listen,the receptionist is also excellent and certainly in our case always relays messages,with the problems we had with the local authority we as parents nearly lost the will to carry on,but the care necessities team gave us the spirit to carry on,always emailing and telephoning to help sort problems out for us,if you are reading this and find you are banging your heads against a brick wall and you find you are struggling give care necessities team a telephone they will listen to what you have to say and help in anyway they can and sometimes it's just nice to unload and clear your head,this is a genuine and honest review I could have praised and said a lot more but whoever reads this you have your own problems.robert

I had the pleasure of dealing with Julie after my Mothers care home advised me to get in touch with Care Necessities, Julie was exeptional and listened to me and gave me the advice I needed before passing me on to someone who could help me further. We are the 3 children of a mother now 107 who went into care at 102. She was immobile and after care through her 90's at home the Doctor decided she needed more care than we with carers could achieve. We sought nursing care but the NHS refused in 2018.
We started appeals but again failed. We found Care Necessities and with their intensive assistance and representations we have found we are now being listened to within the NHS.
Our mothers funds are running out. The NHS pulled an appeal and we survived COVID etc.
Our Advocate prepared and presented in recent times by many hours of team involvement.
The 3 80 to 85 year olds as we now are recognised professional and excellent skills and know we could never have done the same.
